Toller campingplatz in den Maasduinen

A rejuvenating vacation in a forest lodge with a terrace overlooking the trees and birds, which delighted our meals and quiet times. Peaceful campsite where life is good, well maintained in its natural setting, swimming pool/paddling pool ideally located, very pleasant place to share time with family and neighbors and enjoy the sunsets. Ideal for relaxing, visiting the surrounding bastide towns and hiking... lovely country lanes to discover from the campsite. Many thanks to the team for their warm welcome and thoughtfulness. We are continuing our vacation with Huttopia.

Overall a nice 3-star campsite with new showers and not-so-new toilets. Our pitch was at the very end of the site and was huge. Boules court nearby made for increased noise during the day. Supermarket (Leclerc) nearby, approx. 2 km to the center. Only rough stones by the sea. Hike up the cliff (approx. 200 steps) highly recommended.

Currently having an amazing time at Huttopia Lac de Sille, it's a proper forest campsite, which I haven't experienced before but it is lovely, just messy as I ended up bringing in half the forest into my tent/car via my feet 🤦🏽‍♀️ the facilities on site are good, plenty of warm showers, toilets and washing up area's, it's advised you take your own handsoap and toilet roll though. There is a bar/food shack at the main information tent, where the huttopia staff speak several languages, rent a bike is also by the info hut, and a communal area where there are board games to borrow and wooden games to use by the bar area.

We had a fantastic week here and would definitely recommend. The pitch was spacious and shaded and the views of nountains surround the site. The small village of Vallouise, which was a 5 minute walk, had everything we needed and was so prettty. Perfect for walks and general outdoor activities or just to relax in nature. The pool at the site was clean and well maintained. We loved it here!

Lovely weekend we had. They are beautiful cottages, nicely decorated & with a nice view.

Our family had a fantastic time at Huttopia Carcans. The location was great, right next to a beautiful lake with lots of water sports available and lovely sand all around. The campsite was really tranquil and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful quiet shady place

We booked a panorama pitch for 3 people with a caravan from mid to late August 2025. When we arrived at the campsite, we were given a very businesslike welcome. For a 4**** pitch, it would at least make sense for us to be asked if we had a good journey. This is free and friendly and doesn't hurt anyone. When we arrived at our panorama pitch, we set everything up and wanted to take a shower after the long drive. All three of us were shocked. The sanitary facilities smelled like a station toilet, and the showers and toilets had not been cleaned. Of course, it has to be said that there are a lot of campers out and about, including some wild ...., which makes it very difficult for the cleaning staff to keep things running. In any case, we complained to reception that these circumstances were completely unacceptable and asked for a private bathroom (at extra cost, of course). The gentleman at reception wanted to let us know whether this would be feasible. Unfortunately, we did not receive a visitor at our place who had agreed to or canceled the private bath. We noticed that something had changed in terms of cleanliness in the meantime. The toilets were relatively clean and no longer smelled of urine and other waste. As we still hadn't received any feedback regarding the private bathroom, we adjusted to the situation accordingly and were forced to continue using the public sanitary facilities, which in our opinion were of a 2** level at best. Our panoramic pitch was excellent. We were pretty much on our own up there and enjoyed our freedom. What we are wondering, however, is how the ADAC came up with the idea of giving this site a rating of 4**. We don't agree with that at all. We stayed at Camping Polidor in Funtana last year. There you could eat from the floor in the sanitary facilities. However, if you book the beautiful panoramic pitch and do without the overpriced moon prices in the supermarket on the campsite (we don't really look at money on vacation), you can have a great vacation there. The campsite's own beach is also very small, but the water is amazing. You can still see the bottom at a depth of 20m and it's crystal clear. Conclusion: Pros: - Superb panoramic spot - Excellent water on the beach Contra: - Sanitary facilities not at all good - Supermarket too expensive - Service concept of the employees not present - The place is only about one thing - to get the guests' money - No interest in the customer - No garbage cans on the beach - Pitches full of weeds In our opinion, this resort does not deserve more than 3***

Spent 9 days there. The site has everything you need. New and older toilet blocks. Were always clean. But there are definitely not enough showers. Long distances in places for water and waste water. But okay.
