We stayed at the campsite with our caravan and dog for a weekend. And I have to say, anytime again with pleasure! Super clean, quiet, dog-friendly and tidy campsite. We booked a category D pitch, so with water and waste water on site. There are great walking paths in the area and plenty of hiking trails for long walks with the dog. Showers were absolutely clean at all times. The WLAN was more than sufficient at all times for mobile working. Sufficient shopping facilities in Brilon. 10 minutes drive by car, everything within reach. Absolute recommendation! We will gladly come back.

A very nice campsite in a beautiful location in Gasselte. The campground is beautifully situated in the woods with beautiful fields. The pitches are separated by a hedge, which gives a lot of privacy. Each field has a small playground, which is wonderful for the children. At the reception there is a large playground where the children can play. Nice climbing or in the water. Also at the reception there is a very small restaurant area, where you can sit and have a nice meal. Take away is also an option. The cleaning of the sanitary facilities could be better in my experience and also I personally find a disadvantage that you are not allowed to have the car on your own place, but have to put it on a central parking lot. Finally, the wifi is way below par. You have half an hour of free wifi per day, after that you have to pay for it. If you pay for it, you get a bad connection too! This is really out of date! If you make guests pay for it, the wifi should be stable and fast. Camping or not... All in all, despite the wet weather we had a wonderful weekend here and we, but also our children of 1.5 and 4 had a great time!

Lovely semi-shaded pitch for tent, caravan and camper. Very pleasant and attentive staff. Very clean. Next to an exceptional site.

A great welcome, lots of entertainment, a nice setting, we really had a great stay.

Nice, small campground. We stayed only one night. A fine transit campground, but also nice for several nights. Playground and petting zoo available. And a nice cool swimming pool. Close to Mont Saint Michel. Plumbing is somewhat outdated.

Liked: Everything is outstanding and a must is the restaurant. Will definitely be back and stay longer. Without doubt the best site we have stayed on. Disliked: Nothing.

With the tent. Despite the weather the kids had a good time themselves. Super service, nice staff, helpful at reception,,delicious food for a good price. Top pool. And everything Super clean. Shower toilet 10+ for this campsite.

We have just returned from a lovely 2 week holiday at this site, the weather not perfect but still enjoyed it.|If you are looking for a site that has pristine lawns this is not the site for you. It is full of French nature, lots of trees on the site to offer a lot of shade, that does impact the chance to sun bath near the caravan.|Some reviews I feel do not reflect well on the site teams, we found them friendly, helpful and very professional. |The Bar and restaurant serve lovely food, that is made more enjoyable by having a great bar manager, Malik who was extremely helpful, couldn’t do enough for us just made the times we visited the bar most enjoyable and reasonably priced. My dog so loved the man made beach and lake to swim in every day, the site is very dog friendly.|Totally recommend this site if you are looking for a rested, relaxing holiday.|Well done Les bois du Bardelet teams, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. Keep up the great work.

Liked: Restaurant was good, simple menu but tasty and good value. Wash facilities simple but clean and fine. Disliked: Pitches had suffered from flooding so limited choices. Site seemed a little tired and could do with some TLC

What a great experience! This was a team away day with work colleagues and I will be booking to come with my family next. A truly beautiful location where you can appreciate the silence around you. Although it was glamping it had so many luxuries I did not expect like a hot shower. The space inside was great and the sleeping arrangements are very well thought out. I know my children would love the bed in the cupboard! There is a pizza oven near the children's play area with full instructions on how to use it so even a novice can do it. There are plenty of candles available though I would still recommend bringing a torch. Lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend it for all occasions whether it is work, family or bringing friends together to drink by the fire.

The perfect place for an awayday - exceptional hosts, lovely accommodation, cooking on the fire and amazing views (and night skies) - what is not to like ? ||We and the team love it here, we will be back.. ||the tents provided comfortable accommodation and workspace for a meeting for 12 people. Plus the miles of walks for reflection and discussions made a great change from Webex / Zoom and stuffy offices !
