Urban Gardens Ieper offers an excellent location just 10-15 minutes' walk from the city centre and Menin Gate. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, clean sanitary facilities and spacious campervan pitches with electricity and water. The campsite is ideal as a base for exploring Ypres and the WWI sites in the surrounding area. However, disturbance is regularly reported from nearby factories operating 24/7, and occasionally from music events. Sanitary capacity was temporarily limited during renovation works.

A campground a 10-minute walk from Ypres. A great starting point for hiking and biking, and for visiting Ypres with its impressive Flanders Museum in the majestic Cloth Hall. And, of course, The Last Post. We stayed here for 5 days.
There’s a new restroom facility that isn’t quite finished yet but is already usable. There’s also an older, smaller restroom facility that’s kept very clean. It’s checked several times a day.this is a translation, click here for the original
Camping op 10 minuten lopen van Ieper. Een mooi uitvalspunt om te wandelen en fietsen en Ieper met zijn indrukwekkende Flandres museum in de imposante Lakenhal te bezoeken. En natuurlijk the Last Post.

Great location but if you are a cyclist please note the pitches are next to public pathway, there is no security, the ground is uneven and lumpy, the electricity points take a caravan plug so we had to borrow an adapter plug from reception, there is no shade from the sun and as far as I could see no washing up facilities. The water is drinkable but the access is over by the rubbish. Up to you but I would book here again which is a shame as they have new ablutions which are lovely. I feel as a cyclist any piece of grass is passed of as a tent pitch - would the owners actually camp here themselves?

Helpfull receptionist, swapped my CP for a normal place away from the entrance. Strategic position to visit the city of Ypres.

We always make this the last night of our European stay, as it’s just over an hour back to the Chunnel. The motorhome places are narrow-ish but adequate and the facilities are excellent. It’s a very pleasant 20 mins walk into the stunning centre by the river, to spectate the incredibly humbling Last Post at the Menin Gate (8pm every evening, every day, all year round). There are countless lovely bars and restaurants (and chocolate shops!) in the beautiful centre square. Well worth a stopover. I can highly recommend.

A very quiet site close to the Town.. maybe a 15 minute walk away.. Ideally suited for visiting the Menin gate. Amenities are clean nice shower block and toilets. Water and electricity on the pitch.

Very convenient for Ypres , only 10 mins to the Menin gate . However specifically booked a grass pitch which was confirmed as 85 M2 and 10 amp but on arrival was offered a tarmac pitch , managed to get on a hardstand with some grass next to us for the gazebo. This would not stop me recommending here though , if you are coming in the next month (July/August 2026) there is only one toilet/shower block as the other is being renovated.
