À short visit but amazing location and facilities. The staff are sooooooo helpful and patient given the rudeness of some customers who we saw them deal with. The young couple managers appeared to be everywhere. We were at the pool and they were dealing with something. We visited the restaurant and Mitch I think was his name, was sorting out an issue with the coffee machine. Then off to another guest issue. So hard working. His partner Anna I seem to recall was so polite. I think she was Spanish but she spoke perfect English and French. We had a small issue with our reservation but she was superb and sorted out the administrative error very quickly. So impressed with them both. The fresh pizzas are amazing, not the cheapest you'll buy but the quality of the ingredients is quite easy to taste. As an ex hôtelier I have a pretty good idea of what's involved in the hospitality industry and I hope that this team and especially the managers Mitch and Anna (I hope the names are correct) are acknowledged by the owners of the campsite. I can't recommend this camp site more than saying that I wish I could give more than 5*.

Arrived today July 30, 2025, first impression was good. Neat accommodations, and tidy environment. Store has a very limited selection. The restaurant was 😥😥😥.

Beautiful location but we were not happy there. Small sites so you are very close to the neighbors and their noises. Plumbing -especially the building upstairs- is to cry about. Reported several times but nothing was done. In my opinion it is not sufficient for the number of places. It was full and within no time the toilet paper was out and everything was dirty and smelly. At least 1.5 days a clogged pot full.... And not even a bill on the relevant door. 5 days of cold showers... Heated pool was nice, playing fields were fun. Adjacent forest was top for dog walks. Animate was moderate.

Super cozy campsite with a huge playground for the kids! The prices in the kiosk are affordable - the restaurant is really nice, but I think it's just crazy enough to pay 50-60 kroner for a small tray of round fries :)

Great location But the prices you pay are not in proportion to the facilities offered. Do rent a piece of grass for 6 people, but then every day a row for toilet building, shower, dishwasher because there is only 1 of everything ... That's really not possible.

Nice campground to explore the area. Spacious pitches. We were allowed to choose our own spot for our caravan. The pitches have electricity and some also water. Staff at the reception is very friendly. You can order bread the day before and it will be delivered to your pitch. Sanitary facilities are clean but the number of showers is few compared to the number of washrooms. There is a different food truck at the campground every day.

Nice cottages with air conditioning and infrared heating, location is nice on creek with bridge where you can walk in quiet wooded area. Restaurant next to park is also good food.

Nice campground for a few days, close to the Teufelsschlucht where you can do beautiful hiking, climbing and clambering. And a half hour drive from Trier where you can have a great afternoon. The campsite is very busy and everything and everyone is mixed together. The cleaning round of the plumbing starts somewhere between 08:30 and 09:00 🤷🏻‍♂️ incomprehensible time if you ask me.

Camping good, spacious places Outdated sanitary building

Super clean campsite, I stayed in the tunnel tent with my daughter. The service was great, nice staff, WC, shower clean. Close to the beach, to the town of Winterswjik and to Seving Mühle with restaurant and nice play facilities for the kids incl. indoor playground (chargeable, not outside) absolutely TOP.

In itself a fine campground for a few days. We were here for 2 weeks during the summer vacations. The campsite has clearly not been done enough in recent years. Old sanitary facilities, old reception/shop and a site layout that is no longer appropriate for our time (no water/electricity on the spots and bare fields without hedges, plants for decoration or playgrounds). Minuses: - The biggest downside is the plumbing, which is dated and poorly maintained. If people complain about cold showers, this is solved by sticking a leaf on the door of the sanitary with the text: the showers may be cold, apologies for this". - The campsite exudes little charm. Plus points: - The location is very nice, on a hill and close to the center of Virton. The town is fully equipped, including a Lidl, Action and even a Zeeman. - The animation team is top notch for the children. - The pool is simple and small, but sufficient for cooling off.

Nice cozy campground .Everything available for campers. Lots of hiking and biking possible in a wooded area. only I find the cost for a shower too high....
