This is a small but well above average Huttopia campsite in Burgundy, about 5km from the beautiful town of Beaune. There is a great cycle track (Voie Verte) to Beaune directly in front of the campsite. The village of Meursault is nearby. Most of the pitches are small but are arranged on a "stepped" or terrace formation, meaning most have a good view of the surrounding vineyards. Great bike hire service available for kids and adults. Only one criticism - they put gruyere cheese (not mozzarella) on their pizzas!

It was top notch in every way

Lodge with no storage for laundry or shopping. No space for cooking. Wooden cabin in very poor condition. Good for a week but no more without children. The campsite itself is well located near hypermarkets and the Dordogne. Every year I go with my 2 boys. This is the worst rental I've done in the last five years. Thank you for your feedback. Yes, an improvement in storage would be a plus. I'm in the building trade and an ex-craftsman. Wood is beautiful and natural, but it requires a lot of maintenance and regular care. I can tell you that you've forgotten all these steps. UV rays are terrible for wood. As for the rest, yes, the campsite is well located, but for me what I'm looking for is a place where I feel good. But that's just my opinion. I've never had to think about tidying up, but following this experience, I'll write about it in my criteria. You didn't even take the trouble to come and see me in response to my dissatisfaction. And when I hear at the reception desk that you know what you've rented, well no, I rented from photos taken by a photographer who knew how to highlight the qualities and hide the faults. After 15. Days in this campsite my opinion. First of all, I find it unacceptable that you should dare to advertise on the basis of my dissatisfaction. I confirm everything I said. Wooden cabins in very poor condition, not lodges. Worst rental in recent years.

Had a wonderful stay. Slept in a 1 person pod. Comfortable, great bed and super convenient that it has a small refrigerator. Feels like sleeping outside, but with a lot of luxury. Yoga and meditation classes were very nice and in the evening we had a great time sitting around the campfire. Sups are included in the stay and I enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the water.

The new plumbing is very clean although an extra toilet would not have been a luxury. Cycling distance from Ghent located in an extensive sports park. Running, walking, swimming. There is free access to the swimming park (normally 7euro) here is a 250m swimming lane in the lake. Pizzas are excellent! Only downside is the noise from the adjacent road. Drinking 1 or 2 extra beers in the bar (wide choice) largely solves this problem 👍

Very nice location of the campsite. Unfortunately, I miss a lot of things that were normal before the optimization of the pitches. First of all, it should be noted that the operator is not responsible for the beautiful sea and the location - this was already the case before the change to Valamar. I'll start with the positives: great Wi-Fi, I can work from the awning. That's why I'm giving it two stars and not just one. Negatives: 1. the dog beach is now used as a dog toilet and everyone doesn't care - the main thing is not to walk too far - here the site should designate an area for dogs in the campsite so that dog owners can also enjoy the beach with their families in the future. 2. too few toilets. You are on a campsite with supposedly 4 stars but you have to queue for the toilets every day. Four toilets for men for the entire C+D area is far too few in my opinion. I think it would work with twice as many toilets. 3. showers are also too few. My wife has to shower anti-cyclically so that she doesn't have to queue for an hour. 4. cleanliness on the beach is not regularly checked by the staff. Especially on the dog beach! 5. animation I expect more from a 4* campsite. Here you could score extremely well against the competition. 6. the staff don't even adhere to their own campsite regulations - so why should the guests? For example, the ice cream seller drives through the pedestrian section at top speed on his e-scooter and rings the bell quite cheekily! 7. when we arrived, we were at reception at around 10am. As our pitch was not yet free, we were told to turn around with our vehicle and drive back to KRK to a parking lot. That can't be true.7.1 I can't turn around in the narrow entrance area - I have to uncouple. 7.2 We are talking about a 4-star campsite, so there should be enough parking space to park for two hours and not be directed to a place where led. is tolerated. Sorry, I don't want to come across as a sourpuss here, but the three of us pay 2500 euros for a parking space for 17 days. I can expect a basic standard. I'm currently considering whether I'll take all this into account again next year, as the location and the WLAN network are crucial for me.

I really like this campsite there are some changes like new mobile homes but lack a lot of storage really too bad and they are less functional but I had a good stay I hope next year The new mobile homes not much storage too bad I prefer the old otherwise have a good stay next year I hope if my budget allows thank you Isabelle😁 and all her team 😉 see you very soon I hope 😁

Beautiful park. Clean, tidy, well-kept green areas. Plenty of fishing waters in the immediate vicinity. Curtains in the bungalow should be changed. Torn and dirty. But does not spoil the overall impression.

Very friendly staff in the evening at check-in. Unfortunately we had a very weird pitch even though we said we were here with a tent. It is important to mention that we could have changed pitches. Not very nice showers. At check-out, an older man with white hair sat at the counter and chewed us out for driving out even though everything had already been paid for. Unfortunately not very friendly. (He flipped me the bird). The price is not worth it just for an overnight stay with a tent.

To be avoided! Poor campsite management, no entertainment. Deplorable hygiene. Whether in the mobile home or in the sanitary facilities (which improved during our 2 weeks but nothing more). There's no bar or restaurant, only a very good snack bar that we recommend. The campsite is otherwise very well located. The pool is not very hot and we wonder if it's cleaned, and the staff dog wanders around in the pool. The upkeep of the green areas also needs to be reviewed. The campsite is fairly quiet, except when some of the staff have fun partying in their mobile homes, which are next to those of the holidaymakers. What's more, when you rent electric bikes for the day, they're not fully charged. Camping that doesn't need 4 stars but rather 2. We won't be back.
