This peaceful holiday park on the edge of Saverne combines a green, park-like atmosphere with excellent service. Guests praise the friendly staff, spacious and often shady pitches, and clean sanitary facilities. The covered swimming pool and cosy snack bar serving local specialities (tartes flambées, crêpes) add extra comfort. The location is ideal for trips to Strasbourg, Colmar and the Vosges, with Saverne itself just a 20-minute walk away. Areas for improvement include the wifi (paid and expensive), missing toilet seats, and occasional noise from adjacent sports fields.

    The campground is located on a hill in a quiet outskirt of Saverne. It’s a great starting point for walks and hikes. It’s about a 20-minute walk into town. The campsites are very large and mostly level, with some paved areas. There are excellent, separate waste disposal facilities at the entrance, as well as a place to dispose of gray … water.

    The restroom facilities could be updated to meet today’s standards. Due to a closure, women had to use the men’s restrooms. The shower water was barely body temperature—I’d estimate about 34°C. That’s clearly not enough, especially when it’s only 8°C outside and you’ve been looking forward to a really hot shower. There were no toilet seats, and there was a musty, sewer-like odor. Unfortunately, the birdsong coming from the loudspeaker didn’t help. I doubt that the absence of toilet seats actually promotes better hygiene. There are other ways to handle this, as you can see at many other sites.

    Der Campingplatz liegt erhöht in einer ruhigen Randlage von Saverne. Für Spaziergänge und Wanderungen ist es ein guter Startpunkt. In die Stadt geht man etwa 20 min. zu Fuß. Die Stellplätze sind sehr groß und weitgehend eben, teils befestigt. Sehr gute, getrennte Abfallentsorgung am Eingang sowie die Möglichkeit, Grauwasser zu entsorgen.

    Die sanitären Anlagen könnten dem heute üblichen Standard angepasst werden. Frauen mussten aufgrund einer Sperrung in den Männerbereich gehen. Das Wasser zum Duschen war nur knapp körperwarm, ich schätze etwa 34° C. Das ist deutlich zu wenig, gerade wenn es draußen nur 8° C sind und man sich auf eine richtig heiße Dusche gefreut hat. Es gab keine Toilettenbrillen und es herrschte ein muffiger Kanalgeruch. Da half das Vogelgezwitscher aus dem Lautsprecher leider nicht. Ob fehlende Toilettenbrillen eine bessere Hygiene ermöglichen, möchte ich anzweifeln. Das geht auch anders, wie man auf vielen Plätzen erleben kann.

    A lovely place with friendly German- and English-speaking staff. Basic restroom facilities that were always clean. A small enclosure with goats, chickens, and other animals right next to the campground. The charming little town, with its harbor, shops, and restaurants, is less than a 30-minute walk away. Bread roll service and a selection of … drinks and groceries. There’s a lounge with a TV as well as a covered pool. If the front desk is closed, you can simply check in online. Access is via a PIN.     Ein schöner Platz mit netten Deutsch und Englisch sprechenden Personal. Einfache Sanitäranlagen die jederzeit sauber waren. Ein kleines Gehege mit Ziegen Hühnern und so weiter direkt am Campingplatz. Die schöne kleine Stadt mit ihrem Hafen Geschäften und Gaststätten ist in weniger als 30 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Brötchenservice und einige Getränke und Lebensmittel. Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum mit Fernseher sowie einen überdachten Pool. Wenn der Empfang geschlossen ist kann man einfach online einchecken. Die Zufahrt erfolgt über PIN. Ich werde sicherlich wieder kommen! Liebe Grüße Stephan

    Stayed one night in October; simple campground, basic restroom facilities, no toilet seats (but there was toilet paper), there was an unpleasant smell; not a campground for a longer stay with kids, but good for an overnight stay—though I think 27 euros for two people a bit on the high side in the fall; the town center is nice, a 25-minute walk away, though it’s a bit dead on Saturday nights

    1 nacht verbleven in oktober, simpele camping, sanitair minimaal, geen toiletbrillen, wel wc-papier, onprettige lucht hing er, geen camping voor langere tijd met kids, goed als overnachtingscamping, al vind ik 27 euro voor 2 pers. In najaar wel wat aan de hoge kant, leuk centrum stadje, 25 min lopen , wel beetje doods op de zaterdagavond

    Excellent campground, a wonderful staff with a warm welcome!
    Clean restrooms and great sites—their mini-farm is a real bonus :)
