Very nice place.small but nice.nice friendly operator.spacious plots. Simply beautiful and quiet

Perfect stay, pleasant welcome. The only downside was that the pool areas were not supervised at all, which made teenage jumping and diving a real pain. The lagoon is top-notch! And the spa area (sauna and jacuzzi). On the other hand, the bar-supermarket-restaurant doesn't live up to the campsite's standards, with a cheap decor that looks like it's from the 90s, and a deplorable welcome from the head waitress in the evening. As a result, we always dined or lunched outside, where the food on offer is of good quality, without going very far.

Liked: The facilities were spectacular. We only stayed for a night since we went to the Vilar de Mouros festival so we couldn't enjoy everything. The toilets were super cleaned and we had a change to test the kitchen and had coffee with the owners.

I liked: A small and quiet campsite just 10 minutes drive from Vila Nova de Cerveira.

What you would do again forever. Organized clean and everything wonderful. Boat trips can be arranged nearby with lunch on board. You would never want to return to everyday life, you don't need to go to the Maldives to see then such a sea

We booked the campsite at the last minute. The campsite is large, the pool is great too, and the tent pitch is decent. Perhaps it would be a good idea for the entertainers to wear a campsite T-shirt for greater visibility. Opposite the campsite is the Water Glisse water park, which the kids really enjoyed.

Great view, great lake, everything clean, there is little to complain about. ||Unfortunately no CEE sockets or adapters, but these are available in the next town or you just have them with you

We stayed at Birkelt Village for 5 nights, June 29th - July 4th.||This was our first 'Eurocamp' holiday and we booked to stay in a Premium Azure Holiday Home.||The site itself, operated by Hu and not Eurocamp, was fine, well maintained etc. It was with our accommodation that the issues arose. Supposedly staying in 'premium' accommodation, our home (site no320) was visually very run down and we were definitely surprised as we were expecting similar to what is pictured on the Eurocamp website. This was something that could be looked past but its internal condition was not. The smell of damp in the interior was overwhelming and it was present on almost every surface on the homes interior (see the pictures). My wife and I are not pretentious but when travelling with 2 young children this is not acceptable accommodation, it was genuinely unfit for human habitation.||When we asked to be moved to an alternative accommodation, the Eurocamp staff told us there was none available, and that we would have to stay put for the duration of our holiday! Unwilling to put ourselves and more importantly our children at the risk of getting ill, we enquired at the HU desk regarding availability amongst their homes and were thankfully able to move out of 320. We had to subsequently pay for this accommodation alongside our uninhabitable Eurocamp accommodation however which was not ideal.||As I have stated in the title of this review, the 2 other companies on this site, HU and Roan, provide significantly better quality accommodation than Eurocamp. I cannot stress this enough, if you wish to visit this site, DO NOT BOOK WITH EUROCAMP, their accommodation is old, outdated and damp!||Over a month removed from our holiday, we have only in the last few weeks received feedback from Eurocamp regarding our complaints. Having paid over £500 for our stay, Eurocamp, whilst acknowledging that they are providing substandard accommodation at this location and that they were unable to provide us with an alternative, state that company policy dictates that they can only offer a refund up to a maximum of £250 🤯||I feel the pictures attached say it all. Eurocamp are aware they are providing uninhabitable accommodation at this site and as a result are knowingly allowing their customers to pay for a service which will likely contribute to them experiencing miserable holidays that could possibly cause illness. ||My advice would be if you have booked a Eurocamp holiday here or indeed anywhere, contact them now and ask for actual time stamped pictures showing the current state of the inside and outside of their accommodation and not trust the stock ones from their website. We were told our home was 9 years old and as it was structurally in a really poor state, this might be something worth asking also.||This is an honest appraisal of what happened to us staying with Eurocamp at Birkelt Village and if we can prevent it happening to others, at least something good will come out of this experience.

Neat campsite, well organized. Complaint about water nuisance on the pitch was adequately responded to by the TD even though they could not fix it. Defect of the chlorine dosage in the indoor pool which caused 5 ! grandchildren to come to the caravan coughing and coughing and with very painful red eyes. Reported to reception who immediately closed the indoor pool. Big mistake but good response . Will definitely come back.

Super nice big campsite ! spacious places for campers , very clean sanitary facilities ! Separate shower and toilet for men women and a separate children's area, Nice big and clean pool ! Just really super! | Recommended for anyone who travels by motorhome

Liked: We was close to the toilets, and could let the kids play on the park freely. Tent pitches are clearly marked Decent location for things to do Disliked: Sand pit very dirty the kids feet was black We wasn’t a fan of the shared toilets The pitch was loud - lots of road voice and sounded like a monkey forest in the morning If you are on a tent pitch you are far away from the main part The toilets seemed to get very dirty towards the end of the night
