Not what it used to be unfortunately. Too much added rules and restrictions

We went home earlier. The farmer next to the campsite and right behind our tent started his work at 06.00 in the morning. Thick tractors idling for hours. To go crazy. WiFi very poor. Beds in luxury glamping tent were moderate. Size of tent was good and sanitary facilities okay. Pitches large. Unfortunately our vacation was no fun. Manager thought we should have complained earlier. Neighbors had already done so. To no avail.

Really great accommodation. We have been here a week but will definitely come back . Own little pool , sauna etc. Relaxing

We booked 10 days and were there at the warmest time. As expected, the weather was excellent. Hot but that's how it is at the beginning of August. The check in was friendly and there was also a small bag for the dog. When you enter the site, you can see a well-kept pool landscape on the right, including a few nice plants. Then it becomes rather dull. The pitch had plenty of space. But it was so narrow that the awning had its exit right on the road. But well, camping is always a bit individual and you adapt to the conditions. One thing that didn't work at all was the very outdated wash houses. They are cleaned at 7 in the morning and when I went to the toilet early I was told in a very unfriendly way that they were cleaning. It's a good thing I was still half asleep and did my emergency cleaning anyway, ignoring the fact that there was sometimes no hot water in the showers in the evening. The shower heads are fixed to the wall. Some of the door locking mechanisms are very worn out. No waste garbage can in the cabins, which had a noticeable effect on cabin cleanliness. Toilet paper was usually no longer available from midday.... Simply not in line with the price. There was nothing for the dog. No shower, nothing! What do you pay €11 a day for a dog for? The supermarket was good and well stocked. The ladies there were very nice! There was no admission control for visitors coming back to the site from the lake until 11pm in the evening! Everyone could go from the lake to the wash houses etc. The staff asked my wife where she wanted to go when leaving the campsite on the way to Gardaland on foot. Apparently they are afraid of campers who don't indicate all their fellow travelers. My wife was particularly shocked by the tone of the staff. The lady at check-out was also increasingly unfriendly after she couldn't find some information about our payment! There was only an evening program for the children. If I'm wrong, it's only because on the 5th day I didn't feel like looking up what the evening program was. Very amateurish and the same thing over and over again. Unfortunately we won't be going there again. All in all, the place would be ok. But definitely not at this exorbitant price. If you don't want guests to come back, keep it up!

The campsite is dirty, as is the accommodation and the pool area. One defect follows the next. Many things are broken, which can be very dangerous. Some of the staff are very unfriendly and overworked. The exit times are completely impractical, you can only get in and out at completely inappropriate times. The lifeguard is just for decoration, everyone does what they want without regard for other people. The floor in the pool area is very slippery, the floor tiles are loose, so you have to be careful not to step on nails. The way to the beach is along the main road without a footpath. You walk for about 10 minutes. Very dangerous! The beach is also completely filthy. A very disappointing stay!!! Definitely not recommended, especially not with small children!!! Unbelievable! We have never experienced anything like it!

Even after a few days later, unfortunately no improvement in the sanitary facilities. For a 5 star place it is simply not enough to clean roughly once a day. Rough was meant seriously!!! Disinfectant dispensers are available but constantly empty.

We’ve been with a camping at Kohnenhof. A lot of space for the tent or caravan. Beautiful nature, river. Friendly staff. We like it a lot. The only one thing - there is a sign that kids suppose to be accompanied with parents. We understood why-it’s not so easy to press a drain button. The rest was very good.

What a beautiful campground! My kids (9 and 7) and I really enjoyed this place in the middle of nature on a beautiful river. We swam a lot, rented a sup, did canyoning and enjoyed the views. It was hot when we stayed there, so the river brought much needed cooling. The plumbing was clean. And the campground was very quiet. We were on the river at the end of the campground, a little walk to the toilets, but what a nice place!

We had a great stay at this campsite (2 weeks in a caravan). The direct access to the lake, the calm, the setting and the quality of the restaurant are real assets. However, for a 4-star campsite, the cleanliness and obsolescence of the sanitary facilities, the lack of lighting in the lanes and the state of some of the lanes are highly regrettable. Nevertheless, we recommend this campsite.

Stayed in a bungalow/chalet type C, equipped with every luxury and chose the option with canopy, for €15.00 extra payment. The 2 air conditioners were not a luxury given the high temperatures. For my kids of 3 and 5 it was really super, the animation team also does very nice things. Indoor pool is a bit outdated, but otherwise fine and clean. All in all just had a great vacation.

Relaxing and strategic place. Lots of destinations to explore in the area. The staff is especially kind and caring. We felt at home right away :) A really nice experience!
