    Campers, run for your lives!!!!!!!
We never imagined Paradise would be like this!
We were greeted by a group of teenage girls dressed up for summer in gorgeous T-shirts featuring the campground’s logo. Their information was so unconvincing that we decided to check out “Paradise” for ourselves before heading back in our RV.
A few dirt sites in the sun, near a well-equipped restroom block but, more importantly, right across from the venue set aside for evening entertainment.......
We walked two to three hundred meters to discover magnificent grassy, shaded sites near a restroom block—but it only had very poorly maintained toilets!
No showers, nothing for washing dishes or doing laundry!
Clearly, this isn’t a campground—it’s a lodging complex with countless bungalows!

    Amis campeurs fuyez!!!!!!!

A beautiful campground with incredibly friendly staff. We wanted to move sites because the construction was bothering us, and they accommodated us without any problems. The service was excellent, and we had a wonderful stay.

A beautiful, large campground with all the amenities you need.

There are a few downsides, though.

    1. I think the staff hates their jobs. They’re really grumpy, especially at the campground’s supermarket. With the exception of the staff at some restaurants—but definitely not at the pool with the pirate ship—which is why we stopped buying anything there; they apparently weren’t interested in serving customers.

    2. Cars drive like maniacs here, especially where we were staying—the cottages in the back on the right side of the map. Garbage trucks, too, by the way. So we didn’t dare let our kids play in front of the cottage.

    3. Everything at the campground is expensive. That’s probably also why you hardly see any Croatian guests there. Tip: buy your groceries at the Lidl in Umag. And eat out somewhere else.

Other than that, we had a nice vacation. The surrounding area is nice (tip: go to Buijni and rent a golf cart there).

By the way, the campground is very clean.

    3.

We booked a lodge; the rooms are spread out over several different levels, so you need to be able to walk well—it’s very steep here. The food at the restaurant here is good, but you pay 16 euros for a plate of pasta, and the portions are very small—as an adult, you won’t get full. On top of that, they don’t communicate well when you’re sitting there and want to order more food.

We stayed here for six days during the last week of June, when the campground wasn’t yet fully booked. Overall, we had a good time.

The campground is very well-kept, clean, and well-maintained. There’s plenty of greenery, and it’s cool. The shared bathrooms were always spotless and really convenient to use. We stayed in a trailer near the ice cream shop and really enjoyed it: functional, well-organized, spotless upon our arrival, and in a convenient location. We had everything we needed. One tip, though: in the summer, air conditioning is practically essential, because without it, the trailer gets really hot. I also recommend bringing a few items from home (potholders, dish towels, a bath mat, etc.), which can come in very handy.

The beach is pleasant, even if it’s not among the most spectacular in Sardinia. The water is clean, clear, and pleasantly warm.

The pool was probably the aspect we liked the least. The water was very warm—almost like broth—and there’s no adults-only area. Since it’s a very family-oriented campground, it’s full of children, and it’s hard to swim in peace. Even the lap pool is very shallow. Furthermore, the entire area is completely exposed to the sun: there are only two gazebos, which get taken immediately, while lounge chairs and umbrellas cost €15 per day. We would have appreciated a few more shaded areas (there are very few trees) and a relaxation area with free hammocks or lounge chairs, perhaps using the space where numerous unused RVs and trailers are parked.

The entertainment staff deserves praise: the young people are really friendly, knowledgeable, and full of enthusiasm. We became friends with them, and they managed to engage people of all ages. The evening cabaret, in particular, was really fun. It must be said, however, that the program is almost entirely designed for children and families. We were a group of three people in our thirties, and while we appreciated their efforts, we found few activities geared toward adults. This isn’t a criticism, but useful information for those traveling with friends or as a couple: it would have been helpful to know this before booking. Even activities like water aerobics and volleyball tournaments were attended almost exclusively by children and teenagers.

The ice cream shop is excellent and offers truly delicious artisanal ice cream. It’s just a shame that, like the restaurant, it isn’t air-conditioned: on the hottest days, the heat really gets to you. Furthermore, the restaurant didn’t particularly impress us in terms of value for money. We ordered some pizzas but didn’t feel like having dinner inside because of the heat. As for the self-service restaurant, we never saw it open during our stay. Too bad, because we would have liked to try it.

The market is well-stocked, but the prices are definitely high, even considering that it’s located inside a campground.

One final compliment goes to the entire staff: receptionists, bartenders, waitstaff, ice cream vendors, and activity leaders were always extremely kind, helpful, and cheerful.

Overall, this is a place I’d recommend especially to families with children or teenagers. We had a good time and our overall impression is positive, but for the kind of vacation we’re looking for, we’d prefer a setting with a few more services and activities geared toward adults as well.
