Laundry was drama. Works by inserting a very specific amount of euro coins. Got these by asking for the tip jar. After at reception i got sent away when the bar asked me to go there. Receptionist acted like it was a me-problem. The whole camping relied on one washing machine. That's not glamourous at all. Staff at bar and restaurant saved Service from being 1 star

Large campsite, where the mobile homes are quite close together. The advantage is that the campground is right by the sea. Disadvantage: the entertainment shows that go on until late, even after midnight. It is impossible to sit quietly outside in the evening or go to sleep. Unfortunately, there was no other mobile home available for us, further away from the noise. Water park is fun for children and the animation team makes sure everyone has a good time. You have to pay extra for many things (bedding, wifi, air conditioning, deck chairs at the pool and beach), we knew that in advance, but does not come across as very friendly. Wifi was not available in our mobile home.

The final situation with the lack of willingness to invoice for one's stay (despite prior information) decided the assessment. Staff shows no willingness or response to the situation. No respect for the customer. I do not recommend !!!

Stayed with the motorhome, great pitch, sanitary facilities always clean and friendly staff. Already booked again for next year.

Very nice campsite. Beautiful swimming pool (a little too "small" when the campsite is full). Good restaurant in the campsite, with a small mini-market. The people who run the mini-market are very pleasant. The only downside is that the wifi isn't very good when you move away from the pool and restaurant. The rate is still 15€ per week...

Excellent reception and family management attentive and thorough to the needs of young and old alike.

Nice campground. Rknde fields where everyone looks at center. Sometimes there is forestation there so you don't have a view from the other side. Lovely swimming water. Nice sanitary building in the center. Last year for naturists unfortunately.

We only stayed on a pitch for one day, but the welcome was fantastic. At last, a campsite like we like them: natural, family atmosphere, very clean (sanitary facilities, toilets, paths, etc.). Incredible breakfast served with a smile. One of the best sites of our Périgord trip. The Belgians at Defender. Thanks David

We recently had a stay at this campsite and would like to share our experience. Unfortunately, the site did not quite live up to the expectations raised by the website. First of all, there was a lack of basic hygiene items in the wash houses, such as toilet paper, soap and disposable towels for drying off. The promised bread roll service was also not available. The nearest bakery was 2.7 km away and the nearest supermarket was 11 km away, which was a major inconvenience for us. The later check-in went smoothly, but the swimming pool was closed and we found no information about whether swimming in the river was allowed. There were no English descriptions on the website or in the campsite, so we had difficulty finding our way around. We couldn't find the garbage disposal or discover other important facilities. Another problem arose at check-out. Communicating in English proved to be a challenge. After a brief misunderstanding regarding the term "pain" (French for bread), I was finally able to clarify that I had paid a deposit and now wanted to settle the outstanding amount. It was disappointing that I was asked about my lack of knowledge of French, while I did not comment on the employee's knowledge of English. On a positive note, the restaurant greeted us warmly and served us in a friendly manner. Although the food was reminiscent of fast food, it was lovingly prepared and tasted good. Overall, our stay was marred by the lack of facilities and information. We hope that the campsite will improve these aspects in the future to provide guests with a more enjoyable stay.
