However, the sanitary facilities are perceived as outdated and not always clean, with complaints about limescale, odours and limited shower capacity. Some guests feel the price-quality ratio is not balanced and experience noise disturbances, especially when groups have booked.

    A quiet campground in a great location. Ideal for cycling near junction 25. Nice sites, but you have to park your car in the parking lot (which is nearby). The restrooms have been renovated, but the water could be a little warmer. There’s no awning over the sinks, which made washing dishes unpleasant when it rained.

    Rustige camping met prima ligging. Ideaal voor fietsen nabij knooppunt 25. Mooie plaatsen maar auto moet wel op parking gezet (dichtbij). Vernieuwd sanitair maar water mocht iets warmer. Geen afdakje bij de afwasbakken en bij regen was dit niet aangenaam.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Camping De Boomgaard in Maaseik! We received a very warm welcome, and the owner was incredibly helpful.

    The campground is beautifully situated along the Meuse River. We especially loved the dock: it was wonderful to jump into the water and go for a swim. There are also picnic benches along the water where you can sit comfortably and enjoy the peace and quiet and the beautiful view.

    The renovated restrooms were very clean and tidy, which is always nice, of course.

    We also rented a rowboat through the campground, which we highly recommend! That way, we were able to explore the beautiful surroundings from the water as well.

    A wonderful spot for anyone who loves peace and quiet, nature, and water. We had an absolutely wonderful time and would love to come back here again!

    Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf bij Camping De Boomgaard in Maaseik! We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en de uitbater was ontzettend behulpzaam.

    De camping ligt prachtig aan de Maas. Vooral de steiger vonden wij geweldig: heerlijk om even het water in te springen en te zwemmen. Langs het water staan ook picknickbanken waar je gezellig kunt zitten en genieten van de rust en het mooie uitzicht.

    Het vernieuwde sanitair was erg schoon en netjes, wat natuurlijk altijd fijn is.

    Wij hebben via de camping ook een sloep gehuurd, wat we absoluut kunnen aanraden! Zo hebben we de prachtige omgeving ook vanaf het water kunnen ontdekken.

    Een heerlijke plek voor wie houdt van rust, natuur en water. Wij hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad en komen hier graag nog eens terug!

    A wonderful campground in a beautiful spot on the Maas! We stayed here with our rooftop tent and enjoyed the beautiful view and the peaceful atmosphere. The owner is incredibly friendly, and we were even able to rent a small boat right there to go out on the Maas. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be back!

    We had a truly wonderful and relaxing short stay. We were especially thrilled with our campsite, which offered a unique view of the Meuse River. Enjoying that view in the morning and winding down the day in a completely relaxed way by the water in the evening was simply wonderful.
    The campground is very well-maintained, quiet, and pleasant. The location is also ideal for bike rides—the beautiful surroundings and the paths along the Meuse River are perfect for great tours.

    All in all, a very nice place to relax and enjoy yourself. We felt completely at home, would love to come back, and can absolutely recommend this campground!

    Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen & erholsamen Kurzaufenthalt. Besonders begeistert hat uns unser Stellplatz mit einem einmaligen Blick auf die Maas. Morgens diese Aussicht zu genießen und abends den Tag ganz entspannt am Wasser ausklingen zu lassen, war einfach herrlich.
    Der Campingplatz ist sehr gepflegt, ruhig und angenehm. Auch für Fahrradausflüge ist die Lage ideal – die schöne Umgebung und die Wege entlang der Maas laden zu tollen Touren ein.

    Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt, kommen gerne wieder und können den Campingplatz absolut weiterempfehlen!
