Reception reception underwhelming, not friendly and forgot to enter the license plate of the car beforehand. Only to enter the wrong number again. This left us waiting in vain at the barrier with a long line of impatient campers behind us. Problem with license plate recognition and barrier not opening continued all week. Except on day of departure |BAS bar and grill (Kompas camping) really not ok, been here 3 times at a not busy moment, 2 times no service after +/- 15 minutes of waiting even after reporting this to the 'counter'. Stayed on the part of the Kompas camping at partner 'Kustpark' ( Best Camp). First impression, well maintained (clean) park, new sanitary block = OK. Mobile home Tamaris 6 persons. Outdated, seat cushions kitchen , door technical room in bad condition. A parasol but no parasol base, broken garden chair. Smoke detector provided but missing. Door caravan sometimes difficult and once impossible to open. Most of the problems were corrected by the administrators = OK

Liked: Shady large generous pitch, good water and lovely toilets with music. Excellent flambé pizza evening with music at the campsite bar and lovely bread and pastries to order for each morning. A brilliant overnight stay when en route into Germany. Useful email with pitch number and barrier code before arrival. Disliked: Low bollards around the site which might catch a car or side of caravan

Liked: We only stayed for one night as a stop over, but will definitely be back. Lovely park set in a rural atmosphere, staff couldn't have been any friendlier or more helpful. Lovely onsite restaurant, food was amazing. Good value for money. The facilities are fantastic – hot showers, and plenty of space. Good pitch size. Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Great pitch, lots of space and privacy around us. Good shade from trees, great view of mountains. Fabulous pool and small bar/resturant. Very friendly. Felt very safe, could leave camper open with any worries. Very tranquil setting. Good showers and toilets. Good supermarket and bread shop next door with every thing you need at very reasonable prices. Will definitely go again. Disliked: If in a camper, additional transport would be recommended. We had our electric bikes. It’s about 2 miles to nearest village/town.

Hospitality is super.||Beautiful Safari tent from the campground with everything you need in addition to the fantastic facilities of the campground itself.|even with our own camping equipment, the spot was spacious, green, sunny and plenty of shade too.|Thanks for these wonderful weeks to the staff and family.

Super nice facility with a unique atmosphere. Really by far the nicest team and the man who runs the children's and sports program puts his heart and soul into it and you can feel that. Cooling off in the stream is my personal highlight. Varied program and an absolute recommendation for all nature lovers 👍👍👍👍

Luxurious homestays. Our project group had a pleasant stay at this place. The service and cleanliness were on the spot. Would highly recommend this place for vacation or team outs.
