A little slice of paradise where you feel right at home!
For us, vacations are all about having a good time together, and we’ve been coming here for three years in a row now—and we’ve already made plans for next year! Year after year, our group keeps growing: we bring along new camping friends and coordinate our vacations so we can all get together.
The staff is top-notch:
Ambroise and Erwan (the owners) are always smiling and very helpful.
The beach bar (run independently) is staffed by Aëlla and Charly, who are simply adorable.
A special shout-out to Régis and Évelyne, our “veterans,” who take great care to ensure everything is perfect for everyone’s comfort.
The activities are varied and suitable for all ages, young and old alike.
But what really makes this campground special is the people you meet. You form bonds so strong that when it’s time to leave, tears inevitably flow as we leave this wonderful vacation “family” behind.

A beautiful campground and definitely worth a visit!

It’s a lovely, well-maintained family campground. Most of the guests are Dutch families. (We visited during school break.) The layout is spacious and green. The two play areas are fun and bring lots of kids together. The pool is purely functional—there’s no space to relax or hang out—and the water is only heated when there’s enough solar energy. There are plenty of amenities, especially for young children, such as an indoor playground and play areas. The restrooms are good and clean. Here, too, solar energy is used for hot water, so the water can sometimes be cold. The sites on the field are spacious and open. Personally, I wouldn’t want to be parked along the paths, as it can get quite tight for a folding trailer.
The Wi-Fi is very poor, but 5G is also poor, so you’ll have a peaceful vacation.

In short, a very nice campground that I can definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful week at Camping Waddenzee and can look back on a truly five-star experience. Upon arrival, our chalet was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed. We were also immediately impressed by the campground’s spacious and well-maintained layout.

For kids, this is truly a playground paradise. There’s plenty of space to play and explore, so they weren’t bored for a single moment. That made our stay as a family even more relaxing.

A major highlight is the campground’s restaurant. There’s a wide and varied selection, the food is tasty and of good quality, and the service is excellent. In addition, the ice cream parlor and the bread service are highly recommended.

There’s also plenty to do in the immediate area. We were able to do something fun every day and weren’t bored for a moment. We also found the prices very reasonable, especially considering the quality and all the amenities available.

We had a fantastic week here and would definitely love to come back. As far as we’re concerned, Camping Waddenzee comes highly recommended for families looking for a well-organized, cozy, and affordable vacation.

We stayed for 5 days and were delighted! The bathrooms were wonderful, and the entertainment was top-notch! The instructors were great, too! The front desk staff, the lifeguard… we loved them all! We’ll definitely be back! The pool and facilities were great! We took part in yoga, evening entertainment, and sports games—I even enjoyed a massage in a spot in the woods! Thanks, Ana!
A great family campground!

Very spacious play area with equipment for children of various ages. You can grab a bite to eat and a drink on-site, and there are also picnic areas. The pool isn’t very large, but it’s great fun for kids and includes a slide. Changing rooms are available. Restrooms are also on site. Free parking; free admission to the playground and the petting zoo. Beautifully landscaped paths. Plenty of trees providing shade.

The location of this campground is its real selling point! It’s no more than 15 km from many sites worth visiting.
As mentioned in several responses from management, the campground is showing its age and many things need to be restored. However, some issues require more elbow grease than financial investment.
The broken light fixtures on the restaurant terrace—there’s no point in keeping them; they don’t work!

Clean the chairs and tables when it rained the day before!
The chalet wasn’t very clean—dried-up food residue in the microwave… and the restrooms were downright unsanitary.
We weren’t asked to do an inventory check upon arrival; just between two guests, we were told that the previous tenants had broken the bathroom mirror and that someone would come by to replace it! We replied that it wasn’t urgent, but we didn’t see anyone all week despite that. On the other hand, I had to do an inspection upon checkout.... I don’t know how you plan to account for the damage
Other slightly annoying issues: vehicles coming and going at all hours, and no security at the campground.
It’s a shame that the maintenance doesn’t live up to the standards of this campground, which has real potential!

A pleasant campground. The sites are far too sunny, especially during a heat wave. A major drawback is the very busy road, and while the restrooms are cleaned frequently, there are simply not enough of them—they’re outdated but functional.
The constant flow of vehicles in front of the sites kicks up a lot of dust. It’s a real shame.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are many varied activities. The food trucks and pop-up restaurants are a real plus.
The pools are pleasant.

Everything about this campsite is fabulous. 2 waterparks, 2 spas and another quiet water garden area in addition to glorious beaches. There's also an onsite small theme park, an inflatable area for younger kids, 7 D cinema, crazy golf, karting and water boats.
There's a multitude of gorgeous restaurants and cafes and the site is well serviced with 2 supermarkets and other shops.
While it's an easy jourmey to Venice you might not want to ever leave the park and understandabley so!! The evening entertainment is the sort you'd pay to go to see, not to mention the drone show and fireworks.
