Stayed with Mike and Martijn last weekend. The campground looks super cared for. The plumbing very clean. As an owner of my own small campground, I can learn a lot from them, they have a clear vision, and I wish them a lot of guests! And a full campsite... This campground is very suitable for all audiences. It is quiet but not silent, and it does not have to be during the day. The night's rest is respected by all guests and very nice! We visited several campsites with our camper last week. But 'T KATREEL stands out with flying colors! We will definitely return to see how the animal pasture has become.

We were very kindly welcomed. The food at night in the restaurant was really delicious. We had a wonderful time. The tiny house was very nicely decorated... my taste. Bathroom we were also very satisfied with, especially the shower was really good. It is not often that we have a good working shower head with good water pressure.

Now for the second year vacationed with my daughter (6) in our old Obelink tent. It is a convenient campsite with good facilities. Neat, clean and well organized. As a parent you can perfectly pamper yourself in the brasserie (restaurant), or on the cozy terrace, while my daughter enjoys herself on the play facilities located around the restaurant. Wifi also works fairly well, which is not the case at every campsite. The Dutch weather gave enough dry moments to enjoy, and in the forest you notice much less of the wind. So as soon as the sun shines it is immediately nice. In the area there is plenty to do, nature, nearby towns and the nearby swimming pool (1 km) is also great for children.

We really enjoyed our stay in Zomerlicht. It's a great location with beautiful nature around. A lot of places for kids to play and for adults to chill out. Great friendly atmosphere, bbq and a swimming pool. Everyone is very welcoming and responsive. And what was especially nice: we forgot something in our yurt when we left and Zomerlicht found it and just sent it to us!

Nice large pitches and a large swimming pool where you can swim laps in peace. Considering the temperature of the water, it is never crowded 😅🥶. The showers, when you are just coming out of the pool, seem quite okay but at other times are quite cold. The toilets are clean, there is plenty of soap and toilet paper. There are grasshoppers of 20 cm in size running around, but the campground can't do anything about that 😜.

Fantastic place for children. Animation is top notch. Everything is neat and clean. Owners are highly visible for questions.

The campground is ideally suited for children ages 4 to 12. As a result, they had the time of their lives and could romp on their lips without parents. The entertainment program also contributed to the revelry. Tough activities such as the assault course and foam party were well liked. All this combined with the very comfortable Villatent including shower, toilet and air conditioning/heating made our stay perfect. Even with a big rain shower. Not to mention the fantastic surroundings. Super vacation!

The owners are so kind. Which made the stay even more pleasant. The setting was perfect. The beauty of nature, the stars, the peace and quiet was exceptional. We watched a magical night sky with stars 🤩 magnificent really. The pool was our rendezvous every day to my lover and I, we love the water. It did us a lot of good this stay. There are cottages and teepees and caravan corner , we took a cottage that was top with a view of the lake everything was very clean, , the sound of nature was soothing we who arrive from the city, address that we will keep to return ... we wish you much success in your future. Beautifully located on the Ourthe, friendly and helpful owners, nice playground for children. Spacious pitches. Disadvantages: Plumbing is basic and not really fresh, no drinking water on site and had a lot of trouble with shrews

Whirlpool SUP Ravioli Nature

Beautiful and new facility. Unfortunately, there is no secure storage space for bicycles. If you are traveling as a young family, you should know that the bedrooms have no space for a cot. The kitchen is functionally equipped. Unfortunately, there is no full-size oven. The baking function is integrated in the microwave - works well, but is too small for four people. The rooms are, as usual in a chalet, very bright. The staff are friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, our complaint about a missing bed lamp took a few days to be resolved. That could be better. Overall, an address worth recommending!

While booking this campground it seemed great, especially for the kids. When we were standing a fellow camper alerted us that there was a rat infestation, so we kept the food in the car on advice. Too bad for the kids, but the water spray park was not on and the lake did not have the expected inflatables as mentioned on the site. The food at the little restaurant in the campground was delicious, but we did sit at a rickety table. The plumbing looked clean, except the fountain by the ladies toilets was very dirty. The showers were way too hot, even the family shower. The kids couldn't stand under it, it was so hot! And the door didn't lock properly. At night there was a lot of noise in the campsite, loud talking, loud music, etc. The kids couldn't sleep because of it. There was absolutely no consideration for fellow campers. In any case, we will never go here again.
