MarkermeerFine chalet but bedrooms are on the cramped side. We have the misfortune that the chalet is located along a very busy road so all day and night traffic noise can be heard inside. Location is great on the Markermeer.

Prima chalet maar slaapkamers zijn aan de krappe kant. Wij hebben de pech dat het chalet langs een zeer drukke weg ligt waardoor de hele dag en nacht verkeer geluid binnen te horen is. Locatie is dan wel weer prima gelegen aan het Markermeer.

Cosy Cabins in the forrest of LimburgGood:||- Very friendly and committed staff, who want things to run smoothly (sounds obvious, but is anything but). ||- The stay is a handsome experience in itself. ||- The organization is more thoughtful and structured than you would suspect on hand. ||- Many collection points for wood, regularly emptied central waste containers, good signage, convenient extra parking lots for loading and unloading, cart at each cottage, stock of wood on arrival, brilliant firelighters. ||- We suspect that the park is evolving; that they started with very basic cabins with no electricity, possibly hot water. At the request of the customers, they have systematically added comfort items (electricity, lighting, refrigerator, electric heating in the bathroom, ...), which makes you wonder whether the park wants to focus on adventurers or hipsters, on the other hand, some things are just strange (socket just above your head in bed, other socket high on the wall instead of low, sometimes strange placement of light switches, ...). ||- We understand that bringing the luggage to cabins is logistically, hr- and experientially a lot easier to implement than retrieving the luggage to the car (at departure), but from a customer point of view this seems strange. Seems valuable to us to explain the internal logic behind that decision in advance to customers. ||- There is no mention anywhere of what to do with your green waste, nor with the leftovers from your stove|||- The matches from the welcome bag, are so cheaply made, that they are expensive to use (you have to use about 5 of them before one burns long enough to effectively light your kindling). ||Warredal is definitely worth it, provided the right expectations and in the right season (we can imagine that in summer it must be unbearably hot in the cabins). The smallest cabin (Sweet Cabin) is really for trekkers; people who can really travel light and look around with very little space. In itself, the park seems all right to us.

Goed:||- Zeer vriendelijk en betrokken personeel, dat wilt dat de zaken goed lopen (klinkt vanzelfsprekend, maar is het allesbehalve). ||- Het verblijf is een knappe ervaring op zich. ||- De organisatie is meer doordacht en gestructureerd dan je op voor hand zou vermoeden. ||- Veel ophaalpunten voor hout, regelmatig geleegde centrale afvalcontainers, goede bewegwijzering, handige extra parkings voor in- en uitladen, kar aan elk huisje, voorraad hout bij aankomst, schitterende aanmaakblokjes. ||Bedenkingen:||- We vermoeden dat het park in evolutie is; dat men is gestart met heel basic hutjes met geen elektriciteit, mogelijks warm water. Op vraag van de klanten heeft men dan stelselmatig comfortitems toegevoegd (elektriciteit, verlichting, koelkastje, elektrische verwarming in de badkamer, …), waardoor je je enerzijds afvraagt of het park zich nu wilt richten op avonturiers of op hipsters, anderzijds zijn sommige zaken gewoon vreemd (stopcontact net boven je hoofd in bed, ander stopcontact hoog op de muur i.p.v. laag, soms vreemde plaatsing lichtknoppen, …). ||- We begrijpen dat het brengen van de bagage naar hutjes logistiek-, hr- en belevingsgewijs een stuk eenvoudiger te implementeren valt dan het ophalen van de bagage naar de auto (bij vertrek), maar vanuit klantenstandpunt komt dit vreemd over. Lijkt ons waardevol om de interne logica achter die beslissing op voorhand uit te leggen aan de klanten. ||- Er wordt nergens vermeld wat je moet doen met je groenafval, noch met de resten uit je stoof||- De lucifer uit het welkomst zakje, zijn zo goedkoop gemaakt, dat ze in gebruik duur zijn (je moet er een stuk of 5 gebruiken alvorens er één voldoende lang blijft branden om effectief je aanmaakblokje te kunnen aansteken). |||Warredal is zeker de moeite waard, mits de juiste verwachtingen en in het juiste seizoen (we kunnen ons inbeelden dat het in de zomer ondraaglijk warm moet zijn in de hutjes). De kleinste hut (Sweet Cabin) is echt voor trekkers; mensen die werkelijk licht kunnen reizen en omkijken met heel weinig plaats. Op zich lijkt het park ons alleszins wel goed bezig.

Het huisje was goed, de faciliteiten iets minder. Het zwembad was gehorig en zwaar van de chloorlucht. Wil je hier geen gebruik van maken, dan is dit een prima locatie
