We enjoyed our stay at the yurt and really appreciate the concept and understand the place is in transition and requires some time to blossom. Some facilities are still rather dingy like the pool. Also the yurt was rather dirty from the outside but probably because we stayed at the end of the season. Inside it was great and really cozy. We got pizza’s however and when we saw them we took our sunglasses off and immediately were not happy. Price quality wise it is not realistic for a deepfrozen pizza base (honestly rock solid). Apparently they were out of mozzarella and added some different ‘cheese’ on it and my mozzarella loving friend was inconsolable. You shouldn’t charge 15€ for this pizza in my humble opinion. All in all we had a great stay. At first we were a little hesitant because we read a review about the smoothie guzzling new owner with a bun (😂) but we were really happy with our stay and we didn’t see any smoothie guzzling people on our trip. Love the plan and the concept and we would love to come back.

Mooie dagen gehad op Domaine la Barbe! Het is een prachtige en rustige plek met uitzicht over een super mooi meer. Leuk zwembad voor kinderen en gezellige dorpjes in de omgeving. De service van Femie en Albert is top.

Great place, nice, helpful owners, beautiful surroundings. Somewhat outdated, but always top clean sanitary facilities. Beach also suitable for children, boat and canoe rental, fishing opportunities and fresh bread rolls in the morning, as well as coffee and cake, but also small snacks (hamburgers are recommended) make a vacation here a true relaxation.

Erg leuke camping in de Vogezen en beheert door een vriendelijk en gastvrij Nederlands echtpaar. Bij aankomst krijg je een kopje koffie aangeboden, wat eigenlijk al genoeg zegt. Camping heeft 120 staplaatsen en verhuurt 20 stacaravans en 14 tenten en bungalowtenten. Stacaravans en tenten kun je ook via Vacansoleil huren. Bij de receptie kun je stokbrood bestellen. Er is een klein restaurant met een klein terras. Mooi sanitair en kleine speeltuin. Camping ligt aan de Lac des Messires en op de camping kun je gratis kano's lenen en er liggen verschillende ligbedden om het meer. Neem zelf een opblaasboot mee, want de kano's zijn snel bezet. Ook mag je in het meer zwemmen. Je kunt heerlijk rond het water lopen en als je geluk hebt kun je een bever spotten, want er leeft een bever paartje in het meer. Supermarkten in de buurt zijn Aldi, Lidl en Intermarché in Bruyères. Leuke bezienswaardigheden: Snoepfabrieken Confiserie des Hautes Vosges & La Confiserie Bressaude, Rodelbanen op rails Schlitte Mountain, d'été du Markstein, Luge sur rail Lautenbach en Luge 4 Saisons Le Bonhomme, Bootje huren op Lac de Gerardmer & Lac de Longemer, Stuwmeer Lac de Kruth Wildenstein, Watervallen van Tendon, Lac Blanc, Panoramaweg Route de Crêtes, Uitkijktoren Tour de l'Avison en hoogste punt Vogezen de Grand Ballon. Als je verder wilt rijden: Valkenier La Volerie des Aigles, Apenpark La Montagne des Singes en Vlindertuin Jardin des Papillons (deze 3 kun je ook samen combineren hebben wij ook gedaan). Deze camping willen we graag nog een keer bezoeken.

Midden in de natuur, en beseffen dat je met weinig echt heel tevreden kan zijn :) en de hottub was het kersje op de taart! :)

Nice park, nice and quiet, nice cottages and nice beds.

Beautiful view every day, we come as a mweilorkest tjonge jonge then also like to come here, already more than 15 years
