How family camping? How service? After 25 years, our family (30 people) was suddenly not allowed to book 7 pitches and 3 bungalows for 2025 during last Pentecost weekend because the rates were not yet known. This was never a problem in other years. Also no service by e.g. offering to inform us when that would be the case. Consequence: our desired pitches already occupied. We sent an e-mail to complain about this and received a reply after 1 day: they were going to look into the possibilities. Until today nothing more heard. After calling on our part, we received an impersonal standard response by e-mail. It mentioned new booking rules: we can already book in January 2025 for Pentecost 2026. Curious because booking in May 2024 for Pentecost 2025 was not possible. We were also advised to just look at 1 of the other resorts to see if there is still room there. I think the designation "Royal" has led to complacency. Oh yes, we were also always good for about 50 visits to the restaurant.

Very nice CP on Lac de Serre-Poncon with wonderful pitches overlooking the lake. Clean sanitary facilities. Dogs allowed. Baguettes and croissants can be ordered in the restaurant for the next day. The reception also speaks English 👍 unfortunately the lake had little water, so we had to walk a long way down the steep slope to the lake. The view of Saint Michel is beautiful. Bouncy castle and play area for children. Nice pool.

Great site for cycle routes and hiking. Very peaceful location on the banks of the Loire. Briare is a lovely little town best known for the aqueduct designed by Gustav Eiffel. As others have said the campsite is a little tired but has all the essentials.

Perfect for an overnight campervan stay

A very pleasant stay in a simple atmosphere, a very natural setting, comfortable family tents. In a less busy period, the peace and quiet, the space, the river, the swimming pool, ... the barbecue, all added to this multi-family weekend. Thank you for your warm welcome, I'll be back Régis K.

Beautiful location of the cottage. Clean and fully equipped cottage. Comfortable.

Very nice campsite. Lots of playgrounds, large pitches, very tasty food in the restaurant. Unfortunately bread rolls in the morning are only baked or old. Hot water is only available with a 5€ card (for washing up and showering). Also a large building site where loud music is constantly playing. Not even quiet at lunchtime when many children are sleeping.

Great campsite for nature lovers! Very quiet, with pitches offering superb views of the surrounding countryside. The campsite's location is perfect for exploring and discovering the region. Top-notch welcome and advice, with the possibility of ordering fresh bread and pastries every morning - a real pleasure 🙂 Plenty of games for the kids and a very comfortable heated pool! An address not to be missed if you're in the area ✌️

Cottage with hot tub and the delicious spare ribs 😉

Centrally located. Friendly staff. Easy in and out check days. Small basic cottages, we were in 4 p cottage with 2 and it was really tight. Cottage with enclosure was top for small dog. Cottages have basic furnishings but everything clean . Compared to other vacation parks like Roompot and Landal it is less comfort compared to the price. Price was higher for the same period. Fine stay had!
