I was very disappointed by my stay. This campsite clearly doesn't deserve its 4 stars. My car broke down 3 km before I arrived and I was able to get a tow and get my keys back. The reception team didn't offer me any help, not even the loan of pliers as these were not supposed to leave the parking lot. The next day, my only sandals, worth 70€, were stolen from the pool. Sandals are forbidden in the pool area. Several thefts of sandals were noted and no commercial gesture offered, just signs saying that the campsite was not responsible for thefts. Dirty, clogged toilets, no soap available, too few in number, given the closure of a toilet near the tents on stilts. Store with inconvenient hours for sleeping in 8/10am. Lots of noise in the evening until late. What I found most disturbing was the lack of humanity on the part of the management and reception team.

Very well maintained, everyone super friendly, quiet place, good cuisine very tasty ,,,, simply to enjoy 👍 we always like to come back, even with a dog no problem 🥰

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel on August 25. Clean and spacious rooms as well as a very good free breakfast. The campsite offers many services such as restaurants and beaches (very nice by the way). Only downside the summer parking is a bit far from the room, but great that it is free. I would recommend and would stay there again, excellent quality price

We stayed at the campsite for 8 days last week. We had very nice days, especially our 2 year old child liked the playground and the small water park. Sanitary facilities very modern and clean and another plus point are the children's showers with toilets We will definitely be back

Wonderful place

Magnificent place where we came for the 2nd time, so enchanting is the landscape. Nature, no wifi, no noise at night Cabin a little less clean than usual - even if it's not the comfort we came for, I found it more flagrant than last year + towel policy a bit strict. Super fun activities, especially fishing and children's activities, thanks to the instructors.

We stayed in the glamping area and loved it. Very comfortable and sturdy beds, with a kitchenette and fridge. There is a bathroom outside with all the services in another cottage and a sink. You have to walk a little bit to get to the beach but it is not too hard, and the beach is wonderful, with few people. The bar has a supermarket so anything you need, you have it at hand, plus you can have a drink on the terrace or have breakfast / lunch / dinner and at night, in summer is next to the stage for their shows. Try the cocktails that are very good. In summer season there are activities for children and adults. The pool is tiny so there is no lifeguard and if it is high season depending on the time you go you may not have a hammock to leave things, but for a quick dip and cool off is great. There are supermarkets in town, some stores and a water park. Overall we were very comfortable and we loved it. To repeat.

We stayed for a week, generally okay, but the pool was not heated, so even on very hot days we could barely get in. Very clean camping, the showers were daily from morning to evening, so you had to walk around regularly. There was no constant hot water in the showers, 40 degrees and 2 seconds later 10 degrees.

Great campsite. Very clean and well maintained! Many offers and especially recommended with children!!!

We had booked a pitch with a pool for a week at the end of August. On arrival we were allowed to choose which of the free pitches we wanted to take. The pitches with pool are very large, straight and gravelled (good if it rains a lot, but very difficult to secure an awning or similar to the ground, which is important in the strong winds here). A big plus is the waste water connection directly from the pitch and of course the amazing view. On the negative side, weeds grow in abundance on the pitches and nobody removes them. After setting up, we noticed that the pool lighting wasn't working. When we asked at reception, we were told that this had been known for 3 weeks but had not yet been repaired. (Not an issue in itself, but this could have been mentioned when choosing the pitch. In this price category (from €250 a day) this should be expected. The pool was always very clean (was checked 3 times a day!) and even heated, which was super pleasant. The pitches around it also seemed spacious and very neatly laid out. However, if you are in the row directly next to the aqua park, you should bear in mind that you can hear the music as well as the technology and machines of the facility (constant humming). The campsite itself consists (almost half) of mobile homes and campers. The site is basically nicely laid out, although the plants still need time to grow. However, I can't understand why there is still a lot of garbage and building material lying around here and there. This could simply be removed or put somewhere else. The sanitary blocks are always clean and super modern. It feels like they are being cleaned all day long to keep everything clean. The main road through the site is paved. All other roads to the pitches are merely gravel. (E-scooters are not possible here) The main road tends to become a racetrack for bicycles, scooters and the like from 8 pm onwards. Children in particular are sometimes very fast here. (A child even drove in front of our car) Unfortunately, the infrastructure on the square is a bit of a disaster. Especially the supermarket. Not only is it incredibly untidy and poorly stocked, but the staff don't seem to be interested in holidaymakers, let alone working. There is no barbecue food or meat in the supermarket. Sausage and eggs are also rare. We therefore had to go shopping outside regularly. Which for people with motorhomes and the like means almost completely dismantling the caravan every time. This is a huge drawback for me. (P.s also the locals in the supermarkets outside seem to be fed up with tourists) Food to go is usually only available reluctantly (here it was called takeaway only from 9pm?) and apart from the pizza it tasted really bad. However, the restaurant on the beach (Il Cuccinaio?) is much better. Especially the octopus and the pinsa are highly recommended. The beach is beautifully laid out. There are a few sun loungers on the stone beach, but they are not enough for all vacationers. There are rentals and a water park for children and adults. The dog beach, however, is not well laid out. There are lots of sharp-edged stones on the beach, which makes it much more difficult for people and dogs to get in and is also simply dangerous for dogs' paws. Furthermore, on arrival there was unfortunately no information about where the dogs can do their business, as there is no meadow, circular path or similar on the site, most of them naturally use the vegetation on the paths, which I find a little disgusting even as a dog owner. However, there are plenty of poop bag dispensers and garbage cans. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi reception does not reach everywhere and is sometimes unstable. As we don't have children, we didn't use the aqua park. However, we had a clear view of the infinity/quiet pool from our pitch. However, it wasn't really quiet there. 🙈 A nice place, but room for improvement.

Pleasant campsite but lack of evening entertainment as far as daytime entertainment is concerned a disaster petanque competition 3 times a week it's a bit much and what's more the people who play don't even stay at the campsite the entertainment manager isn't up to scratch the lagoon is correct and pleasant the ageing swimming pool mini-market nothing to say because there's nothing there nothing campsite which is only there to make a lot of profit example 1kg 5 of fries supposedly home-made and that's neither more nor less than frozen fries the price 30 euro look for the error pitza for 4 person 16euro and you're still on your end the pitches are good with sanitary facilities and private pergola be careful all the same because there are covered pergola and other not

Papillon Campsite GWE pitch 187. Perfect position. Blasted with the eastern sunrise from 0800 hrs. Warm all day. Nights are fresh. Skies clear with very little light pollution. Arrived on Saturday to a lovely simple greeting. Plenty of activities, music, food and beers flowing around. Great selection of bistro type food. And quick snacks if you prefer. Showers are 1€/7 mins minimum. Warm. Power showers they are not but again far from a drizzle. 8/10 for them. Overall the toilet facilities are 10/10. Warm with lounge music playing in the background 24 hrs. Unusual, nice but not unwelcome. Great atmosphere. Mainly a site for static caravan lovers. A numbers of hard stands for motor homes. Approx 10 GWE pitches for tent fans like us. Flat, comfy, clean with grass clearly well maintained and cut regularly. No on site shopping facilities but the bar will take your breakfast order the night before and delivery is a personal touch around 0830. OKAY, ALDI and various other super markets are a short drive away. Happy to have found this site.
