We usually go to the CC Park rest area. We wanted to try out the campground. What a disappointment for a 4-star campground. The grounds were poorly maintained, and the restrooms were dirty. There were no security guards at night. As a result, our neighbors were talking loudly until midnight. The only positives were the very friendly front desk staff and the restaurant.

This campground was the perfect stopover for us on our way from Flanders to the South of France. It’s ideally located, about halfway through the trip, which allowed us to break up the long drive comfortably.

What immediately stands out is the expansive grounds with spacious campsites. There’s more than enough space, which creates a pleasant sense of peace and freedom. Despite the size of the grounds, it’s remarkably quiet, allowing us to truly relax after a long trip.

The restrooms also deserve a special mention: exceptionally clean and well-maintained. That contributes enormously to the comfort of the stay.

The campground’s greatest asset, however, is the hospitality. From the very first contact, we were treated with the utmost warmth, friendliness, and professionalism. Throughout our two-night stay, we were looked after with the same warmth and attention. That personal touch really makes a difference and ensures you feel welcome right away.

In short: a quiet, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and exceptionally friendly service. For anyone heading to the South of France, this is an absolute must-visit. We’d love to come back here again!

A wonderful modern take on a camping. We stayed in the ‘mobile homes’ which were very comfy, had a great deck and large sliding door. Great for sitting outdoors and enjoying a glass of wine. The location is ideal for hikes and it’s a 10 minute walk into town. These homes are spotless and the cleaners have to be commended for doing a superb job. We befriended a local grey and white cat with an injury on a back paw 🐾 which we tended to. Hope she is better

A wonderful campground with beautiful, spacious sites. A lovely pool and nice, clean restrooms.

What spacious bathrooms and bedrooms with comfortable beds. A functional kitchen, a long storage room with a washer and dryer. The underfloor heating control panel is also located there.

A really beautiful campground. Clean restrooms. Nice sites. Friendly staff. Delicious food at the restaurant and snack bar. We’ll definitely be back next year!

As a local guide, I feel I must warn you that this campground proudly boasts a 3-star rating, but personally, I’m still searching for the first star—it’s definitely a place to AVOID. The lake has plenty of potential, but that’s about it; everything else leaves a lot to be desired, especially my mobile home site
. Even after 10 p.m., the gates still aren’t closed. As for hygiene, on top of that, thousands ofinsects swarm in every night—I’ve posted a video here:
Don’t expect to find a nice, clean, well-maintained lawn; instead, you’ll find roughly mowed grass and nettles:
In conclusion, there’s a total disconnect between the promises and reality—don’t waste your time or money; just move on.
