Een fijne ruim opgezette camping, wij zaten in een glamping tent. Deze was keurig, alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.
In het regelement staat te lezen vanaf 23.00 stilte en om 00.00 gaan de slagbomen dicht ivm overlast van evt auto's. Helaas hebben wij tot in de zeer late (of als je het anders bekijkt) zeer vroege uurtjes toch behoorlijk hinder ondervonden van asociale jongeren die al schreeuwend naar hun tent liepen en auto's waarvan de bestuurders dachten dat ze op een racebaan zaten.
Het kleine toiletgebouw was prima, mits mensen deze netjes achter zouden laten als ze klaar waren met poepen. Geregeld lag de poep nog in de pot en lagen de besmeurde wc papiertjes op de grond. (Hoe zou het er bij die mensen thuis uitzien vraag ik mij dan af)

Also wie die guten Bewertungen hier zu Stande gekommen sind ist mir schleierhaft. Der Campingplatz ist total verwahrlost. Das Sanitärgebäude war ja mal das ekligste, welches ich je gesehen hab. Tägliche Reinigung? Da wurde ewig nicht geputzt. Auch die Rezeption bzw. das Restaurant... hier soll man sich wohl anmelden. Nur weiß man nicht wo. Keine Infos in der Reservierungsbestätigung. Kein Mitarbeiter irgendwo zu finden. Das Restaurant beinhaltet mitten im Raum einen Tisch mit Drucker und Büromüll. Das soll dann wohl die Rezeption sein. Im Restaurant stehen überall noch schmutzige Gläser oder Kaffeetassen von Gästen herum. Als wären vor mehreren Tagen alle einfach abgehauen und hätten den Platz komplett seinem Schicksal überlassen.
Der Platz selber hat einen kleinen Wasserhahn für 8 Plätze . Strom auch viel zu weit weg. Zwischendurch zieht immer ein fauliger Geruch vorbei. Dieser Platz ist völlig überteuert und nicht einmal das Wildlands Angebot macht das wieder tragbar. Eine Nacht und nie wieder.

Ik vond het een leuk vakantiepark. Wij zijn er een dagje geweest. En hebben er erg genoten.

We just got home after a 10-night stay and would like to share our experiences here.
Unfortunately, it’s not close to the beach—it’s quite a walk from the campsite through the dunes. It’s a matter of opinion!
Furthermore, we were parked next to a site where 11 people were staying for a week—with a trailer, awning, tent, and pavilion.
Unfortunately, they were very loud, and it was unpleasant even to walk past them, which you inevitably had to do to get to the washhouse.
Security patrolled the grounds in the evenings between 7 and 9 p.m. We would have liked them to make a round after 11 p.m. as well. When we brought this up, security just shrugged.
Neither the app nor the official notices listed an emergency number for security. There was only a brief note stating that you could reach someone via the intercom at the gate. This isn’t true—no one answered.
Talking to these people/neighbors about it was out of the question, since they were entertaining themselves with profanity and belching. People were smoking weed and drinking alcohol on the plot multiple times—and right near the playground. Unfortunately, security didn’t notice.
Furthermore, the washhouse was actually OK; the showers and toilets were cleaned twice a day. Unfortunately, the sink area wasn’t cleaned, but the trash can was emptied. There were also cobwebs in our area, and the dust on them suggested they’d been there for quite some time. The showerheads are getting old, and the water sprays all over the place—it was almost impossible to get out with dry hair because the water was spraying in every direction. There were no hair dryers installed, and this wasn’t mentioned on the app either. The towel dispenser was refilled each time, but that only lasted a few hours. The hot water also ran out one evening, and there was a sense of helplessness among the campers since there was no phone number to contact; we had to hope the maintenance person would be available the next day. The reception desk and restaurant had already closed for the day.
The snack shop was moved into the restaurant due to staffing issues. There, our daughter was turned away when she tried to order some fries to go. They said it was too busy, even though only four tables were occupied. I don’t need to go into detail about how a young teenager might feel about that. That kind of thing is completely unacceptable. The restaurant is closed from Tuesday through Thursday. A food truck came on Tuesday, but on Wednesday and Thursday there was no way to get a meal on-site without leaving the resort
The shop was open every day during the listed hours, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
All children’s activities were canceled due to a staff shortage. You could really feel the frustration and boredom of the whole group of kids on the playground in the evenings. There was nothing for young teens to do anyway. But: the Wi-Fi worked well.
When we arrived, we had to clean up broken glass and cigarette butts from our site ourselves, and we didn’t see anyone checking the sites. The grass is just trimmed, and the clippings are left lying around, so the awning and trailer were always dirty because of it.
The hook in the dog shower is about to fall off, and you can’t securely tie your dog there—though there was a top-notch showerhead with a long hose.
We couldn’t use the washing machines because they were constantly running, even at night; there was no chance to get a turn on them.
The paths are full of big bumps; we often saw and experienced children falling because of them and adults tripping over them.
You can tell there’s a staff shortage.

The worst campground I’ve ever stayed at in France—and I’ve stayed at a lot of them over the past 40 years!
The staff was rude; they asked me to pay the deposit in cash—which is unthinkable in 2026—and told me I hadn’t paid for my mobile home—even though, for the reservation to be valid, full payment is required one month in advance, and the envelope with our name on it was already prepared.
The misleading website advertises a “water park with a hot tub” (which I’m still looking for—just a small pool and a few lounge chairs...) and a nonexistent grocery store (which is actually just two shelves of a few items at the front desk).
The mobile home itself is nice, thankfully, though one downside is the shower, which doesn’t hold hot water for more than 3 minutes.
The snack bar is only open in the late afternoon—that way they save on staff....
In short, I’ll stay here once, but not twice! Too bad—I visit the area often. I’ll go back to Airbnb.

A fantastic vacation at a beautiful resort! Stay and accommodations
We first spent two weeks on vacation in a comfortable cottage for 6 people. Since we enjoyed it so much, we spontaneously decided to stay a little longer. Luckily, there was still space available in a 4-person villa. The transition went smoothly: we were able to stay in our old cottage until noon and move straight into the new villa. The park is very clean, and the staff at the front desk are always friendly and helpful.

Great entertainment and swimming

The entertainment team is truly amazing! They’re always there for the kids. Huge respect for these employees, who, in addition to providing entertainment, also take on other tasks around the park, such as working in the restaurants and the shop. There’s plenty of variety for kids up to about 13 years old. The absolute highlight of the vacation was the shows of *The Lion King* and *Moulin Rouge*. It was my 4-year-old daughter’s first musical experience. Very exciting, but she watched the entire 90 minutes breathlessly and captivated. That’s when you know the team is really doing something right! The indoor pool is fun, but when the weather’s nice, I definitely prefer the swimming lake. On hot days, there’s plenty of shade here thanks to the trees. My daughter loved the raft in the middle of the water and didn’t even mention the indoor pool’s slide afterward

. Food and the surroundings
The park restaurant has a great menu with delicious pizzas. Are you looking for truly local dishes like “zoervleisj”? Then I recommend the Hertog Jan Proeverij. It’s also a fantastic spot for kids. For a delicious ice cream, you should definitely stop by Clevers in the village.The surrounding area offers wonderful cycling and hiking along the Maas River or through the Maasduinen. For more active outings, I recommend mini-golf at De Bosrand (followed by a delicious pancake) and a day at Toverland. This amusement park is a great outing for young and old alike. In the summer, they’re open until 8:00 p.m., and you’ll definitely need that much time to see everything! In short: a clean environment, friendly staff, and plenty of activities for all ages. We’ll definitely be coming back here again.
