What started with one time close camping became the 3rd time coming back already. The clean grounds & shower/toilet building, the friendly and welcoming owners (and daughters) the opportunity to brush and ride the ponies, a clear field with play area and spacious pitch makes us and the kids want to come back here again and again. The wifi connection is much improved over last year! Definitely worth 5 stars!

Clean, quiet and at night it's dark. Nice people. Close to the beach. We heard the surf from our van. Lovely! We planned for 3 days but stayed for 5. Only downside was the missing wifi. I can make my own decision if I want to disconnect from wifi while on holiday.

Review: Beautiful location, but clear shortcomings in camping operations We were on site with a large caravan (approx. 13.0 m long, 2.5 m wide). Unfortunately, the pitch assigned to us proved to be very difficult to access. Without driving over the adjacent pitches, it would have been almost impossible to maneuver without scratching the vehicle. As we arrived before the weekend campers and left after them, we were lucky - otherwise our departure would have been problematic. There are much more accessible pitches in the lower part of the site. Pitches & terrain Some of the pitches are quite small and have a steep slope; we had to level our caravan by more than 20 cm in two places. In addition, the fresh water supply is currently restricted due to construction work on the site; many extraction points were blocked off. Sanitary facilities & service The main sanitary building is visually appealing and has a nicely designed children's area (although there is no family shower). Unfortunately, the condition is poor: most of the silicone joints are infested with black mold. The hot water supply was particularly disappointing: With high occupancy, there was only cold water from 18:00. The reception's reaction to this was totally inappropriate. Our complaint was laughed at, and phrases such as "cold showers are healthy" are not very helpful - especially if you are traveling with a small child. The other sanitary building was closed; the toilet containers set up instead were inadequately cleaned. Leisure & location Apart from a trampoline and a table tennis table, there is little on offer for children. However, the location is a positive factor: the Biggesee lake, cycle paths and the town of Attendorn are all within easy reach. Conclusion The new chalets on the site look very inviting and modern. However, it gives the impression that the focus is currently very much on these rental accommodations and that there is little interest in the needs of classic campers.

Nastanitev smo odkrili naključno. Holiday homes je vrhunska nastanitev, osebje zelo zelo prijazno in ustrežljivo, bazen pred mobilno hiško je ogrevan, čistijo ga vsak drugi dan. Center mesta ravno prav oddaljen za sprehod. Oddaljenost plaže je 2 min, vmes je cesta, ocene za plažo ne morem podati, ker smo bili konec aprila, začetek maja in je morje še premrzlo. Priporočam.

Campground is quietly located in a valley among the hills. The campsite is quiet, at night it is quiet. Nice and involved Dutch owner and staff. Cozy atmosphere. Several fields with electricity and private bathroom as a possibility. Many cycling and hiking trails from the campsite.

Look reasonable at the last minute booked 5 nights here. And what an experience. Beautiful park (been here once in 1988 at the old campsite) very nice place. The tiny house was very nice with a sauna as a bonus. Service is great and they think in solutions. Beautiful swimming pool. Highly recommended for south Limburg.

Disappointing handling of legionella in Jacuzzi We stayed at Residence Valkenburg in Schin op Geul during the Amstel Gold. We had booked a stay of almost €900, precisely because of the presence of a jacuzzi, among other things. This unfortunately fell away after one day due to legionella present in the water. Understandable that this would be closed, but with that the (for us) main reason for our stay fell away. The "compensation" consisted largely of reimbursement of costs for the jacuzzi and (after many repeated emails) in addition only €74 extra. For us this is totally disproportionate to the impact on our stay. In addition, we, including children, still used the jacuzzi that contained legionella, which caused unnecessary worry. All in all, disappointing handling and little recognition of the situation. As a result, we doubt we would want to return to this park in the future.

1 week before arrival, we learn that the construction site in the entire dog area will not be finished. Guests who are currently on site report that the construction site in the dog area will probably last until well into August 2026. All guests were cheated and had to book at the beginning of December 2025 like every year. Now they are coming around the corner that the construction site has neither pipes... pipes... civil engineering... Roof, nor interior work are finished. Current guests on site report that the construction site with pictures in the Facebook group will definitely not be finished in the next 2 months. We are canceling now! What a huge joke. We don't want to be anywhere in the 51 / 61. And all dog areas are NOT usable until then!

super fun vacation had! full of animation , swimming and good food. our son was happy and then we are too! we will go back again

Very large campsite, we found this establishment by chance, to spend the night in a van, we arrived at 7pm and paid half price, the staff is very welcoming and speaks French.
