Camping De La ValléeBeautiful campsite right on the banks of the Ourthe River. Nice view. The train is far away and we did not hear it. It is quiet there. Many Dutch translations. Toilet building was clean. Food at the campsite was okay. On terrace you can enjoy a drink. Along the campsite is a bike path. Great campsite to explore the Ardennes.

Mooie camping direct aan de oever van de Ourthe. Mooi uitzicht. De trein is ver weg en hoorden wij niet. Het is er rustig. Veel Nederlandstalingen. Toilet gebouw was schoon. Eten op de camping was okay. Op terras kan je gezellig een drankje doen. Langs camping ligt een fietspad. Prima camping om de Ardennen te verkennen.

Ackerlodges Ruinerwold BVAttractive cottages with balconies and really beautiful views. Cottages are small but practical and very fully equipped. We had a family weekend and the large bungalow as a focal point, which is also cozy and fully equipped.

Sfeervolle huisjes met balkon en echt een prachtig uitzicht. Huisjes zijn klein maar praktisch en zeer compleet ingericht. Wij hadden een familieweekend en de grote bungalow als centraal punt, die is ook gezellig en compleet uitgerust.

De ScherpenhofThe bungalow was ok, so was the big playground outside. But indoor playground and pool shows a lot of overdue maintenance. Is a bit like time stood still for 20 years (or more).... fire safety is questionable, fire reels have not been inspected for 4 years and some even have a sticker rejected. In short: not a recommendation to go.

De bungalow was ok, de grote speeltuin buiten ook. Maar binnenspeeltuin en zwembad vertoont heel veel achterstallig onderhoud. Is een beetje alsof de tijd 20 jaar (of meer) heeft stilgestaan... brandveiligheid is twijfelachtig, brandhaspels zijn al 4 jaar niet gekeurd en een aantal hebben zelfs een sticker afgekeurd. Kortom: geen aanbeveling om heen te gaan.
