The park is in a beautiful location on the edge of National Park Dwingelerveld. It is a quiet park without noise. At night you only hear the tawny owls calling. The cottages are beautifully situated in the greenery. When you step out of the door you are immediately in the park and you can make endless walks or cycling. The park does not have many facilities (no restaurant oid) but does offer sandwich service and bike rental. Extra service (not included) is making beds and (bath) towels. Furniture was fine and modern. The cottage (104) was not as clean as I expected it to be based on the reviews. The cleaning there uses more of the French stroke. The cottage was full of spiders (webs) which I only removed some of myself. The beds did not look very clean, there were hairs in various places (bed, shower) and various crumbs from previous users in the cottage and I expected at least 1 toilet roll, it was not there. A snapshot; perhaps this is different in other cottages in the park.

After a warm welcome, we stayed with our camper for 3 nights at this charming (generation to generation) campground. Though dated, but that also gives character. The sanitary facilities are clean and the service is good. Only the greenery does require the necessary maintenance. We had a beautiful spot overlooking the beautiful lake, staying there was wonderfully quiet. We could supp here beautifully with our dog. In front of the campsite are a number of campers with permanent pitches, which unfortunately are not well maintained, and leave a dirty impression. Probably have been here for years. The owners of the campsite can unfortunately do little about this. The campground is managed by a very cordial family and they work hard to make everyone happy. Their hospitality and friendliness makes us definitely come back.

This had a potential to be a 5 star review but unfortunately it’s 3. 1 star - all facilities perfectly clean. Pitch we stayed nice but would benefit from gardening because full of weeds everywhere. 2 star - great beach all well maintained. 3 star - location nice and quiet. - 1 star service at the check in. There was an issue that we were allowed to drive down choosing the pitch we wanted. After we did that my wife went up to tell where we chose to stay. After she told the number apparently couple on the other desk chose the same place but I already unpacked everything and set up the camp. It was escalated to management because my wife said we are already unpacked and not going to leave the pitch. Manager insisted of coming out of the office dealing with situation said that she and the other couple need to sort it out themselves. It’s absolutely unacceptable attitude from management and they come across as lazy. - 1 star- restaurant changing the working hours and the information we where given that it’s working till 23:00 that was the same online. We arrived to the restaurant 22:35 and sat down. Waiter seeing that we sat down didn’t acknowledge us for 5min then I went inside to ask if they are working. They said to me that they work till 22:00 from today and that kitchen is closed at 21:30 and we can’t get food. It’s unacceptable because there is no information about kitchen opening hours anywhere and no information that the opening hours might change. So all together good campsite but management needs improvement and communication between customers and their opening hours needs improvement.

They are large pitches for camper, caravan and tent with electricity. Good shower and toilet facilities. Washing machines and dryer available and also for washing dishes a good space. The staff is friendly and speaks good English. Friday and Saturday there are delicious pizzas baked that you can take to your own place or eat there with a beer or other drink At a distance of 30 minutes to 40 minutes drive nice places to visit such as Honfleur. Highly recommended.

A nice campsite with pool and bar. Center is nearby, about 15 min walk downhill and uphill about 20 minutes.

With all my love !!! The campsite is in a great location but that's it! !! WATER PLACE unbelievable! Everything just runs over the pitch! ! MY shower water was cold! ONLY Dutchmen who were super cheeky and even wanted to behead our dog if he should bite because they run over our plot! WHICH ARE OF COURSE MORE EXPENSIVE AT THE WATER! AND NOW THEY HAVE STOLEN OUR E SCOTTER !!!

Ideal place to rest.

Beautiful surroundings, beautiful forest area, friendly staff. The bosspa is wonderful for relaxing. The mountainside on which the accommodations are located is not obvious for everyone to walk up and down each time. There was ambiguity on arrival about the restaurant offerings, but this was quickly cleared up. Given that we stayed there at the end of the season, there was a very limited supply in terms of meals.

This place has turned out great. We were here last year and were surprised how much has happened here... - new restaurant very modern - new beautiful pitches, some with their own bathroom on the plot -new beach road We are very impressed and are booking directly for next year 😊

Week spent here at the campsite with a motorhome: We had a great time, this was mainly because it was September and therefore super quiet. All facilities are much better then: swimming pool is large and clean, sanitary facilities are modern and clean, restaurant and store has good price-quality (cheap in our opinion even) and nice staff and the campsite looks very green. The plus-camping spots are really huge. Because it was quiet we could choose a nice green spot at the beginning of the campsite. The further back you go the less beautiful and more unsociable the campsite becomes. If you are here in high season I can imagine that the campsite is too crowded (which campsite is not). But in low season it is really top notch! Beach is 12 min walk, nice beach bar with beds for rent
