Playgrounds nice and with bouncy cushions. Restaurant on site closed Tue+Mi Water playground in the park opens in May. Mini indoor playground above restaurant only in rain, not used. Accommodation initially very cold in April, especially the floor was freezing cold - service came to us and adjusted the heating, then everything was fine. There were no fly screens at our accommodation C12, but this was not a problem in spring. Microwave can also be used as an oven. Light in the bathroom very dark rather orange, also the light on the mirror dark No shelves or hooks. No animation during Easter vacation Germany, but had enough to do :) Bike rental from 122cm children 10€, was still too big for our daughter at 130, but we were able to change without any problems, 2026 cargo bike 1 day 48€, e-bike 33€ per day. In the next booking step bike bag 4€ and child seat 4€ possible. Electric car for children 30min for 15€ Opposite outdoor pool open from May 15 Comforter cover always included in the price, may not have been indicated when booking. Breakfast service with bread rolls Shopping center and Aldi, Lidl nearby, many other products than in Germany. Great barefoot path nearby 3km approx. 12€ per person / 36€ family. Rent a bike to the planetarium, nice tour. Chinese hot pot restaurant in 10km was also very tasty and a change from the fried Belgian food. Nice open air museum, with dressing up for children, play barn, actors and much more. Large playground in front, one of the largest free outdoor playgrounds in Belgium.

We are now for 1 week in a Belsano 6 pers. With 4 adults. A beautiful spacious chalet. At the far end of the park. Against the forest. So birds enough. We have 2 toilets including 1 in the bathroom. The shower is good. Our beds are also good. There are a lot of different chalets so that's probably why the different reviews. Ours is top, probably not very old either. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. Hiking trails from the park are available at the reception. Close to Hasselt, Genk oa C-mine , at Social deal for half the price. ( Remain Dutch 😁 ) Center Genk at Shopping 1 , 1 1/2 hour free parking. At Asch, small old station with still some old trains ( free entrance ). Saturdays a children's train runs there. Hiking trails that start there. Info at the tourist office. There is also a train where you can enter through that office.
