We booked free late afternoon, went super easy and by phone via netherlands. Nice place for the night in our little camper and in the morning we looked over the wine fields. Very nice place.

Las Masia Camping – Fell Short of Expectations Overall, Las Masia Camping didn’t meet our expectations. The site felt cramped compared to other camping and bungalow stays we’ve had, and parking next to the accommodation was extremely difficult. Our bungalow itself was surprisingly spacious, but we had to give it a serious deep clean upon arrival—always check under the beds and flip the mattresses. My brother-in-law’s family unfortunately caught head lice from the pillows in their bungalow, so I strongly recommend bringing your own. We did, and thankfully avoided that issue. The pool was as expected—overcrowded and loud—but that’s typical for peak season, so no complaints there. The water park, however, was excellent when it wasn’t chaotic. That said, there were no lifeguards on duty at the water park, only at the main pool. This became a real concern: my 3-year-old son was hurt multiple times, nearly breaking his nose after older kids slammed into him on the flume. Many didn’t wait for the person ahead to exit before sliding down, and some even went down in groups of 4 or 5, causing injuries. Kids were walking back up the slides while others were coming down—total chaos. A single lifeguard enforcing basic rules could have prevented this. Sadly, many parents didn’t seem to care either. Food at the pool was standard frozen fare—nothing exciting. We didn’t eat at the restaurant as it didn’t look appetizing. The beach nearby (not part of the campsite) wasn’t great—small, sharp stones instead of fine sand, even in the water. Blanes itself isn’t the most charming town in Spain. We’ve visited many places, and my wife grew up in Spain, so we know the difference. Around the campsite, there’s not much going on—just a few kebab shops and an arcade (which was fun for one night). For a better meal, head to the port area about 3km away; it’s more authentic and worth the drive. On the positive side, our bungalow (1215) was well located—just behind the shop and bakery, and a short walk to public showers and toilets. The bakery and shop were actually reasonably priced for a camping site. Unfortunately, a major downside was our neighbor: a staff member named Gabriel who stayed in the bungalow next to us. He was rude and unprofessional. We were told by reception that if there was space next to our bungalow, we could park our car—even a second one. There was space, but Gabriel insisted we couldn’t use it, claiming it blocked a gate (which was unused and cluttered with broken sun chairs). We respected that and moved the car. A few days later, after buying lots of groceries, we parked again in the same spot—carefully positioned not to block anything—and Gabriel made another scene, threatening to report us to management. Nothing came of it, but it created an uncomfortable vibe for the rest of the holiday. It became clear he wanted the space for his own convenience—to turn the company golf cart and hang laundry, rather than using his private terrace like everyone else. Overall, the best part of the holiday was spending time with family and enjoying the water park when it wasn’t chaotic. If you're considering camping in this region, I’d personally recommend Camping & Bungalows Platja Brava in Pals—far better beach, more spacious layout, and Pals itself is a much nicer village.

Quiet campsite with a nice reception, sanitary facilities are clean but a bit outdated. A little tip: you should have toilet paper with you.

Visiting for two nights, we left this campsite in the morning. First of all, when we asked what time the pool opens, the answer was it depends, when I'm done!!!! So no fixed times. Then the bathing cap is mandatory and if you forget they sell you some for 5 euros🤔 but what made us leave is that 'there is no safety check. In The children's play area there was a wasp nest, and a nest is not made in a day so no check and my 4 year old son got stung on both arms, which is unacceptable and dangerous. The people in charge didn't see fit to look after my son, to find out if he was allergic, to give us the address of a doctor or even a pharmacy on call, or even to ask how he was doing. Their concern was just to defend themselves, as we pointed out that it was unacceptable but they didn't see it that way 😡🤬. Little icing on the cake, the next day I went to the pool twice and it wasn't open, at 10am and 10:40am. The incompetent staff to whom I asked at what time and especially where could I take a shower, answered me not without laughing: I don't know it's only been a month since I've been working 😇. In short, to be avoided at all costs if you have children. Not to mention the cars on the busiest road. Help! I've also just read the campsite's reply, which of course misses the point and defends itself from any responsibility. Firstly, on the pool times, saying "yes, it can fluctuate", I'm sorry, but it's not difficult to be on time! then, on incompetent staff, again, it's not difficult to ask the staff questions to find out if they're competent. on the subject of bathing caps, I've got nothing against the fact that they're compulsory, even if that's debatable given the many swimming pools that don't make them compulsory, but it's the price of a bathing cap sold for 5 euros, when a campsite could make the effort to buy cheap caps for less than a euro at Decathlon, for example. it would be a service to the clientele and everyone would win. but no! 5 euros!!! just to make up a few more euros on the price of the cap! last but not least, SAFETY, and in particular the children's play area. the campsite defends itself by saying it's sorry, downplaying the issue by talking about one sting, but there were several, and it doesn't mention the lack of information on the care to be taken, the numbers of the pharmacy on call or the doctors nearby. no, the campsite defends itself by saying it's sorry and that it carries out regular checks. It's a disgrace!!! because on a children's playground, it's not regular checks that need to be carried out, but daily checks, every morning. I'd remind you that a wasp nest doesn't set up in a day, but over several weeks, so checks don't need to be carried out very often. especially since someone at the campsite told us she'd seen wasps after our child had been stung. It's a start, but what we really need to do is get to grips with this incident, check every morning and evening that there are no problems, and make it part of the campsite routine never to happen again. STRONGLY AVOIDED with kind regards

A EVITER FORTEMENT à bon entendeur

We spent 11 days here with 1 child and 4 adults. We had a mobile home with pool 4th row with sea view. The house is equipped with everything you need for the time. Towels were changed every 3 days. Bed linen was not. There was a small welcome pack in the kitchen with salt, spices, washing-up liquid, a sponge, a towel and an oil. We were warmly welcomed. They were always there to answer our questions and also responded immediately to our request for extra bed linen. Unfortunately, cars still drive here, although it was said at the beginning that it is a car-free resort. The e-scooters, which are driven here very fast and without consideration for others, partly by 5 year olds is very annoying. The pool was checked and cleaned daily. The restaurants here are ok, the price-performance level unfortunately not. The beach has small pebbles outside the water and there are very large stones in the water, so aqua shoes are a must! We had our breakfast included (7:30 - 10:30 am). It was plentiful and fresh. Something for everyone. We found it a successful stay overall. We would come here again. Nobody spoke German here.

Für jeden was dabei. Deutsch sprach hier keiner.

Fine campsite with pitches, tents, chalet and also Hoeft is under construction. Multiple sanitary buildings that are cleaned frequently. The campsite is a nice starting point for the walks on the Mullerthaller trail routes which you can start directly from the campsite (route 2). We were on row 5 for four - five nights with good size in terms of pitch. Unfortunately the streetlights on rows five and six did not work so flashlight with us to sanitary building. On weekends my wife with asthma had a lot of trouble with fire pits and BBQ. This is allowed at this campground and because of a high supply of tent campers it is not surprising that people want to stay warm at night.
