Camping Monti del Sole oudWe arrived with 2 adults, a car and tent. Nobody to be seen, after calling it appeared that the campsite was closed (high season just ended). Mrs. the very friendly owner came anyway to arrange a place for us! So we had the whole campsite to ourselves! We could even ask for a ping-pong table and balls. Even the soccer table worked. We could stand anywhere we wanted under the trees or in the sun. The lady gave us the address of a super cheap Italian restaurant close by and went there herself so she could let the staff know we were there. Only downside: shower was lukewarm water so not really hot. Everything was clean though. Great stay!

We kwamen aan met 2 volwassenen, een auto en tentje. Niemand te bekennen, na even gebeld te hebben bleek de camping gesloten (hoogseizoen net voorbij). Mevrouw de geweldig vriendelijke eigenaresse kwam toch om voor ons een plaats te regelen! Zo hadden we de hele camping voor onszelf! We konden zelfs nog om pingpongbadjes en balletjes vragen. Ook de voetbaltafel deed het. We konden overal staan waar we wilden onder de bomen of in de zon. Mevrouw gaf ons het adres van een super goedkoop dichtbij Italiaans restaurant en ging er zelf ook heen dus kon gelijk even de bediening laten weten dat wij er waren. Enige minpunt: douche was lauw water dus niet echt warm. Wel alles schoon. Geweldig verblijf gehad!

Camping het HorstmannsbosIn the middle of the woods on the edge of Drouwenerzand, this is a spacious campsite with large sites, lots of privacy and lots of play areas. We rented a safari tent without bathroom facilities. There are two that look out over the sandy area into the woods. That "without plumbing" is no problem at all because they are near the sanitary building. Since that is behind a small hill, you have only convenience and no trouble with it. The purple pole route of about 5 km runs literally in front of the tent, so you walk straight into the heath. The catering is basic but okay with a wide range of local beers.

Middenin de bossen aan de rand van het Drouwenerzand is dit een ruim opgezette camping met grote plekken, veel privacy en veel speelplekjes. We huurden een safaritent zonder sanitair. Er zijn er twee die over de zandvlakte het bos inkijken. Dat ‘zonder sanitair’ is geen enkel probleem omdat ze vlakbij het sanitairgebouw staan. Omdat dat achter een heuveltje ligt, heb je er enkel gemak en geen last van. De paarse paaltjes route van ca. 5 km loopt letterlijk voor de tent langs, je loopt dus zo de heide op. De horeca is basic maar oké met een ruim assortiment lokale biertjes.

Camping Drei SpatzenWe (and the dog) stayed for over a week in a very complete safari tent and had a wonderful time. It is a small campsite in the middle of nature. You walk from the campsite into the forest, lovely! Afterwards nice beer on the terrace of the campsite ;) The Dutch owners, the cook (delicious food!) and wait staff do their best to make you feel comfortable and always have time for a chat. Highly recommended for people who like peace and quiet.

Wij (en de hond) verbleven ruim een week in een zeer complete safaritent en hebben het heerlijk gehad. Het is een kleine camping midden in de natuur. Je loopt vanaf de camping zo het bos in, heerlijk! Na afloop lekker biertje op het terras van de camping ;) De Nederlandse eigenaars, de kok (heerlijk gegeten!) en bedienend personeel doen erg hun best het je naar de zin te maken en hebben altijd tijd voor een praatje. Een aanrader voor mensen die van rust houden.

Camping de BreedeWe were here for a few days in mid-September. The campsite looked well cared for, the plumbing is modern and well kept clean. Fine showers! WiFi stable and fast! Nice manager, accessible when needed, but not prominent. By the way, during our stay the campground was very quiet. Unfortunately, the pool, and thus the kiosk, was already closed so the famous egg ball we had been looking forward to had to be purchased elsewhere 😉

We stonden hier half september gedurende een paar dagen. De camping zag er verzorgd uit, het sanitair is modern en wordt goed schoon gehouden. Fijne douches! WiFi stabiel en snel! Aardige beheerder, bereikbaar als het nodig is, maar niet prominent aanwezig. Tijdens ons verblijf was de camping overigens erg rustig. Helaas was het zwembad, en daarmee de kiosk, al gesloten zodat de beroemde eierbal waarop wij ons hadden verheugd elders moest worden aangeschaft 😉

Camping TroisviergesFör vandraren, cyklisten m.m. Här tror jag man kan få ut mycket av friluftsliv. Vi hade lite otur, åskväder och ett j........... ösregn hela natten och mulet dagen efter gjorde att vi valde att åka vidare. Mycket prisvärt när vi var där €20.
