Very nice campsite with super friendly staff. Always friendly and available with help and advice, very nice, clean sanitary facilities. Very child and dog friendly. Although we were there without our dog and child in the last week before the season, the pool and stores were already closed, we thought the campsite was great. Lots of play opportunities for kids and a beautiful pond to enjoy nature. We would love to come back.

The welcome, the cleanliness of the site and the accommodation, the suggestions for walks including the one on the Joute balconies, and the pizzas from the café comptoir! all made this end-of-season weekend an unforgettable one, thanks to the whole team.

We have been coming here again and again for many years. The staff have always been very helpful and the location is just perfect. This year we had a mobile home instead of a tent and also loved it - the terrace was a dream! At first we had reservations about switching to Baia. But we didn't notice any deterioration. The restaurant on the campsite has improved a lot! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Campsite with a great sea view, good sanitary facilities, play and rental facilities and a nice bar area.

All in all, a very nice stay in the fall.

Liked: Small site a short distance away from a nice town. Reasonable sized pitches with very clean facilities. No cars allowed on site and they have to park outside. Excellent wifi. Disliked: We found it slightly unusual that to access the site in or out by camper van , you had to locate the warden. All hot water for showers and washing up was an additional cost but overall cost very reasonable so can’t complain.

To be honest, I booked here before reading the reviews & was apprehensive as some were not favourable. However, I need not have worried, we had a lovely weels stay here in our caravan on a hard/ grass pitch, fully serviced. We stayed after the school holidays had ended so it was quiet, few children on site 7 only at weekends. It was busy but quiet, calm & peaceful. The pitches were well maintained, the site was clean, the facilities clean 7 of a very good standard. We stayed on the side for touring campers, so away from the lake, which we preferred. The staff were very friendly. A great location for visiting, Bruges, Ostend & Ghent. We would happily stay here again.

Liked: Excellent facilities, very clean toilet and shower facilities, plenty for young and older children to do, beautifully peaceful location, great pitches, some with fantastic private bathrooms on the pitch- very clean , spacious and heated. Very good restaurant and bar area with great outdoor seating area and good food and very friendly and helpful staff made you feel very welcome. Overall excellent location for exploring the beautiful and interesting Arnhem area. Disliked: Maybe the only thing to make it even better would be a better hard standing area for the caravan or campervan to sit on just to avoid paddling as much sand into the van.

Although this was the last week they were open, the campsite staff made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely pitch, just one row from the waters edge, and at a really good rate. Would definitely recommend joining the acsi scheme, especially if you are travelling out of season.|The medieval town of Beaulieu sur Dordogne is a must see, being very easy to access from the site. There is a pedestrian gate which takes you out to the weir, from which you can walk left to the old circular city, or right to the boatwright's quarter, where the gabarre where made.|On a damp Monday, at the end of the season, we found an amazing creperie in the old town near the cathedral - Le beau lieu Bretton, where we had a gorgeous lunch. The proprietor spoke good English and was very attentive. The food was excellent and the restaurant was full of locals - they also opened in the evening. Afterwards the proprietor gave us tips on where to visit. A very friendly place to stay

Liked: Great location and close to beautiful Delft and nice walks. Good transport links to visit Amsterdam,Gouda etc via a reliable bus service outside the site. good comfort pitches and peaceful pitches Great customer service at reception and good restaurant and bar. We had a lovely home made pizza. We had an issue with electricity which was resolved promptly by staff. Disliked: Nothing
