Superb location, facilities are good

Nice campsite and large. I wouldn't say cheap as they know how to drive every coin out of people's pockets and they are smart by only wanting cash and then have 2 ATMs at the reception that charge 18% in fees.

I've been here for the 18th time since 2005 and have "actually" always been very satisfied. However, I don't understand why there is still no electricity there after the new extension of the waiting area (even for a possible additional charge), as it would make things much easier for many people waiting. In addition, the camping area still has miserable internet coverage, which does not correspond to the rest of the standard. Furthermore, regulations such as the e-scooter ban should be reconsidered, this is no longer up to date! Otherwise, a lot has changed in 20 years, fortunately most of it positively. VG the Kaufi

Beautiful experience, EXCEPTIONAL animation,my two little girls really enjoyed all the activities,they were never bored! Particular praise for CAMILA (team leader) passionate about her work,engaging sunny and friendly and very careful to include even the most wary and shy!Kudos indeed! Very clean premises,friendly and prepared staff. We stayed in XXL pitch overlooking the lake, cool and breezy in the evening, perhaps would need more shade during the day but still overall almost perfect. Highly recommended!!!

Our experience at EuroParcs vacation park - unfortunately disappointing We booked a vacation home at EuroParcs as a family with high expectations - after all, it wasn't cheap. Unfortunately, this anticipation was dampened in many places. Cleanliness & condition of the house: a real minus point The first impression of the house was anything but convincing. There was sand everywhere, both in the room and in the toilet, which simply hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. This is really unacceptable for a vacation home costing several thousand euros. The furniture had also seen better days: The couch was so saggy and worn out that you could hardly sit comfortably on it. The cushions simply no longer fit - comfortable is definitely different. Playground disappointment & lack of restaurant The advertised indoor playground is actually a small corner in the park's only restaurant. Of the 12 or so pieces of play equipment, 8 (!) or more are definitely chargeable, which I think is just cheeky with children. The restaurant itself is completely closed on Tuesdays - when it is not possible to eat or use the indoor playground. Hidden additional costs - especially air conditioning Another annoyance: air conditioning is advertised, but on site it suddenly costs an extra 10 euros per day - with an already expensive house price! I think such things should be included in the rental price. Bicycles also cost the right amount: 15 euros per day for a normal bike, 25 euros for an e-bike. That's quite steep. Outdoor playgrounds: Loveless & dangerous The two outdoor playgrounds are very outdated and seem to be poorly maintained. Several screws are sticking out dangerously, many things are squeaking - a lot could be done here with minimal effort. As it is, it simply looks loveless and uninviting for children. Reception & service - could be improved Reception closes at 5 pm. If you arrive later or need something (e.g. bed linen or air conditioning), you are left looking stupid. Better service is urgently needed here, especially in high season. Swimming pool: Nice, but open for far too short a time What really stands out positively, however, is the swimming pool in the park! It is modern, very clean and well maintained. We really had fun here and felt at ease - it was actually a real highlight of our stay. One major drawback, however, is that the swimming pool closes at 4:45 pm. This is a real shame, especially with children, as a large part of the afternoon and evening remains unplanned and you simply no longer have the opportunity to swim with the children in the afternoon. Entertainment: Great magician, but far too short A positive highlight was the magician with his balloon tricks, who performed several times during our stay and really thrilled the children. Unfortunately, an hour of magic was announced each time, but sometimes the show ended after just 25 minutes. We found this disappointing, especially when you go there with the children and are looking forward to a longer program. The positives: Surroundings & beach Fair enough: The location itself is really nice, you can be at the great, wide sandy beach in 15-20 minutes by bike (a whole 18 km long!). The region offers many excursion options, but unfortunately many things in and around the park are also subject to a charge. Conclusion: No recommendation The bottom line is that we won't be booking with EuroParcs again. Especially as a family that travels frequently, we would have expected more - in terms of cleanliness, service and value for money. It's a shame, because with a little more attention to detail and less "ripping off" for small things, the park could actually be great. The swimming pool is really great, but the opening times are a bad joke. Praise also to the magician - the time was nice, but unfortunately too short. The overall package is not enough for us.

It was simply great from A-Z! Incredibly friendly, very dedicated owners and staff, everything was very clean, just great. And I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. Both our children suffer from coeliac disease, and the chef advised us directly and listed lots of options! A dream! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

A great week at Huttopia Vallée du Lot. Very pleasant setting, great entertainment, great pool, charming team that listens to everyone.
