New glamping tent on spot 55 was fine, but the ground in front of it was very muddy and no view because of no pruning! I asked if the landscaper could do something about it, but that was not possible because "the road builder just hadn't built the road another 2.5 meters." But that's not my problem, is it? Fix it and you have satisfied customers. Don't fix it and you have this review. Because of this we could not sit in the sun (the tent was mainly under the trees) and you had to take off your shoes constantly. Then had put us in the tent (19?) in front of it, where at least we had more sun and no dirty mud shoes... was empty all week.... I'm sure subsequent visitors will report the same problems in spot 55. So out of misery I just made a path and cut branches myself (sorry didn't have any garden tools with me) to fix something decent... Again the tents were excellent! Also, the reception was available from 2-7pm. Surely in high season you would expect to be available all the time. If you are out and about during the day then you arrive too late to discuss things with reception. It's just better for your customer relations.... Good help with electricity outages though. Also the restaurant nice people and good food. Pool is past glory, rotted doors and window frames. And make a supermarket or a cozy party room/barbeque possibilities in/near the big building above the laundry. That looked a bit sad too. Beautiful area but different campsite next time.

Arrived at this campground unexpectedly. They arranged a wonderful spot for us. The owners value service highly. You ask, we arrange. Nice campsite with kids and popular among Dutch people, it turned out. Thanks team Donnersberg.

Nickel, the 2 pools clearly make the difference...

What an incredibly nice campground. A basic campground with lots of animals. They offer fun activities. So you can rent a cuddly pony for a day or book an outside ride, puppies etc. You can feed and pet all the animals. The food we picked up was super nice with a golf cart brought to our tent/caravan and the quality was very good as far as we were concerned. Delicious French fries 😊 top week had and in May next year we will most probably come back!!! Thanks

For me it is excellent in everything is small but it is family friendly excellent service excellent bar good throughout the campsite if you are looking for tranquility I recommend this one

We spent a week here with 3 boys aged between 8 and 11. The site is close to the gorge and amongst the gorgeous views. The site has a relaxed vibe to it, perfect for lazy days. There are a variety of activities on and you can choose as little or as much as you like. We’ve been on Eurocamp holidays before and this felt a little more ‘grown up’. The ethos of connecting with nature and mostly off-grid was apparent and we loved it. Donkeys roaming around our safari tent was a bonus. The staff were all really friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and the service was efficient. If you’re looking for a way of being outdoors with a young family - this is perfect! It is suited to families with children up to 12 years old. As a family of 5, we love that Europe caters for us - we stayed in a safari tent with 2 bedrooms - one with a double and a single bunk bed on top. The other with a double bed. Ample local supermarkets for buying supplies. We drove from Calais - with a night’s stopover in Reims. We will certainly be visiting a Huttopia site again.

Fajna baza wypadowa do zwiedzania okolicy. Cicho, spokojnie, czysto. Byliśmy na początku sezonu, więc niektóre atrakcje były zamknięte (basen), a ludzi było mało. Piękne trasy do pieszych wędrówek dookoła. Wiele ciekawych miejsc w zasięgu kilku-kilkunasto minutowej jazdy samochodem. Bardzo sympatyczna obsługa. Same domki były czyste, dobrze posprzątane, dobrze wyposażone. Ponieważ był początek sezonu, zastaliśmy szereg rzeczy nowych, zafoliowanych, jak deska do krojenia, czy poduszki.

The three of us spent four nights in a studio. It was high season - just under 200 euros per night. Towels were not included - an additional 8.50 euros per person. I find that extremely inappropriate. There was only one door: the front door. The bathroom was completely open in the room, with no ventilation system or window. At night you are woken up by other people going to the toilet. The "sofa bed" was a normal couch with a gap to sit on, no mattress on it and extremely hard. Here too: an absurdity for 200 euros. The kitchen was poorly equipped: plates and cutlery okay, only a wooden spoon as kitchen utensils. No spatula, no ladle, nothing. There are two washing machines, but only one dryer. The staff were super friendly throughout and we were happy to take advantage of the bread rolls on offer.

A spacious site with a pleasant pool suitable for all ages. However, an obvious lack of maintenance was noted throughout the sanitary facilities. Constant stains in the toilets, un-emptied garbage cans, hair clogging up the shower water and creating an infamous smell. All this despite the fact that the cleaning team supposedly comes three times a day. The notion of scrubbing and cleaning is not a given for this team. Daytime entertainment is varied, but evening entertainment is unbearable, with music of the tectonic and electro types deafening. The volume is far too high, and the bass is disproportionately powerful. The floor shakes. It's a shame, because the entertainment team has good sound and lighting equipment, and they manage to make it a nuisance for the whole campsite. Despite numerous complaints to management, there has been no change. The campsite team ignores the complaints made by holidaymakers.

Nice, clean campsite with spacious sites. The sanitary building was cleaned often, fine! Friendly staff.
