In early August we spent four fantastic days at Camping Um Bierg. The campground offers spacious sites and the showers are wonderful. If you are looking for a quiet, welcoming campsite with a perfect location for hiking and cultural tours, this is the ideal place

As welcoming as ever, the place is magnificent with plenty of choice. You'll need to book early to eat in, but otherwise it's a charming place with attentive staff.

Fabulous campsite. Have no understanding why it is 3.7. In 7 campsites we've been to this year. This is the best. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. They will speak French if you are trying to speak French but can speak perfect English if needed. Showers and toilets were always immaculate, signage everywhere, entertainment was a duet with chello and double bass. Alternative but quality. They Mail you before your stay with all the information you need. Whole campsite was beautifully kept. Only downside was no wifi. The ourdoor municipal pool next door Is available for use for free with the campsite but beware no swimming shorts only budgie smugglers (trunks). Toilets had both seats and toilet paper both of these things are a rare occurance on a 3 star campsite in France

Had wonderful days at this campground. Beautiful place by the river. The plumbing is old but clean. We had music 2 nights, very nice. Especially relaxed in the river. Nice outing with children? Google the Haribo museum.

Magnificent stay in Les petits Chalais, high up in the mountains.
The staff are top-notch, really friendly and accommodating.
The canoe trip down the river is a must, it's magical!

A very warm welcome and a very attentive team. We spent a night at the campsite with our 2 teenagers and really enjoyed the site, the facilities, the pool and the services. We recommend this campsite. Thank you very much!

Top surroundings But Park is drama Chosen because Dogs are welcome. At least we thought so. Within 30 min of arrival we already got a call. Dishwasher broken. And we thought we had a nice house. Can happen I thought. Unfortunately, the mechanic could only come Tuesday. We had booked sat-sat Tuesday, no technician. Contacted... they knew nothing. They went after it. He would come on Wednesday Fortunately he came that Wednesday and the dish brush could go into the cupboard. This is all doable . But here's the thing. Dogs are welcome. Das fine, we thought. Especially since we have an Assistance Dog to accompany our daughter. However, this park turned out to be a big disappointment. We went on day 2 to get some groceries at the Park Supermarket. It was quiet there, so we went inside. Of course our assistance dog was wearing her official blanket. But the store clerk immediately started yelling. There are no dogs allowed in the store. GET OUT! My daughter gathered all the courage she had. Sir, this is an Assistance Dog, you cannot refuse us. Whereupon Sir shouted loudly. I DON'T "NEED" ANY ASSISTANCE DOGS IN MY STORE EITHER. And I am allergic, sir spontaneously began to cough and cough extensively. We fled outside. My daughter had a panic attack And had to go on tranquilizing extra medication because of this incident. And as a result, she no longer dared to walk past the supermarket in question. We finished the week because the surroundings are beautiful and you can do your shopping somewhere else. But we will never go to this park again. Of course we made a report at the reception. So Assistance Dog Owners CAUTION !!! Oh yes, the beds, mattresses were drama If you are taller than 1.70. Then you lie trapped between 2 walls. And the mattresses are sagging. You lie in a pit. So after a night, turning and turning you come out of your bed crumpled.

Very good and welcoming campsite. Top entertainment Impeccable service, pleasant staff at the service of their customers. Several pools with slides. Plenty to visit in the surrounding area. Shops 10 minutes away in saint gilles de croix de vie.

We are just home from 7 days bivouac in a chalet with his 4 ! What was it clean and neat too bad there was no umbrella and no blinds on the bedroom! Furthermore, cozy campsite and a nice quiet spot! Too bad that the restaurant and reception was closed 2 days! But for the rest we enjoyed and nice swim. The beds were not good, much too low and much too hard so we had problems with our backs. Unfortunately, that was poor. After a very friendly welcome, we moved into our very small pitch. You can't say that we had too few overnight stays here. Much smaller caravans, even tents, were allocated much better and easier to find pitches. For us, this seemed to happen at random. The sanitary facilities remind me of soccer changing rooms in the 80s, maybe even the 90s, but at least superficially clean. The charm of times gone by remains. In my opinion, there are also far too few toilets (3). Tesa strips were obviously used in the showers to attach hooks. These have been torn off everywhere and are therefore no longer present. Private beach access: No "chips" received to open the gate to the "beach access". On request, this is because there are not enough chips available. We take the nearby lidos 10-25 minutes away. Especially because of the sanitary facilities, this place will no longer be an option for us! Two stars only for the nearby Wörthersee, the place itself deserves a maximum of one star. Too expensive for that! I deliberately refrain from taking photos here, I don't need any more.
