An unplanned weekend that turned out to be a pleasant surprise—the kids loved it just as much as the adults did. The staff was very professional and friendly, and the setting was incredible, with little villages nearby. We’d do it again 100 times over.

Excellent campsite to explore the Camarque, Arles is within biking distance. Campsite is a bit of a "pit stop" for campers, so lots of coming and goings during the day. Great dining opps in the local village, 10 min walk. "Real" backery goods in the moring (no fake bake-off stuff, the real deal). Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The pitches are very rocky and full of stones, which was a bit of a bummer ... room for improvement.

The campground is in a very beautiful location by the lake. We had made a reservation for 3 nights and were assigned a site. Luckily, since there were still plenty of open spots, we were able to choose a different one. However, that one cost an additional 20 € (for 3 nights). Apart from the fact that the spot we chose was shaded by trees and perhaps a bit larger, I couldn’t tell the difference.

But what I found really annoying was that we couldn’t even buy a bottle of water. We arrived on a Sunday and had run out of water.
Since stores are also closed in France, we relied on the small shop at the campground.

Then there was the wine selection in the small shop... Not a single bottle under 20,-€.
A bit pricey for a campground, in my opinion.

We visited several campgrounds on our trip through France. All of them were in beautiful locations.
But we really didn’t find such poor service at a campground shop anywhere else.

So: always make sure to stock up on everything you need!

We stayed at this campground during a trip between Val d'Orcia and the coast, choosing glamping as a compromise between a tent and a bungalow. Overall, the vacation was enjoyable: the facility is well-maintained, the pools are beautiful, and the water slides—among the longest in Italy—were a big hit.
However, there are a few areas for improvement. The main issue concerns adherence to quiet hours: for two consecutive nights, some guests were very noisy late into the night, even going so far as to set off firecrackers. Despite reporting the issue, no action was taken. It was only later that we discovered there was a number to call in such cases—information that would have been helpful to receive at check-in. A security guard patrol after 11 p.m. would certainly be helpful.
Another issue concerns changing the sheets, which guests are expected to do themselves but this is not clearly indicated. Finally, at check-out, only English-speaking staff were present, to whom we reported these issues.
Overall, it was still a positive experience, and with more attention to these details, the property could easily deserve 5 stars.

A lovely campground with a really refreshing pool. With temperatures nearing 40 degrees, it was a welcome change. The campground and the service were good—we enjoyed our stay. Why 4 stars? The noise from the street was a bit much, especially at night. But for a short trip to Colmar: perfect.

What a wonderful campground within biking distance of Valkenburg (though it’s a bit of a pedal). There are lots of international guests and staff, which really adds to the vacation vibe. The restrooms were also very clean, despite the heat. Plus, there are delicious pizzas and a bread delivery service from the local bakery.
In short, highly recommended!

It’s located on a road between Malgrat de Mar and Blanes. You have to cross the road to get to the beach, which drops off quite steeply. It’s a sandy-gravel beach—water shoes are recommended. There’s a pool with a wading pool. The restrooms are cleaned regularly but aren’t always clean. There’s a restaurant and a place to buy snacks. The campsites are close together, and there are lots of dogs—so if you have a dog, it’s great, but if you don’t like constant barking, this place isn’t for you. We usually stop here when passing through. Internet isn’t free.

We stayed here whilst our motorhome was being repaired. We stayed in a tent, it was brilliant well serviced and enough accessories to life comfortably. All the staff were friendly, happy and full of fun. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

We spent the night on a site that seemed quiet enough, since the campground was practically empty during the off-season. Unfortunately, we were woken up at 3 a.m. by what appeared to be a group of campground employees sitting on the terrace of a neighboring lodge, talking loudly as if they were alone… Very pleasant…

Excellent value for the money:
The campsites aren’t very private; luckily, there were just two of us, but our sites were quite far apart.
The shower was scalding hot—there’s no way to adjust the water temperature, which isn’t ideal during a heat wave with kids.
The playground equipment isn’t suitable for young children (<5 years old).
The pool is showing its age and could use a little renovation.
