We spent 3 weeks at this campsite. Correct pitch, very clean sanitary facilities and beautiful swimming pool. Very quiet. Very friendly and available team. Bravo a vous tous

What a great campsite this is, what has this young couple, there together something great made, spacious places, clean plumbing, they give lots of information about what to do in the area, and there is much to do there, even free train travel in the area there, this campsite deserves more than a 10

If you can get a place right by the sea, there's nothing better! You're practically just a few meters from the sea. Fantastic sunsets guaranteed! Basic sanitary facilities, but always clean. Actually, one star should be deducted because 3 of the 5 men's toilets were ancient standing toilets. This is simply no longer up to date. Baked goods can be ordered at the reception and are delivered directly to the pitch the next morning (it is advisable to provide a bag). Very friendly staff who also speak very good English. All requests were dealt with immediately. What you need to know: The place is very remote. You have to walk uphill to the town center to go shopping. This was not necessary for us as we had shopped well beforehand. We didn't use the restaurant on site, but it looked good from the outside and from the menu. The pool was rated as too small in some reviews. I can't confirm that, I thought the size was fine. Of course it's noisy and full of children at weddings, but there are plenty of other times. We would love to come back!

Excellent campsite which has been updated to a high standard. 2km walk to town centre. Site was clean and well maintained

I don't like campsites much and rather choose a camper spot. But I really like Huttopia campsites. Nice location and not too expensive compared to a camper spot. Good service and everything clean and tidy. Still feeling of being in the middle of nature.

Very good experience! Nice staff, all of them. You do have to like peace and quiet and don't mind getting in the car or on your bike (can bike a nice distance) for some commotion. On the other hand, there is plenty to do on the property to keep you entertained and I think in high season the quietness I mention now is not applicable either.

First holiday just myself and my partner, and we absolutely loved it. We had looked at various hotels within the area and stumbled across this by chance. I prefer the freedom of villa holidays, and having personal space as opposed to hotels for my holidays. Most of my childhood holidays were spent at the Eurocamps all over Europe, and the glamping village was reminiscent of these, but slightly more intimate and upmarket. The park is extremely well kept, clean and in a perfect location just slightly out of the hustle and bustle of Fuengirola, but close enough to stroll down along the seafront and in a prime location to access Mijas, Cala de Mijas and Marbella. Reflecting on the holiday, both of us agreed that we wouldn’t have done anything any differently. Everything was perfect and it’s somewhere I would like to return to as a large family

Very nice facility and equipped for wheelchair users. But at the moment it is impossible to access the equipped pool as it lacks the job chair essential for access to the water. Too bad

My experience with this establishment has been very unpleasant. We made a reservation some time ago for a weekend in a "log cabin", a statement we had in our reservation at the place through Booking. Upon arrival they give us a tent that on their page is BELL. It is a tent with a bed set up inside. This tent bore no resemblance to that "wooden cabin". Nor did it have a bathroom, as the other one advertised. When we told the girl about it, she told us that it was a problem in the Booking reservation specifications, that they had nothing to do with it and that it had already happened to her before. We had made a 3 hour trip to find this situation on a Friday at 21.00 hours. We can understand the different circumstances that can arise from something like this, but what I emphasize in this review is the lack of professionalism of the employees of the establishment. They did not give any solution to the problem. We were the ones who had to emphasize that what we wanted was a solution within paying a reasonable price for a change to another store as close as possible to the reservation we had. They were full, was their response, they can not do more insist. Finally they offered us and made us a price for a large cabin paying 170 euros more per night, after having already paid for our stay. Evidently the difference was so disproportionate that we told them that we could not afford this amount. As a last option, they told us that they would refund what we had paid. We opted for the latter and at 10 pm on a Friday we had to look for accommodation. We are people who, fortunately, have been traveling for years. We have been through many circumstances but never with a service as unpleasant as that night at We Camp Cabo de Gata.
