Die Lage und der Platz für uns top!!!!Das Personal auch echt nett!!!!!ABER... die Toiletten sind mehr als ekelhaft...Aber da geb Ich den Gästen mit schuld dran.Kann man hinterher nicht sauber machen wenn man sein Geschäft erledigt hat????????Sind solche zuhause auch so dreckig????Und der Müll auf dem Platz der überall rum liegt.

Really great campground—we arrived in a RV
. We stayed here for 2 days; the site was spacious, and the restrooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The surrounding area is perfect for biking.
We’ll definitely be coming back to this campground.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms leaves a lot to be desired; it seems they’re cleaned only once a day, so if you go in at night, you might find all sorts of things. We understand it’s not a hotel, but cleanliness is an essential service that should be included with the three stars they have.
On the positive side, I’d mention the friendliness of the staff and the fact that the place is very nice.

Neat campground, beautiful location. Nice, clean pool. The sites seem smaller than described; there are barely a few meters between them and the neighbors across the way. No place to dry your hands near the restrooms. Beer that had expired 5 months ago was taken back but not replaced, and we were still charged for it. Although there were still plenty of points left on the Sepkey card, the front desk employee claimed it had been “completely used up.”
The restaurant is open on a limited basis, with a limited menu, and is much more expensive than any other restaurant in Valkenburg. We won’t be coming back.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with Bungalow 4B.
The resort itself is in a really beautiful location, quiet, and both the beach and the supermarket are within easy walking distance. At first glance, the accommodation also makes a really nice and modern impression.

Unfortunately, upon closer inspection, its condition didn’t live up to that impression at all. Cleanliness was a major issue for us: it seemed as though only the bed had been freshly made—and even the bed linens had stains. The floor was dirty, the windows were heavily smudged, and some of the kitchenware was still noticeably dirty. Especially in a vacation rental, that’s simply a no-go.

Unfortunately, the extra baby bed we rented wasn’t really in perfect condition either, which is of course particularly frustrating with a small child.

Another major drawback is that there’s no air conditioning. The bungalow got extremely hot, and temperatures in the bedrooms sometimes reached 33 degrees. Getting a restful night’s sleep was practically impossible.

All in all, it’s really a shame, especially since the complex isn’t that old and actually looks quite impressive. Unfortunately, the beautiful location and modern design couldn’t make up for the lack of cleanliness and the heat inside the accommodation.

Beautiful setting, top-notch staff

The perfect base for exploring the Ardechoise and all other hiking and/or biking adventures in the Ardèche. A friendly family runs this beautiful, peaceful campground. The option to dine at the campground restaurant in the evening makes it a top glamping spot in the Ardèche. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. See you next time.

A pleasant, intimate campground with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere, thanks in large part to Aymeric, the manager. Special thanks to Fabrice for his helpfulness, and to Emilie and Ludivine for their professionalism and attention to detail. A great team that we look forward to seeing again.

There are few activities for kids, and when there is something, you find out about it by chance. Besides, the only entertainment they have is a slide and a swing.
The rooms are fine overall (well-equipped, though we missed having a toaster and napkins), but there’s so much light coming in that it’s hard to rest. It’s also very hot during the day, even with the AC on, and cold at night, since the cabin walls don’t seem to insulate very well.
The staff was very friendly—especially María—but the cleaning was just superficial; they don’t make the bed, and our trash can was overflowing. There’s only one dishwasher tablet, and there’s no TV either.
There isn’t a small shop or anything like that to buy snacks either; there’s a little something at the front desk, but not much.
The restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and doesn’t serve breakfast. The à la carte prices are a bit high since they’re individual dishes, whereas the set menu (€23) includes two small portions, a drink, and dessert—which you’re not supposed to share—so you end up throwing food away or asking for a takeout container to take it home. They could lower the price and reduce the portion sizes as well.
The location is good, close to the town and its beaches.
