Alpaca Walk

Have you always wanted to go for a walk with alpacas? Next to Taverne de Krieckaert in Gellik, in the middle of the beautiful Lieteberg forest in Hoge Kempen National Park, and 10 minutes from the glamping, various activities are organized with specially trained therapy alpacas: Ren, Stimpy and Haakon. They love walking and enjoy meeting new people. An alpaca walk lasts 1 to 1.5 hours and is a unique experience through a beautiful area.

    The park is in great shape. The restrooms are clean and the facilities are well-maintained.

    Upon arrival, we found that a slat on the slatted base of one of the beds was broken. You can easily report issues via text message, but they don’t follow up on them—not even after multiple attempts. I ended up fixing it myself. The entertainment team is a total letdown. On several occasions, no one showed up, or the wrong location for the activity was given. We won’t be coming back here.

    Park ligt er prima bij. Sanitair is schoon en de faciliteiten zijn goed onderhouden.

    Bij aankomst bleek een lat van de lattenbodem van een van de bedden kapot. Gebreken kan je makkelijk via SMS melden. Ze volgen dit alleen niet op. Ook niet na meerdere pogingen. Ik heb het zelf maar gemaakt. Animatieteam is om te janken. Meerdere keren komt er niemand opdagen of wordt de verkeerde locatie van de activiteit doorgegeven. Wij komen hier niet meer terug.

    Belcikada ilk tatilimizdi ve burası cok guzel bir yer. Yerleşke alanının karşısında ki havuz icin kişi başı bir kereye mahsus 7.5 euro veriyorsun bir bileklik aliyorsun ve tatilinin sonuna kadar havuza gidip gelebiliyorsun. Ayrıca Europarcs'in içinde bulunan spreyparkta bu bileklikle eğlenebiliyorsun. Biz F serisindeki evde kaldik ufak gibi duruyor ama çok şirin ve ergonomik. Hiçbir sıkıntı yaşamadık. Yetkililer bizimle çok iyi ilgilendiler. Tabi ki doğa ile iç içe olmanız süper. Ailece cok mutlu olduk, teşekkürler Europarcs.

    Our second vacation in the Hoge Kempen. This year we stayed in a larger cottage with air conditioning. We chose the spot ourselves on the map. A really nice cottage in a great location! The cottage was spotless when we arrived. Despite the hot weather, we had a great time and enjoyed a wonderful vacation! Bonus: comfortable beds!

    Onze 2e vakantie op de Hoge Kempen. Dit jaar een grotere cottage met airco. Zelf de plek gekozen op de plattegrond. Super fijn huisje, goede ligging! Huisje was bij aankomst mega schoon. Ondanks het warme weer ons erg goed vermaakt en een hele fijne vakantie gehad! Pluspunt: goede bedden!
