A lovely small-scale campground... friendly staff. Nice playground
Nice pool... but when the weather is warm, it gets crowded with visitors from outside the campground, which makes it just a little too crowded.

The campsite is a bit pricey, but it's worth it—don't forget, we're in Tuscany 👍👍👍👍.

A wonderful campground with very spacious sites, child-friendly, and also suitable for seniors. Nice, clean restrooms. A lovely little restaurant with a patio and a swimming area. Friendly owners. We’ll definitely be back.

A magnificent and peaceful spot, with the La Cèze River flowing at its feet.

Nearby, less than a 30-minute drive away, are some superb little villages typical of the Gard region, designated as “The Most Beautiful Villages of France.”

At the campground, we were warmly welcomed by the Slow Village team, who were very friendly and took great care of their guests.

I’d like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to Marie, the director, who was very understanding of our situation—since we’d just come from Biscarrosse amid the wildfires—and gave us a wonderful surprise by accommodating us for four nights in the extraordinary villa available for rent on the campground.

The pool water is cloudy. The restrooms don't smell very fresh. Other than that, it's a great campground.

My experiences here have been very mixed. The campground’s location is great, and the staff at the kids’ club are really fantastic—thank you all! But what I’ve never experienced before is the excessive use of air conditioners and the failure to observe quiet hours. For some people here, even one air conditioner isn’t enough! No—they even leave a rooftop unit and an outdoor unit humming all day and all night! Great—100% eco-friendly at Valamar! People are out and about all day, and the air conditioners are blasting away. A natural idyll at its finest! Why do all these smart alecks head south? To test whether Thruma’s air conditioners are working? Air conditioners and arrival and departure times take priority over quiet hours—I can confirm that after several conversations with the front desk. Sad but true. At least we were able to change spots. Then we were completely bombarded by the hum of just one unit.
