Superb week in a sweet Huttopia lac de Carcans tent with our 2 children. The nearby lake is great, the activities on offer are fun and the entertainers and staff are top-notch! The only downside is that it's sometimes noisy late at night due to the proximity of UCPA camps. But with earplugs it's fine. We highly recommend it!

Excellent caravan for 2 adults and 2 children for a week, great value for money even during peak August holidays. Small decking area for eating outside and space to park a car. Inside very well designed with lots of storage, well stocked kitchen equipment, coffee machine and small TV. Swimming pool a little small but never over crowded and a shallow part with a waterfall mushroom which the children loved. Shop was lovely with drinks, waffles and ice cream. Staff really friendly and everything kept very clean. 2 small parks and a giraffe bouncy castle which the children loved, plus a little farm where the kids could stroke and feed goats. The location is perfect for exploring normandy by car or bike. You can walk out of the back of the campsite right onto the river. Quick walk either to a park for kids or into town. Similarly you can walk the other way on the river which is beautiful and great for a run / relaxing stroll. The campsite was full when we were there and it didn't feel it at all. Really lovely stay!

This is not a 4-star campsite, the mobile home was old, when we arrived we didn't get an inventory of fixtures or the welcome kit, there were problems with the water heater (to get hot water in the bathroom you have to let it run in the kitchen).... Access to the upper mobile homes is dangerous, with a gravel path full of holes. It's impossible to park next to the car, and the parking lot is too small for the number of mobile homes and cars. It's also worth noting that the pool is not heated at all, even though it's advertised on the site. However, I'd like to point out that Christophe, the campsite maintenance man, is extremely helpful and dedicated, and the entertainer was top-notch, thanks to them. I'd also like to point out that the team at the independent restaurant is brilliant, very attentive and serves excellent food. In conclusion, this campsite is certainly not worth 4 stars.

We stayed here for more than a week and a half with the caravan. We had a pitch with private sanitary, pitch 3. It had rained before our arrival so the field was a bit soggy. Due to the clay composition it took a while before the field was dry. Sanitary facilities were clean upon arrival, although on the outside it looks a bit worn. This is actually true of the entire campground. There are fences with tarps on them to hide junk, I would try to clean up the junk. Then you won't have to hide it either. Don't get me wrong, super friendly staff but a bit wooden. Didn't use the pool, didn't really entice either. Did not eat in the restaurant, also not really attracted. Beautiful surroundings for hikers and cyclists. Nice towns half an hour away and shopping 10 minutes in the car.

Very pleasant, friendly campsite. The staff (reception, entertainment, snack bar, etc.) are committed and we have a great time. I highly recommend this campsite!

Not for couples traveling alone. Definitely great for children. Lots of different play options. In general, the place is overpriced. For us, four nights with a private bathroom cost €289. The pitch was so small that we couldn't even extend our awning. The private bathroom was very small and only had one shelf and one hook. You have to bring your own toilet paper. When you sat on the toilet you had the wall right in front of your nose. There is virtually nothing around it. Going for a walk is extremely tiring. You have to watch out for cars all the time. The town of Hardenberg, on the other hand, is worth seeing. But do you want to go into town every day? You definitely have to make a reservation at the restaurant. But at €22 for a salad with chicken breast, we lost our appetite. We also found it unpleasant that you are asked to pay on arrival. There is a small farm nearby with a few parking spaces and endless peace and quiet. So if you still want to go to the area. Conclusion: Please do not come again.

After three stays, always fully satisfying expectations, this last time, in a premium pitch for about 100 euros per day,I am bitterly regretting having returned. A newly made pitch, without shade ( we have 2 dogs declared in the reservation) and steeply sloping, with a layer of gravel of 20 cm. that made leveling extremely difficult. Otherwise all good. With young children I recommend to stand on the big field with playground in the middle. The other places are avenues where there is no playground and the cars have to stand on the pitch which is very cramped. -Internet is really worthless only at the bar/restaurant you have WiFi. 4g also barely reach. -For Dutch standards dated playground equipment. Swimming pool is fun for young and old. -Animation fine. -camping store is very expensive as well as the ice cream and certain lemonade drinks. -Food in restaurant on the campsite is good. -toilet building was very clean and was cleaned several times.

Great camping, with pool and a lot of stuff to do - minigolf, adrenaline park, climbing wall etc.

Very nice campsite for us and the two young children (3 and 7). Have not been bored for a moment and if the kids are happy then of course we are too. Will definitely come back.
