Looks neat all around. Nice restaurant with good prices

My husband and I stayed three nights with our dog in a two-person house with sauna and hot tub. The arrival and departure went smoothly and contactless, so you are not tied to anyone. The houses are stylish and modernly furnished, and a small package with a small amount of dishwasher tabs, etc. is available in the kitchen on arrival. The town of Winterswijk is only 10 minutes away by car, so you can get to various stores quickly. The pictures when booking give a false impression of privacy. They show accommodation on the edge of the site, beds with bedspreads, bathrooms with plants - homely accommodation. Of course, not every accommodation can be on the edge of a forest or field, but the lack of privacy inside and outside the house was a bitter pill to swallow and led to disillusionment on arrival. The complex is still new and there are fences and hedges that still need to grow - but from the pictures on the website, I didn't expect my neighbors and I to be able to look into each other's living rooms and wave to each other while "relaxing" in the hot tub. I would have liked to have had the option of booking a house in a "better location" for a little extra or to have the choice at all when booking. Furthermore, there are no bag dispensers for dog waste on the premises, but that is already complaining at a high level. Unfortunately, my husband and I couldn't find any nice paths within walking distance that would be ideal for walking the dog. All around are paved country lanes with traffic, and dogs are often not allowed on the side streets. Other: Beds must be made up on arrival. Towels, bathrobe, soap and shower utensils are best brought from home.

From sign up to departure, fat fine. Wellness cottage was also fine, clean and everything you need. Restaurant also very good in terms of price, choice and taste. Getting French fries was a little less, was lukewarm to cold. This is well solved. But is also just too far from the cottages to take this walking.

Farmcamps... it's a thing these days. Although I lack a proper frame of reference, this one seems to have it all! Yes, also copious amounts of mosquitoes; It really pays off to go on a thorough murderhunt of the bastards with the electrical tennis racket, kindly provided, before going to sleep. Really, you should. Don't rely on your partner and 3 year old child to be sufficient decoy, they are relentless and come in great numbers. So don't think "I probably got most of them" because your body count equals Rambo's... At that point you're half way. I'm not kidding, you'd think there was a measles/chickenpox outbreak looking at the kid's faces. Good luck. As for the farm and the camp. The people running it are very social, warm, and welcoming. Besides the many kid friendly facilities they offer, they also organise and engage in fun, kid centered activities. Think of a tour of the farm, a search for creepy crawlers in the adjoining forest, pizza night, and Karaoke. Man, those karaoke battles were great. Also I petted a massive swine. We had a great time and would gladly return, were it not that we are now curious about other Farmcamps. Either way the bar is set and likely very high.

Location and campsite are wonderful, can only be recommended, clean sanitary facilities, here you like to come back, thank you very much

I spent half a week on this site with my motorhome. I am absolutely thrilled and can only give it full stars. When I arrived, I was allowed to walk around the site once to get a picture and choose a pitch, which is of course only possible in the low season. I hadn't made a reservation beforehand. Even then I was overwhelmed by the size and spaciousness. The pitches blend harmoniously into the wooded terrain and are all huge. So you have enough space from your neighbors. In the one wooded area in between, children can play to their heart's content next to the playground. There are sunny and shady spots. There are plenty of sanitary facilities, at least there are smaller units in between, so nobody has to walk far. Everything is very clean and, which is not a matter of course, there is toilet paper as well as hand soap and paper towels. Hairdryers are also available in the large buildings. Wifi is only available in the reception area and you should pay attention to cell phone reception when choosing your pitch if this is important to you. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I didn't use the pool, but you can also use it in October as it's covered and heated to 25 degrees. Various small gates lead directly into the forest and the magnificent nature reserve. I will definitely be back

We stayed at this campsite in the spring with a child and a dog. We cannot recommend this campsite if you have a dog with you. The dog is allowed NOWHERE. There is a dog run with a bathing area for the four-legged friends, but that's it. The dog is not allowed on the restaurant terrace, not in the indoor area at the reception (where the ice cream shop is also located - so buying ice cream with a child and dog is not possible). He is also not allowed on the asphalted paths of the sports and play park. There is a very large beach area around the bathing lake, but there is still no space for dogs. Dogs welcome means something else to us, in our opinion dogs are only allowed or tolerated here. Sanitary facilities are not clean. Neither is the swimming pool. We will not be back.

We were in a tree house! Great! And we can heartily recommend the restaurant: we did not expect such quality at a vacation park.

We were down there as a men's gang (without any problems) for a week and were pleasantly surprised. Many German providers can take a leaf out of their book when it comes to the service from the operator and the staff. And most importantly, nobody really gets on your nerves. Very suitable and recommended for families/kids. Ai collaboratori Grazie mille per I pochi Giorni che abbiamo potuto trascorrere von voi. Ci rivedremo promesso😉
