Correct accommodation overall, with impeccable hot water. However, pots and pans are lacking for proper cooking and the comforters are rather old. The electrical installation seems to be undersized, as the switchboard often trips. Worryingly, an unprotected socket is located right next to the washbasin in the bathroom, which does not comply with the NF C 15-100 standard. Zone 2: 60cm around the basin ⚠️ The socket is not watertight. What's more, some dog owners don't keep their dogs on a leash: I was nearly bitten by an uncontrolled staff dog. Generally correct, but don't expect luxury accommodation.

First of all, we were only there for two nights as we wanted to do some shopping in the area. So our aim was not to use the Europarcs like others. We did not use the pool etc. and this is not included in the rating. The house was visually great, parking right outside the door. The interior was also adequate at first glance. What I rate negatively is that there was no real coffee machine, only a Nespresso, for which there were not even capsules in the kiosk. The second negative point is the beds. They are all single beds (including the double bed), which are not particularly comfortable. The shower is okay for two nights, for longer it would have been nothing. You have to know that you have to bring everything yourself. Towels, hand soap, shower mats. That makes it a bit unattractive. You have to make the beds yourself, but bed linen is available on site. Unfortunately, our bed linen was not clean twice (even the replacement that came was dirty again). But I have to say, you can't expect much for the price, so on the whole it's okay. If, like us, you only want to stay here for a short time, you'll be fine :)

We were stayin at the end of October in the Hiking Hut which was perfectly located 10m from sanitary and pools with spa. We had hearing panel in hut and the bedding was very comfortable. The sauna is really clean and cozy. Everything is relaxed and feeling like home. People are very nice. There is also a lot of playground for children, ponies and goats.

Quiet. Pedestrian. Between lake and ocean. Top services. Well-placed location. Spaced accommodations. Smells like vacation. 3rd huttopia in two years. Nothing like the one in Mimizan where the accommodation and pitches are far too close together and there's no charm. The peace and quiet here is already pleasant. The pizzas are good. It was a pleasant week. But the price is still high for what it is.

Nice campground for the family. Lots of amenities and neat plumbing. Brasserie is nicely decorated and fine service and menu.

We stayed in June one week. Beautiful village, lots of amenities, lots of greenery. Amazing cleanliness! Highly recommended.

Liked: Well provisioned site with clean and warm sanitary blocks, friendly staff and an excellent bakery service. Theres a choice of places to eat on site and a bar, with excellent access to the hiking routes as well as the town. Disliked: We were here in late October and the pitches were quite boggy. Some of the power points are a very long way from the pitch, although they were every accommodating and moved me closer as I have a relatively short hookup.

We liked CityKamp Valkenburg very much, beautifully situated in the countryside, 20 minutes walk to the center of Valkenburg, the well-structured site has very good facilities (sanitary facilities, swimming pool, playground, etc.) and the sanitary facilities are very clean. The bread roll service is great and the receptionist was very nice and gave us good information about Valkenburg. We will definitely be back. Many thanks to the CityKamp team!
