Perhaps for daddy camp we were not in the right place because we were greeted with rigidity and a slew of rules where silence and peace reigned, and having a group of kids run by just dads with the intention of relaxing and having a beer was not an easy thing to do. We had a bomb in our hands and hoped it wouldn't go off. Too strict for our taste but I understand that is their style. Bathrooms as clean as the whole campground and I think I had the best pizza on the Riviera. Spectacular sunrise and views.

Very nice well-kept vacation park, very nice staff, good facilities in the house. Playground, football pitch and swimming pool available. Unfortunately no more snack bar or restaurant in the park, probably not worth it, but Hoorn is just around the corner.

A great first experience at Huttopia! Beautiful surroundings and a friendly, efficient team. Great entertainment for the kids during the day and lovely evenings (cabaret, stargazing). Everything was perfect!

Cycling in NL is much more pleasant than in Germany. Here in Nijkirk, with EuroParcs as the starting point, you have many options. Bungalow CF8 was good, apart from the toilet. However, the houses vary. This one did not have a guest toilet. The shower was tiny. A necessary service was carried out immediately. The staff is nice and helpful. The internet description of the park is very precise. You can only access the site by car if you know the license plate number in advance. It would be good if the form for this was not only sent by email on the day of arrival. Saturday is an unfavorable arrival day. The reception is open until 5 pm, but the accommodation can only be occupied from 4 pm. It is better to plan to be there earlier. As usual, this is not a hotel. You make the beds yourself and keep the accommodation clean while you are here. There are good shopping facilities in the village 4 kilometers away.

Very nice village very cozy and very neat

We first stayed in 2018 & loved this wonderful site. And the second time round was just as enjoyable. Pitches are good sizes and the facilities are super, with clean, proper toilets seperate male & female. The pool is now heated which is welcome and there is a really great atmosphere on site. The kids (ages 12 & 10) kept busy on the (very challenging) mini golf, football pitch & ping pong tables. The Chateaux itself, although unused is beautiful & the grounds can be wandered at your leisure. The area has so much to do & in our 4 full days we visited Combourg, Dinan, St.Malo & did a superb coastal walk up near Cancale & the Point du Grouin. Would highly recommend!

Both the location and accommodation were perfect. The tent very cozy and fully equipped. Reception and communication welcoming and clear.

Beautiful location and the Trapper tents are roomy and in great condition. Even during the hottest summer days, the heat is very endurable, perhaps due to the lake. Water in the lake is clean and of great temperature for swimming. I especially liked that it is not too crowded. For example if you like to get a drink in the evening there usually is a spot free to sit. The food is my only point of critique; it's just not good. This counts for the pizza on the camping as well as the burgers at the beach.

Personally, you go to a campsite for safety, to avoid wild camping, and to have sanitary facilities next door rather than 1km from where you're camping. Then there are the pitches! Very large, certainly a good point if you want to be quiet, but to find it you have to go on a treasure hunt. Very poorly signposted, I found the number of my plot after 20 minutes of going round in circles. The numbers are painted on a piece of wood under the trees, 10 cm from the ground and illegible. Next time I'll go wild camping.

Great stay. Impeccable campsite, very competent team, very well organized activities.

We had a wonderful vacation and that is mainly.thanks to the animation and the lake. We had a 6 person caravan by the lake, with 10 steps the children were swimming in the lake. The caravan was very dated, the door of the refrigerator was broken so we miss storage space. In addition, the shower just became very hot or very cold. The caravan is very small as is the terrace. However, you still have a lot of land around it where you can sit. We were there with 2 adults and 3 children (8,8 and 10)
