Liked: We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved this site. The location is fantastic so much to do in the area, and it’s a beautiful part of the world. The pitches were level and spacious. The facilities were very clean and tidy - toilets, showers and washing up area. Nice little pool to cool off in and a play area with swings, trampoline and a sandpit for the children. The owners were lovely and spoke good English. There is a bar and restaurant, we didn’t use them but they seemed very popular. I liked the chilled out vibe of the site and it felt very safe. Point to note is the electric hook ups are the traditional / old French 2 pin so an adaptor is needed, we had one with us, a couple on the pitch next to us didn’t but the owners had one they borrowed to hook their camper van up with Disliked: Pool area could have done with a little updating

More than a tent is a super accommodation complete with everything even a cleaning kit and games . Everything really clean and new beautiful

Overcrowded, expensive and noisy

The location is very nice, but the walls are very thin and hard to hear.

The employees do their best. However, for me the campsite does not meet some basic requirements. For example, there is constantly a penetrating sewage smell around our tent, there is a lot of noise into the night (also due to parties across the campsite, but certainly also from the campsite itself). Furthermore, there are many sloppinesses that can be considered teething problems, such as the toilets that you can hardly get into because the door is in the way when it is open and where there is a stupid toilet paper dispenser that does not give toilet paper. The campsite can't actually cope with the amount of guests, so there are often queues at toilets, showers, service desk, activities and the café. The walks and brochures of activities offered by the campground are also limited or brief in explanation. The pool is fine, but cramped and therefore quickly filled. The little river is nice and there are quite nice things to do in the area. I expect that this place with potential will quickly become a real transit campground. In any case, I found it unworthy of Huttopia. I can imagine that the people in the bungalows or glamping tents have a different image of the campsite.

Nice, fine, new tent. Good plumbing in it and plenty of closet space. Large veranda! Camping on Lake Garda. Not too big campsite, which we like. Swam a lot!

We spent 2 nights at this campsite and booked in advance. We were warmly welcomed at reception. - Simple and clean sanitary facilities - small "restaurant" with breakfast option - 7min walk to the bus stop in Courtils and from there by bus to the Mont Saint-Michel tourist attraction - Possibility to rent bicycles

I was extremely disappointed with the cleaning service I received. The floor was still very dirty, without even a vacuum, and there was hair everywhere. In addition, the plaids had not been changed, one of them being full of stains. The television worked very badly. For a cottage that's supposed to be comfortable, it's absolutely not worth the price I paid.

It was the second time for us to spend our summer vacation at Soof and again we had a wonderful stay! The cottage was just right for our family of 5, clean, with very nice terrace by the water. The children could safely and independently go to the playground and quickly found company with other children. The park is beautifully landscaped, which really gives a vacation atmosphere. Everything is very well taken care of (including a nice gift on arrival). We also really like the small scale and freedom from pets. The animation activities are a great added value, especially for the children. We also did several trips in the area.

This was our fourth Huttopia during our three-week Huttopia tour. We too were quite disappointed. We were assigned a somewhat neglected spot far from all the other campers, when we asked if we could choose, we were told how fully discussed the campground was. But our section was deserted! And that numbers were randomly assigned with no input from the reception. The road into the campground is extremely dusty, if a car drives there you should not walk there as a lung patient. The parking lot is right in front of the pitches. You have to cross that all the time to get to your spot. It is completely unclear to us what Exploreres receive besides free use of a bbq and no booking fee. At one campsite that is a soap set, at another free coffee and lemonade syrup. Coming from another Huttopia where we got a cup of coffee every day, we asked for it here too. And had to argue with the man behind the bar on the spot. Free drinks only came with a pizza. At the reception, where I went to inquire about the how or what, they told me I was right. We didn't get anything more. Cappuccino was really badly made anyway. I visited the disabled toilet right after a cleaner came out: sink was just not cleaned. Toilet building did not smell fresh. Why we had to pay €50 per night for this campsite, which is 10 more than the Huttopia before it, is beyond us. View over the Loire is beautiful, pizza is tasty, location is really remote from civilization. Supermarket 12 minutes by car, closed on Sundays. Saumur is beautiful, the castle Disney-like.
