Camping Terme CatezCampground large and well kept. The sanitary facilities are not the best. The price is fair for what it offers, counting that 2 adults have free entrance to the spa park. The restaurant could be better, better to eat in your camper.

Camping Village CavallinoAll in all, it was okay, but definitely not again. We paid €1400 for a bungalow, which I think is an extremely high price. All in all, the bungalow was fine. The door jammed and could only be closed if you kicked it at the bottom or slammed it hard. The drains are probably connected, if one person showers and the other washes up, the water doesn't drain anywhere and it takes about 30 minutes before it slowly starts to drain. You actually have to bring toilet paper, Zewa and tea towels. Bed linen can be booked on site, for an extra charge of course. You have to set the air conditioning correctly, it broke down on our first night and thankfully my husband knows a bit about it. The lady at check-in took ages to calculate the extra charge, let alone the beach loungers (25*4). The good thing was that we were allowed into our bungalow earlier than stated. Officially, you can "move in" between 5 and 8 pm. We were allowed in as early as 11am and for once at no extra charge. The walk to the beach was a bit too long for my taste, 12 minutes on foot. The food was really nothing special, almost like the delivery service at home. We then found a restaurant a bit off the beaten track (Susy) which was very tasty. There is a small store on the campsite, but it is extremely overpriced. There is a Lidl 2.6km away which has very reasonable prices. Of course, the stall here is also crowded with people wanting to sell scarves, bracelets or sunglasses. The mosquitoes are an absolute plague, from 8 p.m. you are eaten up, 40 bites within 10 minutes... The incense spirals that you can buy on site are pretty good and keep many mosquitoes away. You can travel very well from there to Venice/Murano or Burano, about half an hour by ferry and the price is perfectly fine. We traveled to Venice and it is absolutely recommended 15€ per person for a return trip.

Alles in allem wars okay, aber definitiv nicht noch einmal. Wir haben für einen Bungalow 1400€ gezahlt, was, wie ich finde ein äußerst stolzer Preis ist. Der Bungalow war alles in allem in Ordnung. Die Tür hat geklemmt und ließ sich nur schließen, wenn man unten dagegen getreten oder sie heftig zugeknallt hat. Die Abflüsse sind wohl verbunden, wenn einer duscht und der andere abwäscht, fließt das Wasser nirgendwo mehr ab und es dauert ca 30 Minuten bevor es langsam anfängt abzufließen. Man muss eigentlich Toilettenpapier, Zewa und Geschirrhandtücher mitbringen. Bettwäsche kann man vor Ort dazu buchen, natürlich gegen Aufpreis. Die Klimaanlage muss man richtig einstellen, bei uns ist sie in der ersten Nacht ausgefallen und Gott sei Dank kennt mein Mann sich ein bisschen damit aus. Die Dame am Check in hat eine Ewigkeit gebraucht um den Aufpreis zu berechnen, geschweige denn die Strandliegen (25*4). Gut war, wir durften früher in unseren Bungalow als angegeben. Offiziell kann man zwischen 17 und 20 Uhr "einziehen". Wir konnten bereits um 11 Uhr rein und das ausnahmsweise ohne Aufpreis. Der Weg zum Strand war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu lang 12 Minuten Fußweg. Das Essen war wirklich nichts besonderes, fast wie beim Lieferdienst Zuhause. Wir haben dann ein Restaurant etwas abseits gefunden (Susy) das war sehr lecker. Es gibt einen kleinen Laden auf dem Campingplatz, aber der ist extrem überteuert. 2,6km entfernt ist ein Lidl der sehr vernünftige Preise hat. Natürlich ist auch hier der Stand überlaufen mit Leuten, die Tücher, Armbänder oder Sonnenbrillen verkaufen wollen. Die Mücken sind eine absolute Plage, ab 20 Uhr wird man aufgefressen, innerhalb von 10 Minuten 40 Stiche... Die Räucher Spiralen, die man vor Ort kaufen kann sind ziemlich gut und halten viele Mücken fern. Man kann von dort sehr gut nach Venedig/murano oder burano reisen, ca eine halbe Stunde mit der Fähre und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Nach Venedig sind wir gefahren und ist absolut zu empfehlen 15€p.P. für Hin- und Rückreise.
