Camping BraunlageWe were passing through and therefore only staying at the campsite for one night. Our pitch was level, had an electricity connection and was quite far away from the sanitary building. There was a water tap nearby. The site is laid out in terraces. The site is still under construction. The sanitary building has been modernized. The toilets are not separated from the showers. Coins, cards or similar are not required. A bread roll service is offered to the vehicle in the morning. The baked goods must be pre-ordered in the evening. The bread rolls were from the local bakery and were very tasty. The restaurant on site is small and clearly getting on in years. Our meals were very tasty and simple, but sufficient for us. We found the manager very friendly. The area around the campsite has unfortunately been badly affected by climate change and the associated forest dieback. The town of Braunlage can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes and offers some nice stores and restaurants.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und daher für lediglich eine Nacht auf dem Campingplatz. Unser Platz war eben, verfügte über einen Stromanschluss und war recht weit vom Sanitärgebäude entfernt. Ein Wasserhahn war in der Nähe. Der Platz ist terrassenförmig angelegt. Der Platz wirkt noch im Aufbau. Das Sanitärgebäude ist modernisiert. Die Toiletten sind nicht von den Duschen getrennt. Münzen, Karten o.ä. sind nicht erforderlich. Am Morgen wird ein Brötchenservice ans Fahrzeug angeboten. Die Backwaren müssen am Abend vorbestellt werden. Die Brötchen waren vom ortsansässigen Bäcker und waren sehr lecker. Das Restaurant auf dem Platz ist klein und deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Unsere Gerichte waren sehr schmackhaft und übersichtlich, für uns jedoch ausreichend. Die Betreiberin haben wir sehr freundlich erlebt. Die Gegend um den Campingplatz herum, ist leider stark vom Klimawandel und dem verbundenen Waldsterben betroffen. Das Städtchen Braunlage ist fußläufig in ca 25 Minuten zu erreichen und bietet einige nette Geschäfte und Gastronomie.

Prachtige natuurcamping met uitzonderlijk mooie kampeerplaatsen.Grote vogel populatie. Ijsvogels,uilen en andere vogelsoorten.De rivier de Vecht maakt de camping compleet. Zeer visrijk water. Omgeving ideaal voor fietsliefhebbers. Kortom camping de Roos een aanrader.
