Beautiful, spacious campground near chateau. Spacious sites, friendly staff, heated pool. Small bar and restaurant. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Charming!

We were given a super friendly welcome by a girl (job student?) at the front desk, so that was top but that's all. Boss lady was a lot less hospitable. Appeared very surly (also towards the staff). Pitches with 0.0 privacy. Fairly small (which is not a problem for us), but no space is left between the pitches, so it felt like we had to share the piece of land with 2 other families. There was also an ENORMOUS amount of people. In my opinion, an overcrowded campground, when the capacity of the campground didn't really allow it. Toilet and showers were not clean. No hand soap at the toilets, so no one could wash their hands??? Showers were ICE cold and hardly any water came through the shower head. There were tufts of hair on the drain (not from 1 person), so the drain didn't work properly either. Terrible experience! In general, everything is also extremely outdated and in dire need of renovation (plumbing, pool, children's play area,...). We left home a day early because of the above reasons. We will not come back again!

A wonderful place to spend your vacation. Very suitable for families as there is both a private sandy beach and a pool. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and well equipped.

4 nights, family 4. Paid for bedding. Travelled from UK.|Bad points: no bedding on first night. Shower filthy. Basic, worn accommodation. Whole chalet in need of good clean. No toilet paper bring your own.|Plus points: issues raised with receptionist and promptly fixed. Have 2 boys so was happy accommodation was not top level as didn't have to be careful. Outdoor pool open till 8pm which was great fun. Karts available for kids to use. Bikes can be hired for daily charge. Launderette on site but I didn't use. Fresh bread and croissants delivered every morn, delicious. Small shop on site but has basics. Location is great for touring the area. Aldi is about 20min drive away. Beach is 10min drive. Ice cream van visits twice the wk we were there and very cheap and delicious flavours. On leaving you need to strip beds, brush chalet, empty bins, fridge and sink, not an issue. Would return to this park.

In July we spent a week at Europarcs Kohnenhof with 2 young children. It is really a beautiful, new park. That has a very nice location by the river and among the trees. Children can easily play in the river because of the low water. There is a current which makes it fun to play in the pools.|The accommodations are very nice, neat and new. Inside everything has been thought of: nice furnishings, neat bathroom and kitchen, air conditioning, good WiFi and a dishwasher. |Some cottages are a bit more to the back, or along the main road or closer to the neighbors. But you can check and choose that when booking. |The atmosphere at the park is friendly. Many people with young children in the summer. Camping guests are by the river and the cottages behind it. There are 2 nice playgrounds for young children and a soccer cage for teenagers. |There is an animation team in the summer who speak Dutch and have super fun activities! |The park has a great atmosphere.

The only advantage is that the campground has spacious camping spots. Furthermore, it is really not recommended. Only Dutch people, it's like Camp Holland. On the new section there is hardly any shade, very annoying when it is over 38 degrees. Until late in the evening over 40 screaming children in the playground, really a disaster. This noise continued until almost midnight. The pool is much too small for the number of people. There is no shallow area for small children and also no footbath so the water is very dirty. We quickly packed our things and left like hell. Never again for us!!!

Good campsite. Swimming pool with good beds, a small store and snack bar. Right on the corner of the campsite is a good restaurant, this restaurant is also for people from outside the campsite.||There are several lakes to fish. There is 1 large swimming lake, built with concrete, it slopes slowly and is eventually quite deep. You can dive off the jetty. Very nice. Slides at lake also nice.||The pitches are large. And there are still many available at the moment. ||Well one thing. Maintenance needs to be done in many places. Paths overgrown with plants. In shower building at the very back of the campsite, the water runs into the corridor instead of the drain. Mirror is no longer there and there are no toilet seats(?). Our children (15 and 16) are out all day with a group of Dutch kids. In the evening they sit by the lake under surveillance 😀. Very cozy.

The campsite facilities are adequate. Showers are standard. The individual space per unit is large for morning ablutions. Water warm. There is one washing machine and one drier. Staff were using as I queued for my turn. The bar service is slow and some staff are inexperienced. The campsite is incredibly noisy. The pitches are on top of each other and there is no privacy whatsoever. We had a noisy family above our heads as we “slept”. The vineyard is busy with constant tractor traffic, even at night. The Burgundy air must be full of pesticides during the grape cycle. The countryside is beautiful yes but farmed intensely. The caravans and campers are parked tightly. Can’t recommend this place. Avoid!

A great holiday park for water rats and water sports enthusiasts with numerous excursion destinations in the surrounding area, whether by bike or by car. Bikes can be hired on site at a fair price. The outdoor pool has some great slides and the swimming pool is large enough and limited to a minimum number of people. The large sanitary block was always busy. The staff always cleaned it properly several times a day. We discovered the Bosrand sanitary block for ourselves. We simply found it better. On the negative side, we found that we couldn't change the temperature of the showers ourselves. Unfortunately, other campers left the washing-up areas very dirty, so you had to clean them yourself first. The site is great for families with children. There is a large playground right by the Verse Meer with a view of Veere. We found it very nice and would recommend it to others.
