Camping La GarenneAfter calling two campsites in vain (there is no answer) called camping La Garenne. Here was answered almost immediately and very friendly. Yes, we have room for you, sounded like music to our ears. At the reception a warm welcome. We were offered a lot of information. We planned to stay one night. It ended up being seven. We were not able to do all of the cycling routes. Great to explore, for example, on an old railroad by, bike, the area. If you don't feel like cooking, the cozy bistro offers a solution. Per day a menu, so you do not have to choose. Well so easy. The food is good and the service fast and friendly. We were lucky with the weather, hot, but in the large pool you can cool off. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but they are well cleaned. In short, a fine campsite under friendly, Dutch, management.

Na een tweetal campings tevergeefs te hebben gebeld(er wordt niet opgenomen) camping La Garenne gebeld. Hier werd vrijwel onmiddellijk en bijzonder vriendelijk opgenomen. Ja hoor, wij hebben wel plek voor u, klonk ons als muziek in de oren. Bij de receptie een warm welkom. Wat kregen we een informatie aangeboden. We waren van plan, één nacht te blijven. Het werden er uiteindelijk zeven. De fietsroutes hebben we niet allemaal kunnen doen. Geweldig om bijvoorbeeld op een oude spoorbaan per, fiets, de omgeving te verkennen. Heb je even geen zin om te koken, dan biedt de gezellige bistro uitkomst. Per dag een menu, dus je hoeft niet te kiezen. Wel zo makkelijk. Het eten is prima en de bediening vlot en vriendelijk. We troffen het met het weer, warm, maar in het grote zwembad kun je heerlijk afkoelen. Het sanitair is een beetje gedateerd, maar er wordt goed schoongemaakt. Camping La Presqu’îleThe campsite's location on the lake is magnificent, but the rest is less so. Access to some pitches is very difficult and on a slope. We were there from August 28 to September 11. After five days, one sanitary block was closed, so the others were further away. Since it was taken over by a chain, Sunelia, it has gained one star and now has four. I really don't know how we can justify this fourth star. The pitches are minimalist and on slopes, the pool is very small, there's no entertainment, the washing-up sink is broken, the sinks are complicated to empty, and the sewage smells next to the pool are unbearable. Not worthy of four stars and far too expensive.

La situation du camping est magnifique au bord du lac, mais le reste est moins beau. Accès a certains emplacements très difficile et en plus en pente. Nous y étions du 28 août au 11septembre. Au bout de cinq jours fermeture d'un bloc sanitaire donc les autres plus éloignés. Depuis son rachat par une chaîne, Sunelia, il a gagné une étoile et est passé a quatre. Je ne sais vraiment pas comment on peut justifier cette quatrième étoiles. Les emplacements son minimalistes et en pentes, la piscine très petite, aucune animation, évier a vaisselle cassé, évacuation de lavabos compliquées, odeurs d'égouts insupportable a côté de la piscine. Ne mérite vraiment pas quatre étoiles et beaucoup trop chère.

Un havre de paix où le couple qui gère est attentionné et propose un site digne d'un 4*. Outre les 5 ha de terrain entretenus et arborés, de nombreuses attentions pour un séjour parfait : prêt de boules de pétanque, jeux de société et lectures ; pour les enfants jeux extérieurs, piscine avec bouées, des poules, terrain multisports ; mais aussi étang pour pêcher, lave linge, repassage... Service petite restauration, glaces, bar. Une démarche engagée : tri selectif et compost, lumières et robinets à couper après utilisation. Que demander de + !?

Veluwecamping 't SchinkelGreat campsite! Secluded spot with plenty of shade, clean plumbing (the BushBush shower) and plenty of peace and quiet. The reception was not open much, but that was clearly named. How everything is in high season, I do not know :) The surroundings are fantastic, with lots of nature and space! For small groceries and coffee or fries you can walk to Landal. The rest you can get in Hoenderloo or Beekbergen.

Prima camping! Afgeschermde plek met veel schaduw, schoon sanitair (de BushBushdouche) en veel rust. De receptie was weinig open, maar dat was duidelijk benoemd. Hoe alles in het hoogseizoen is, weet ik niet :) De omgeving is fantastisch, met veel natuur en ruimte! Voor kleine boodschappen en koffie of patat kun je naar Landal lopen. De rest is in Hoenderloo of Beekbergen te krijgen.
