In any case. Very beautiful scenery. Our pitches above the reception reception were nice and big. With the ACSI card very cheap. Only the showers could be a bit warmer. Also a nice restaurant with a pool.

Cottage booked for Ground Zero Festival price was really good 300 for 2.5 day 4 people! Nice cottage everything worked well and was fairly modern. Park was nice and super neat with just enough privacy still even though everything was close together. Would book again if I need cottage nearby.

Very beautifully situated campsite, friendly staff, very well maintained and clean - we felt very comfortable there. Absolutely recommendable.

Such a convenient spot for visiting the volcanoes at the end of August (which were amazing btw). Nice site, plenty of space and privacy in a wooded setting. Facilities good but the main reason I gave 5 stars was the staff. What a delightful bunch of young folk! Even knocking during a storm to let us know there was shelter available. Super helpful and pleasant they were a credit to Huttopia and France! My first Huttopia but not my last.

Close to the lagoon, but tents a little too close together. Your peace of mind will therefore depend on the (often relative) discretion of your neighbors. It's also a pity that the food-truck has been pushed to the far end of the campsite, as has the swimming pool. What's missing is a "life center" as is usually the case at Huttopia.

Basically a very good campsite. The wash houses/toilets are always clean and very modern (cleaning staff try very hard, some people are just pigs but they clean very often), short waiting times for toilets/showers at peak times. Great natural stone beaches (you have to like them, as there are few comfortable entry points and sun loungers/shaded areas) and a pebble beach. Snorkeling is good here, ideally on the south side, as there seem to be a lot of sea walnut jellyfish on the east and west sides at the end of August (not dangerous for people, but annoying if you can't see the bottom because of all the jellyfish). Pitches are sometimes uneven, luxury pitches are usually large and flat as well as shady, if you haven't reserved a pitch you can choose one and also "swap" without any problems (at check-in you are allocated a pitch, but if someone likes another available pitch in the same category more, you can swap without any problems -> but depending on the season you have to be quick with your decision as some are taken quickly). Generally very natural and clean -> lots of birds, lizards, at night rabbits occasionally hop across the pitch. Due to the birds accordingly loud in the morning, also by occasionally barking dogs (-> very dog-friendly campsite, who likes that great, who has something against barking and the occasionally not cleared dog piles should think twice). Also noisy in places due to motorcyclists outside the campsite. Bars, restaurants and store (Konzum) directly on site, prices, especially at the store, higher than normal, but to be expected with the comfort. Restaurants directly on the square and in the immediate vicinity have hardly any meatless dishes, so as a vegetarian it is better to cook for yourself, unless side dishes, grilled vegetables and pizza are enough for your stay ;) In the end, I personally think that you get a lot of comfort and nature here for the price. The old town is only a short bus/car ride away, for larger purchases there is a huge shopping center ~2km away where you can get absolutely everything. As far as pitches are concerned, you need a bit of luck because they are sometimes uneven and there are trees right next to the pitch, so it's best to go there once without a reserved pitch and choose the best one, and if you want to come again, choose a good pitch and reserve it :) One more thing about pitches: The luxury pitches are mostly flat and bordered by greenery, so they are the best in terms of privacy. The premium pitches, especially on the south side of the island, are sometimes only demarcated with gravel and markings set in the ground, here you are sometimes lined up neighbor to neighbor without privacy, also on the south side there are only occasional power connections -> long extension cables required. There is hardly any shade in the southernmost part either, the south-facing midday sun beats down hard. However, you are right on the stone beach there, which naturally makes more of a difference in terms of atmosphere than in the forest further inland. So either comfort and a flat area in the luxury segment or "wild camping" with little privacy but a good view and the smell of the sea ;)

The positive aspects first: Good location, the layout of the accommodation, the large shower, parking in front of the door. The ladies at reception were always friendly. Now to the negative points: The accommodation was not very clean. The dishes were dirty and sticky, the downstairs room smelled musty. In the "large" room upstairs, the window frames were full of mold. The beds are very narrow. The rooms are cool and not really inviting. You have to pay extra for bed linen and towels. The windows downstairs in the living area were smudged when we arrived, fingerprints everywhere. In the toilet, neither the ventilation (we had to get air fresheners) nor the flush worked properly. Also very, very small! You pay 5 euros for a wash cycle. Likewise for the tumble dryer (no drying rack available in the accommodation). The crowning glory, however, was the claim that we had damaged the vacuum cleaner. We didn't even touch it. The host wanted us to leave the accommodation swept clean. We did just that! Nevertheless, after our departure, we received a message from the accommodation that the deposit of €100 would be withheld because the vacuum cleaner was broken! We have been booking through Booking for many years and countless times, but we have never experienced anything like this. Whether someone wants to put themselves through this stress is of course up to them. We will definitely not book this accommodation again!

Been there for a Heart2Heart conference. Only comment is that the permanent showers behind the beach tent could use a renovation. Are still functional, but a bit dated.

Been here from July 26 to August 12. It was extremely quiet, we spent a good week on our own at the campsite. Sociability from the manager was not there, the Feesterij was simply closed, if you wanted something you could call. But then there was a chance that she was in the pool a village away. Strangely enough, the recreation room could be opened when family came to the campsite.... In addition, an attempt was made to scam us. Nowhere on the website it was mentioned (so now it is, has been changed after our departure!)that additional tents had to be paid for. Generally at any campsite this is never a problem unless otherwise stated. Whether we when returning the key where we basically still would get back 25 euros deposit, just as 100 euros extra wanted to tap, because extra tent ... whole discussion, place was for 2 people, and so there had to be paid extra, while clearly reserved for 3 people and 1 week 4, I have the reservation confirmation of that! I finally refused this. For us never again Drentse Monden! What a scam! The area is beautiful, but the campsite owner is not honest!

We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the xl lodge comfort. Dead flies everywhere on the floor walls and ceilings. There was still popcorn in the microwave. Window frames full of flies..... a dustpan with dirt in the closet. The mattresses were stained. Spider webs. Dog hair... No reaction from the park. 2 days later I told them. Answer we can still do a cleaning... the cleaning lady didn't even need 15 minutes for 3 xl lodge comfort... Sad for so much money
