Very friendly and available staff, varied activities, very well exposed swimming pool big enough for everyone, beautiful forest setting, nice terrace for a drink above the lake. Perfect stay and impeccable huttopia site.

We rented a tiny house (Wood Lodge) here for a week. The online reservation, communication, payment and processing went extremely well. The check-in went very well on the day of arrival. We received a friendly welcome, the team spoke German and we were even able to move into our little house half an hour earlier. The tiny house was very clean and nicely furnished. Nothing was missing inside. Unfortunately, there was no table and chairs on the terrace, which meant we couldn't eat outside. When we complained to reception, they told us to bring the garden table and chairs from the neighboring house ourselves. Well, service is different, but we would have done that if there had been one there. Well, we didn't have a table on the terrace and it was too annoying for us to complain about it again. Apart from that, the house was really great! However, we only liked the whole complex moderately, because the pool, the playground and some other areas looked a bit unkempt. We could see that garbage (drinks cans, straws, handkerchiefs, etc.) had been lying around for 3 to 4 days without being collected. The catering area (outside) also looked a bit undecorated and careless - the team, on the other hand, was always very attentive and friendly. The advertised bowling alley was still not in operation during our stay and the water slide on the beach section was also not in operation (overgrown and probably not played on for ages). The pool water was quite cold and is only really fun when the weather is really hot. However, it wasn't the resort itself that was decisive for our booking, but the really fantastic location. You're right on the Rhederlaagse Meren, you can take the pedestrian and cycle ferry across the IJssel and then you're right in Rheden and the Veluwezoom National Park, where one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Netherlands awaits visitors. The idyllic Hanseatic city of Doesburg and the provincial capital of Arnhem are also just a stone's throw away.

For us cycle tourers who normally camp in a tent, the bivouac on stilts was fantastic. We booked it due to an approaching thunderstorm and it was warm and dry. .loved the bread delivery in the morning. Toilets and showers clean. A nice bar nearby. Only negative was the hatch door slammed shut a couple of times, and when I told manager she dismissed me. It could have been dangerous 😳

Spent a week with you our family of three children (6-8-12). Campground was mostly full of tents in addition to glamping. Caravans struggled with the steep slope and uneven sites. This added to the friendliness of the campsite. Piano concert and cinema provisional in the forest. Otherwise very quiet. Lots of children. Swimming pool was dated but sufficient. Just like the plumbing.

Recreational camping many things to do for children

We spent a weekend there with the motorhome The weather was very bad (pouring rain) but we were miraculously able to reach our campsite with the camper. The activity leaders are very nice and do great activities. They give a very warm welcome with sweets and drinks. I advise you to choose as activity multiqport by making handicap and metre with madisson and Mathilde (because they are very strong in hand).
