    A beautiful campground in a quiet location. We stayed in an Évasion chalet. It’s a compact five-person cabin. It feels sturdy and is fully equipped with everything you need. However, we found the double bed too small. 140x190 just isn’t spacious enough. Also, the mattress and pillows were very hard and not very comfortable.

    The campground itself is ideal for families with young children. Activities are organized daily, some for a fee and some free of charge. The “toy factory” and pony rides were particularly popular.

    The staff is friendly and helpful; you can order fresh bread daily, and there’s a bar where you can get pizza.

    The pool isn’t large but is great for cooling off. It’s also nice that there’s a heated pool for colder days.

    In terms of location, the campground is a bit out of the way, but there are good supermarkets nearby. It’s about an hour’s drive to Caen, and you can reach the coast in 40 minutes. There you’ll find charming towns like Trouville-sur-Mer and Honfleur.

    I can wholeheartedly recommend this campground (and Huttopia in general) to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in nature.

    Mooie camping, rustig gelegen. Wij hadden een chalet Évasion. Dit is een compact vijf persoons huisje. Het voelt stevig aan en is compleet ingericht met alles wat je nodig hebt. Wel vonden we het tweepersoonsbed te klein. 140x190 is gewoon niet ruim. Ook waren het matras en de kussens erg hard en niet heel comfortabel.

    De camping zelf is heel geschikt voor mensen met jonge kinderen. Er worden dagelijks activiteiten georganiseerd, deels betaald en deels gratis. Vooral de ‘speelgoedfabriek’ en het ponyrijden vielen erg in de smaak.

    Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, er is dagelijks vers brood te bestellen, en er is een bar waar je pizza’s kunt halen.

    Het zwembad is niet groot maar prima om even lekker af te koelen. Ook fijn dat er een verwarmd zwembad is voor de koudere dagen.

    Qua ligging ligt de camping wat afgelegen maar er zijn goeie supermarkten in de buurt. Het is ongeveer een uurtje rijden naar Caen en de kust bereik je in 40 minuten. Daar vind je leuke plaatsjes als Trouville-sur-mere en Honfleur.

    Ik kan deze camping (en Huttopia in het algemeen) van harte aanraden aan iedereen die een ontspannen vakantie in de natuur zoekt.

    It’s always a pleasure to return to Huttopia Calvados—the staff is top-notch!
    There were no caravans on the terrace due to construction, but this was well compensated for by the availability of the bar at the front desk and external service providers.
    Even a day without electricity due to an outage on the Enedis grid didn’t bother us, thanks to the clear communication from the campground staff.

    Pas de caravanes sur terrasse en travaux mais bien palier par la disponibilité du bar à l’accueil et aux prestataires extérieurs.
    Même une journée sans électricité dû à une panne sur le réseau Enedis , nous a pas perturbé grâce à la communication des équipes du camping .
