Liked: Amazing facilities, convenient shop & location! Loved the pool too! Disliked: Non grassy pitch wasn’t great and we were placed super close to the children’s entertainment area (we don’t have kids but realise we’re travelling during a peak time!!)

Liked: We stayed as a family with two children aged 7 and 10. It was very child friendly, they were able to easily find their way around the facilities and enjoyed watching the birds and ducks in the streams on the site. The water play park next door was fantastic! Free entry and a bar with nice coffee and snacks. The campsite facilities were clean and easy to use and access. Water 20 cents and shower 90 cents so make sure to take coins with you. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great with a short 10 minute walk to the train station or into the town. We visited Leiden and Amsterdam and had a great time in Woerden too.

An excellent, small and well maintained, family run campsite. All the staff were very welcoming, and the facilities clean and in good service. A great blend of camping and caravan pitches as well as chalets, and thankfully, small enough to offer some real French charm.

For the first time to France with our family, we would actually also go to Huttopia landes sud in 2020, but because of Corona, we then stayed in the Netherlands. |The reception at the reception was very welcoming and friendly. We were given a bag for recycling, waste is collected separately at Huttopia. And for organic waste there are composting bins. Which of course is a good thing. |In principle, everything is available at the campsite.

I'd like to thank this campsite, which welcomed us without reservation for 3 nights on the Ile de Ré, thanks to its so-called transient pitches. We set off in a converted van, so without really knowing where we were going, we let ourselves be guided by our desires and the sun. The campsite's great, the toilets are clean, the bike hire perfect, the evening show great, and the pastry service in the morning as well. A small downside for the pool: the pine trees all around are losing their thorns, making the pool very dirty. What's more, the wooden terraces surrounding the pools are very old and slippery when wet. My 2 and 5 year-olds fell and hurt themselves. Because of this, we had to cut short our afternoon at the pool and didn't go there again for the whole stay.

We stayed one night passing through in a camper . Honestly, it does not seem 4-star to me, the pitches are tiny, the campsite, tiny, has a swimming pool that was super crowded, everything is concentrated in the central area, the animation activities (which for the little ones seemed very good to me) were carried out on a road where cars and campers pass by all the time. The central bathrooms were clean and congruent in number but the more decentralized ones really few and in need of renovation. We tried the take-out pizza from the restaurant ...very bad. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful . Honestly you I would not go back there. The campsite is mostly frequented by Dutch people, of Italians there was only us! Wi-Fi is free only in the central area and is good. |I would not go back there.

Liked: The lake side beach and slides were great, as was the on-site play park and water park for children. Our children overall had a fun time. Good location for getting to Brugge and Ghent. The people working there in reception, and the cleaning staff, were all very kind and friendly. Disliked: This is not a site I would recommend for people camping with a tent. The basic facilities for camping were not there- charging for phones, and a place for ice blocks, for example. The shower and toilet blocks were inadequate for the number of people on site, queue of up to 15 minutes a time during busy periods. The washing up area smelled terrible, although they had someone unblocking the drains to resolve this the smell came back within less than 24 hours. The tent pitches are right by the busy restaurant and park area, and because they had an arcade set up it had a pulsating noise and this would carry on getting louder and busier until 11pm. Due to this we requested a different pitch but the only place they could accommodate was a grass area behind the toilet block. Whilst they were accommodating in a sense of allowing us to move, this wasn’t a pitch, as such we payed full price for the luxury of being in a car park behind the toilets. The restaurant on site was expensive for what was essentially frozen food (3 frozen pizzas, portion of chips and 4 drinks were €60). It wasn’t clear to us on the photos that this would be more like a holiday resort rather than a campsite. Unless being in an area where people drinking and smoking whilst listening to drum and bass arcade music is your thing, don’t book.

Liked: Even though we arrived quite late at the campsite, we were immediately made to feel incredibly welcome. The owners kept their kitchen open late to ensure we had something to eat from their homely restaurant. The ribs were delicious along with the local Luxemburg wine and beer. The showers though not super modern were the best showering experience we had this 3 week trip. We were only passing through making our way to the ferry back to the UK but will definitely be back! Thank you for the best overnight stay in your beautiful part of the world.

The site is welcoming and very scenic overall, but the gravel paths, which were all around our pitch, were constantly driven over by electric buggies, cars, mobile homes and caravans all day/evening, churning up dust and deafening any conversation you are having. If you fancy trying camping in the middle of the M25 you might enjoy this - we did not. Coupled with hedgecutting all day around our pitch made for an irritating 2 day stay. We didn't fancy using the toilets and shower block as they were not clean. Sorry but we won't be returning here.
