Camping PolariA really beautiful and well-maintained site! 5 stars for cleanliness, everything extremely well maintained, new sanitary facilities, nothing broken etc. However, one star deduction for the really hefty prices. The whole place is a kind of park where you have to pay extra for everything: trampoline, pool loungers etc. all cost extra. It's also not very quiet at night, with mopeds rattling along the streets until late at night. It was super loud in the 1st row by the sea. In my opinion, the seats are not worth the money. It's like sitting on a platter on the beach promenade and it's always busy. In the back rows there are lots of nice places with plenty of shade and trees, which we really liked. The beach is stony everywhere, but beautiful and once again very clean.

Ein wirklich schöner und top gepflegter Platz! 5 Sterne für die Sauberkeit, alles extrem gepflegt, Sanitäranlagen neu, nichts defekt etc. Ein Stern Abzug jedoch für die echt heftigen Preise. Der ganze Platz ist eine Art Park in dem man dann aber alles noch einmal extra zahlt: Trampolin, Poolliegen etc. kosten alles noch einmal Aufpreis. Zudem ist es tatsächlich nicht sehr ruhig nachts, auf den Strassen knattern bis tief in die Nacht die Mopeds. Super laut war es 1. Reihe am Meer. Die Plätze sind das viele Geld aus meiner Sicht gar nicht wert. Man sitzt quasi wie auf dem Präsentierteller an der Strandpromenade und es ist Dauerbetrieb. In den hinteren Reihen gibt es viele schöne Plätze mit sehr viel Schatten und Bäumen was uns super gefallen hat. Strand überall steinig, aber schön und auch hier alles wieder sehr sauber.

The showers give 5 min of water with no temperature control. The toilet paper regularly ran out and there are no paper towels or blower so everyone comes out with wet hands. Also, the toilet cleaning machine was defective so you had to go to a building further away with your toilet. From a 5 star campground you should really expect a little more.

Helaas is onze ervaring wat teleurstellend door de relatief kleine camperplaatsen die bovendien erg dicht op elkaar staan. Door de regen was het erg modderig. De douches geven 5 min water waarbij de temperatuur niet te regelen is. Het toiletpapier was regelmatig op en er zijn geen papieren handdoekjes of blazer waardoor iedereen met natte handen naar buiten komt. Ook was het toiletreinigingsapparaat defect waardoor je naar een verderop gelegen gebouw moest met je toilet. Van een 5 sterren camping mag je echt wat meer verwachten.

Camping MerendellaWe stayed in a tent for two weeks, and the pitch is absolutely impractical! A pétanque pitch would be more practical, but we folded about twenty sardines, as the pitch is filled with pebbles. Speaking of the pétanque pitch, it's not maintained, with bumps everywhere and some garbage. Then there are the parties! A disaster! The organization clearly needs to be overhauled, and special thanks go to "Dj Séb". I don't know where you found him, but I doubt he's really a DJ. So-called "beach party" evenings where he plays songs from the 80s for 2h30, and for young people ALWAYS the SAME sound! It was pitiful and embarrassing. If you're 20, don't come to this campsite, it's a bore! The "toilets" are very small, to get to the REAL toilets you have to go to reception, which is a long way away... so the ones we had for two weeks... So clean! Horrible! Cleaning must be done at least every 5 hours, given how clean they are. The bar is very expensive! Pool too small. Rare positive points : Calm and serenity A top-notch team of entertainers - given the catastrophic evenings, they're very patient and cool with everyone. Plenty of deckchairs for sunbathing. A beautiful landscape to my taste. And no restrictive rules that prevented us from living our lives. To conclude, the hygiene needs to be reviewed, the parties need to be reviewed, and the DJ needs to be fired! Prices too high. But if you came to Merendella, you'd be in a paradise of calm and serenity, with the sea right in front of you and the fish. It was still cool, but... I would have liked to have had a bit more fun at the parties.

Nous avons séjourner en tente, durant deux semaines, le terrain n'est absolument pas pratique ! Un terrain de pétanque serais plus pratiquable, nous avons plié une vingtaine de sardines, car le terrain est remblais de cailloux. En parlant du terrain de pétanque, celui ci n'est pas entretenu, des bosses de partout et certains déchets. Ensuite les soirées ! Une catastrophe ! Une organisation clairement a revoir, et speciale dédicace a " Dj Séb " je ne sais pas où vous l'avez trouver celui là, mais je doute qu'il soit réellement DJ. Des soirées soit disant " Beach party " ou il nous met pendant 2h30 des chansons des années 80, et pour les jeunes TOUJOURS le MEME son ! C'était pitoyable et gênant. Si vous avez 20 ans, ne venez pas dans ce camping, c'est d'un ennui ! Les "sanitaires" sont tout petits, pour aller au VRAI sanitaires il faut aller vers l'accueil , c'est loin... donc ceux qu'on a eu pendant deux semaines... D'une propretée ! Horrible ! Le ménage dois être fait au moins toutes les 5h vu la propretée de ces derniers. Le bar est super cher ! Piscine trop petite. Les rare points positifs : Calme et sérénité Une équipe d'animateur au top, vu les soirées catastrophiques, ils sont très patient et cool avec tout le monde. Pas mal de transats a disposition pour bronzé. Un beau paysage à mon goût. Et aucune règle contraignantes qui nous a empêcher de vivre nôtre vie. Pour conclure, une hygiène à revoir, les soirées à revoir, le DJ, viré le ! Les prix trop chère. Mais si vous venez a Merendella, vous serais au paradis du calme et de la sérénité, avec la mer juste en face, des poissons. C'était quand même cool mais bon... j'aurais apprécié m'amuser un peu plus aux soirées.

Auf KengertNice quiet campsite with very friendly and helpful people! Clean plumbing, plenty of play areas for the kids. Lovely adjacent forest for hiking or mountain biking. Our spot was not the nicest, just tight enough and on the 'main road'. Dining facilities were fine and on some days a food truck comes. Entertainment is mentioned but that's just some craft hours, which is also fine but so don't expect too much of it :)

Fijne rustige camping met heel vriendelijk en behulpzame mensen! Schoon sanitair, genoeg speelgelegenheden voor de kids. Heerlijk aansluitend bos om te wandelen of te mountainbiken. Onze plek was niet de mooiste, net krap zat en aan de 'hoofdweg'. Eetgelegenheid was prima en op enkele dagen komt er een foodtruck. Er wordt animatie genoemd maar dat zijn slechts enkele knutseluurtjes, wat ook prima is maar verwacht er dus niet al te veel van :)

Expedition ArcheonNice day out at Archeon. Next time we will go earlier so we have more time to do things. One can definitely spend a whole day there. The food stalls were very nice and located everywhere around the park.

Camping Park UmagWe stayed in a mobile home "Park Riviera / 3 Bedrooms" from 19.07. to 02.08.2025. The location of the mobile home is almost perfect - quiet and only about 100 meters from the sea. Unfortunately, our first impression was very disappointing: the mobile home was handed over to us in a completely unclean state. The mattresses had urine and mildew stains, some of the fixtures and fittings were broken and the overall condition of the house was very run-down. After a discussion lasting around three hours, we were finally given a mobile home of equal value that had at least been cleaned - which should be a matter of course. The camp itself is huge. The pools can only be reached on foot by walking long distances, which can quickly become exhausting with children or in hot weather. In addition, a lot of guests drive through the camp on e-scooters - including small children. Almost everything on offer within the camp (supermarket, restaurants, leisure activities) is massively overpriced. An important note for people who are afraid of dogs: Leashes are apparently not consistently enforced. We repeatedly encountered dogs running loose - this can be very unpleasant for some guests. The sea access points are also an issue: these are extremely stony - bathing shoes are a must! Without them, it is almost impossible to get in and there is an increased risk of falling in the water. There are a few trees, but not enough to provide shade later in the day. You will look in vain for green areas, it is rather dry and barren. Important: I can only speak for our booking through the provider AdriaCamps - I cannot judge how the mobile homes of other providers are equipped and maintained. We expect much better quality for the high price. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right at all.

Wir waren vom 19.07. bis 02.08.2025 in einem Mobilheim „Park Riviera / 3 Bedrooms“ untergebracht. Die Lage des Mobilheims ist nahezu perfekt – ruhig gelegen und nur ca. 100 Meter vom Meer entfernt. Leider war unser erster Eindruck sehr enttäuschend: Das Mobilheim wurde uns in einem völlig ungereinigten Zustand übergeben. Die Matratzen wiesen Urin- und Stockflecken auf, das Inventar war teilweise defekt, und insgesamt war der Zustand des Hauses stark abgewohnt. Nach einer rund dreistündigen Diskussion erhielten wir schließlich ein gleichwertiges Mobilheim, das zumindest gereinigt war – was eigentlich selbstverständlich sein sollte. Das Camp selbst ist riesig. Die Pools sind fußläufig nur mit längeren Wegen erreichbar, was mit Kindern oder bei Hitze schnell anstrengend wird. Außerdem fahren sehr viele Gäste mit E-Scootern durch das Camp – darunter auch Kleinkinder. Innerhalb des Camps sind nahezu alle Angebote (Supermarkt, Gastronomie, Freizeitaktivitäten) massiv überteuert. Ein wichtiger Hinweis für Menschen mit Angst vor Hunden: Leinenpflicht wird offenbar nicht konsequent durchgesetzt. Immer wieder begegneten uns freilaufende Hunde – das kann für manche Gäste sehr unangenehm sein. Auch die Meereszugänge sind ein Thema: Diese sind extrem steinig – Badeschuhe sind ein Muss! Ohne sie ist der Einstieg kaum möglich und es besteht eine erhöhte Sturzgefahr im Wasser. Es gibt einige Bäume, aber nicht ausreichend um zu späterer Stund ein Schattenplatz zu finden. Grünflächen sucht man vergebens, es ist eher trocken und karg. Wichtig: Ich kann nur für unsere Buchung über den Anbieter AdriaCamps sprechen – wie die Mobilheime anderer Anbieter ausgestattet und gepflegt sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Für den hohen Preis erwarten wir deutlich mehr Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus unserer Sicht überhaupt nicht.

Camping Domaine du LogisThe staff is very friendly. Well informed at the reception desk. The pitches are clearly defined by hedges. Water taps on the pitches. The plots are spacious and flat. Pity that little maintenance was done to the sanitary facilities. The water was sometimes warm, but rather on the lukewarm side. There is a possibility to wash and dry, but when an appliance broke, you don't know when it will be repaired. This is pernicious in a high season. Nicely cared for and heated pool. Only dangerous corner when coming out of the building to the campsite entrance and exit. Perhaps a fence or post could be placed here for the safety of the children. The restaurant is highly recommended. Entertainment is plentiful. Nice that you have almost no noise from the animation due to clever placement of the buildings.

Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Goed geïnformeerd aan het onthaal. De plaatsen zijn duidelijk afgebakend door hagen. Watertappunten op de plaatsen. De percelen zijn ruim en vlak. Jammer dat er weinig onderhoud aan het sanitair werd gedaan. Het water was soms warm,maar eerder aan de lauwe kant. Er is een mogelijkheid tot wassen en drogen, maar wanneer er een toestel stuk ging, weet je niet wanneer dit hersteld wordt. Dit is nefast in een hoogseizoen. Mooi verzorgd en verwarmd zwembad. Enkel gevaarlijke hoek bij het buitenkomen van het gebouw naar de op- en afrit van de camping. Misschien kan hier een hek of paal geplaatst worden voor de veiligheid van de kinderen. Het restaurant is een aanrader. Animatie is er voldoende aanwezig. Fijn dat je bijna geen geluid hebt van de animatie door het slim inzetten van de gebouwen.

Huttopia RambouilletUpon arrival, the service and communication was just top notch. Which has also been my experience at other Huttopia. But after arriving at my spot I immediately decided. I cannot stand here for a week. The pitch was a big mud pit. Other pitches were also really bad. It was said that they were full. And that there were really no options. I invited them to come with me to the pitch. It was suggested to go to another Huttopia location that was not fully booked. My response then was to speak to the site manager. He didn't come and was there. Later I was suddenly offered another place by walkie-talkie. After I insisted on going with me to look at the place. That other spot was a lot better. But still not really optimal. If I were the manager I would really advise investing in soil improvement and water management at the spots. Because just band-aiding with loads of pebbles is not sustainable or a long-term solution to this problem. Furthermore, I found the hygiene and maintenance really far below the expected level. HUTTOPIA HQ PLEASE GO CHECK THIS OUT! THIS IS REALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE! It is much outdated. But also just poorly maintained or repaired. For example, a rusty old rental refrigerator delivered filthy. And parts missing is just poop at a pretty high price per day. But also shower heads flying everywhere, toilet paper holders that keep getting stuck and as a user no way to open it, poorly repaired locks, at least 3 days ladies trash cans not emptied. Totally calcified rooms. If anyone came to clean it wasn't nearly thorough enough. And now I think it is no longer possible for the staff. I would throw a high pressure cleaner through the place. But also besides hygiene, just empty toilet paper very often. A very dirty muddy mess on the wooden decking all around. Spray that off sometime. Some days there were no lights. Brushing teeth in the dark. Also very annoying. AND HERE YOU PAY QUITE HEFTY FOR. THEN THIS REALLY CAN NOT. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR THINGS TOGETHER.... RAMBOUILLET I WILL DEFINITELY SKIP. HUTTOPIA GETS ANOTHER CHANCE BECAUSE NORMANDY WAS REALLY GREAT THIS SAME YEAR. As a finale. Furthermore, the coffee was very dirty. Whereas in Normandy it was top notch. The bread and pizza were again better here. But in Normandy not bad. And the atmosphere and hygiene around the pool and restaurant was again very top. The animation was also again very nice. Another thing I noticed is that the playground was also very limited, and relatively rather boring.

Bij aankomst was de service en communicatie gewoon top. Wat ook mijn ervaring is geweest bij andere Huttopia. Maar nadat ik bij mijn plek aankwam besloot ik direct. Hier kan ik niet een week staan. De plek was een grote modder put. Andere pitches waren ook echt slecht. Er werdt gezegd dat ze vol waren. En dat er eigenlijk geen opties waren. Ik nodigde ze uit mee te gaan naar de plek. Er werdt geopperd naar een andere Huttopia locatie te gaan die niet volgeboekt was. Mijn reactie was toen dat ik de locatiemanager wilde spreken. Die kwam niet en was er wel. Want later werdt er via de portofoon opeens wel een andere plek aangeboden. Nadat ik had aangedrongen met me mee te gaan kijken op de plek. Die andere plek was een stuk beter. Maar nog steeds niet echt optimaal. Als ik de beheerder was zou ik echt adviseren om te investeren in bodemverbetering en water management op de plekken. Want enkel pleisters plakken met ladingen steentjes is niet duurzaam of een langdurige oplossing voor dit probleem. Verder vond ik de hygiene en het onderhoud echt ver beneden het te verwachten niveau. HUTTOPIA HQ GA HIER AUB EENS KIJKEN! DIT KAN ECHT NIET! Het is veel verouderd. Maar ook gewoon slecht onderhouden of gerepareerd. Bijvoorbeeld, een roestige oude huurkoelkast die smerig wordt geleverd. En onderdelen mist is gewoon kak voor een vrij hoge prijs per dag. Maar ook douchekoppen die overal heen vliegen, wc papier houders die steeds vast lopen en als gebruiker geen manier om hem open te maken, slecht gerepareerde sloten, zeker 3 dagen dames prullenbakken niet geleegd. Totaal verkalkte ruimtes. Als er al iemand kwam schoonmaken werdt het bij verre na niet grondig genoeg gedaan. En inmiddels is het denk ik ook geen doen meer voor de medewerkers. Ik zou een keer een hoge druk reiniger door de tent gooien. Maar ook naast hygiene, gewoon heel vaak leeg wc papier. Een hele smerige modderige bende op de houten vlonder rondom. Spuit dat eens af. Een paar dagen was er geen verlichting. Tandenpoetsen in het donker. Ook heel vervelend. EN HIER BETAAL JE BEST FORS VOOR. DAN KAN DIT ECHT NIET. ZORG DAT JE JE DINGEN VOOR ELKAAR HEBT.. RAMBOUILLET GA IK ZEKER OVERSLAAN. HUTTOPIA KRIJGT NOG EEN KANS OMDAT NORMANDIË DIT ZELFDE JAAR ECHT TOP WAS. Als afsluiter. Verder was de koffie erg smerig. Waar het in Normandië top was. Het brood en de pizza waren hier weer beter. Maar in Normandië niet slecht. En de sfeer en hygiene rond het zwembad en restaurant was ook weer erg top. De animatie was ook weer heel leuk. Wat me verder opviel is dat de speeltuin ook erg beperkt, en relatief nogal saai was.
