Thanks to David, this year he's the only animator who's given me a boost, who's re-motivated me and thanks to him, he's a good person with a smile, very welcoming and even more so. Thanks to him. Thank you. David

Beautiful location and fine cottages. We had a cottage with a large lockable garden. This was very nice for the dog. Beds had hard mattresses, but that is often the case at EuroParcs. It is recommended to bring something for the mattress if you like softer light. Otherwise, we were surrounded by nice hiking trails and a quiet environment with nice lots of birds, squirrels and mice.

Great camping to go with the family, they are also pet-friendly and have a pipican on the premises. A 10 min walk there is a beach where you can swim with your dog. Good services in the campsite (playground with zip line, two ping pong tables, paddle tennis courts, beach volleyball, basketball and soccer). Restaurant "Bama" in front of the pool with the lifeguard, Oscar, very friendly and attentive. And also excellent entertainment team for children and adults with water activities, in the mini-club for the kids and every night at 22h on the stage of the campsite. Unbeatable location in l'Ampolla, very close to the natural park of Deta de l'Ebre. We have stayed in boungalows and tiny home. It is the third time we come and we will repeat.

I'm giving Laterna Camping a solid 4 star rating. Together with my family (2 adults, 2 kids) we have enjoyed our 3 weeks summer holiday using our own caravan. In general, I would give this camping a positive recommendation to visit. Why not a 5 star rating? I will come back to this in a moment. Laterna Camping is not just "a camping". You should see it as a conglomorate of 10 different and larger areas within a single campsite. Depending on your family situation and personal preferences you should make sure to book a spot or camping home of your liking. Laterna Camping is a beautiful, seaside camping within an area of frequent elevation. Depending on where you are, you are either at sea level or potentially 30-40 Meters above it. The campite streches out over multiple kilometers of coastline and offers a lot of nature and natural shade. The campsite is also relativily old with a very developed nature (trees, bushes, plants, etc.) toilet buildings, supermarkets and other areas look modern and are being well maintained. Before making a booking I would carefully inspect the map of the campsite and find the area most of your liking, as this would have prevented many negative reviews that I've seen about this campsite. I've also seen quite some negative reviews around pricing of extra services or food. Although some of these services, snacks or entertainment items can be a bit pricy, I generally find them within reason and often you can go around them, for example you can easily save 50% on your icecream if you don't by it directly at the beach, but at one of the the campsite supermarkets nearby. the campsite supermarkets have really been modernized over the years and offer good food and drinks for competitive pricing compared to supermarkets outside of it. The supermarkets are small, but have a modern design and friendly staff. As the supermarket generally only serve "a-brand" products and has no "home-brand" alternatives, I guess some people find it a bit expensive compared to prices they generally might see at discounters. Things that could be improved, which would make me give it a 5 star rating: - The waste disposal is frequently full, and therefore becomes a bit smelly and attracks seagulls, in general this could be modernized and improved - The sound quality on the Piazza (during concerts and performances) is not that great. It is often quite loud and the actual quality of the set-up is not good (which in compensated with a higher sound volume I guess). A better sound design could really improve it and also lower complaints from people who have their pitch nearby. - I miss a bit of cosiness and authenticity on the Piazza in the evenings. It is all quite sterile and new, but does not really give the feeling of "lets go here tonight with the family and enjoy the evening" - Consider adding smaller pools (size like in Maro Village) at the edges of the campsite, for example around sunce beach that are open during the main season - WiFi was not the best and often not working, please fix this. 5g connection in the area was also not great

The plots are large and well shaded, the toilets are close and always clean. You can walk to Sarlat, the location of the campsite is very good, 20 minutes drive from many activities: river, caves, castles and medieval villages. Ideal for families with children.

We stayed there for 1 week, a quiet campsite with a lovely view of Cordes, pitches that aren't on top of each other and seasonal staff who are always top notch. The only downside was that the housework wasn't done as it should have been for the price we paid. And unfortunately, because of the rain, I fell with my daughter in my arms on the steps in front of the terrace, which are a real skating rink, even when you're extremely careful. Sincerely

We visited Camping Brilon and I would like to talk a little about my experience. If you come purely for silence and nature, you are in the right place: the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Just keep in mind that there are no activities to be found in the wider area (certainly within an hour's travel). Public transportation is free, but does not run on weekends. We did not end up using this, but will be a big plus for many. We also noticed that this seems to be primarily a transit campground, suitable for a short stopover, but less so for a longer stay. Even at the playground, no thought was given to parents: there wasn't a single bench where you could sit while the kids played. Which gave a funny picture because all the parents just took occupation of the playground equipment. Also causes the children to play less because parents are sitting on them. And gives over all an unpleasant feeling to parents (in my especially) Our first encounter with the reception was unfortunately not pleasant. While we were waiting in line to check in, we briefly wanted to pet the dog (who was there at the reception). (Who was also at that moment the only one who greeted us sweetly in contrast to the receptionists) However, this was immediately and rather unkindly rejected, with the explanation that the dog would then drool and that she then had to clean it up. This immediately made us feel uncomfortable upon arrival. In addition, on arrival we were faced with an additional cleaning fee. In the cottage itself it then turned out that hardly anything had been cleaned: we found clothes and bedding from previous guests. When we brought this back to the reception, we did not receive an apology but a discussion arose between staff members about how this could happen. At the reception there were posters everywhere with prices for anything extra: extra persons, extra places, and so on. Only the cost of the washing machine was not listed, which again caused frustration. In addition, the reception is open very little, which makes it difficult if you run into something. As for privacy, there is hardly any. In the cottage there are not curtains everywhere, the shower is on a window side that can be adjusted from outside which made me personally feel very uncomfortable. Also the gardener was already walking in the garden in the morning while we were staying inside (who also left all the cut leaves in our temporary garden). Which gave me the question "why do we have to leave before 10:00 while you are doing our cleaning of the cottage during our stay?". This was a really really really big minus point for us. At check out which we did earlier than expectations was not asked about how it was. On the contrary even lady was too busy to uberhoud to respond to my questions. The computer was more important. If you would talk purely about customer friendliness, this campground does not even come out with 1 star. Positive point: the cottage itself was fine in terms of space and the mattress was really excellent - a big compliment for that. The wifi was also good and nice that it was included. The TV also worked well and gave you the choice to possibly watch Netflix etc.
